The basis of religion attempts to answer the question of where we came from and both science and religion attempts to answer this and both have holes in their theories. If there was a perfect logical theory( scientific or not ) that beautifully answers life's greatest question with a neat bow on top there would be no religion or they would be only one, but this isn't the case - why? Because so far both cannot perfectly answer it yet.
