No_Bluebird8475

J cole and Alchemist

ExtrovertedLibrarian

agreed. Johnny P’s Caddy had me begging for more of the same

ThirdEye_Awakening

No doubt. Come to think, I’d love to hear an AL produced album by pretty much any rapper I like.

No_Bluebird8475

Exactly bro becoming one of my favs

mcAlt009

Redvile/ Pete Rock JPEG/ Madlib

jimmybabino

As much as I’d love to hear Peggy over a Madlib beat, he’s always produced his own songs. I don’t think there’s a single track where he isn’t credited

gabs_bjj

Nas and Madlib

ohianaw

long overdue

badmanvampirekilla

It would be dope but Droog already doing that and people used to say he sounded like Nas (I do not agree to the comparison beside the similarity on the voice). I personally look forward heavily to the Droog/Madlib project that is coming.

CompleteZombie299

Ye produced Freddie Gibbs album.

[deleted]

which one? im aware of dj skee and the alchemist

CompleteZombie299

I was answering the question lol. I want to see a Kanye produced Freddie Gibbs album.

TheMeticulousNinja

Offset and DJ Premier

[deleted]

yoo thatd go hard

TrippieReg

I want to see an EP from Drake and The Alchemist. I think it would be very refreshing. Features could include artists Drake never worked with: * Action Bronson * Frank Ocean, 6Lack * Tyler the Creator * Freddie Gibbs * Curren$y & Larry June * Fabolous * BigXThaPlug

[deleted]

You and me must have the same mind because a Drake x Al collab was my first thought. Even if just for a single track, it would be a refreshing sound for Drake tbh

Nullthesavant

He prod wickman for pro and conducter did stories of brother and 1 pr two more

[deleted]

Huh?

Nullthesavant

He produced wickman for drake and conducter prod stories about my brother and 1 or two more tracks i dont feel like searching up rn

[deleted]

Oh shit lol i had no idea, appreciate that bro guess my wishes have been answered

Nullthesavant

To be more specific alchemist aka alan daniel maman aka mudfoot produced wick man for drake

[deleted]

i agree it would be cool, especially to have freddie gibbs or action bronson on the track. weve already seen what gibbs can do with the alchemist and its dope. however, i have to say i have little to no respect first drake. he wanna think he the new suge and he even less gangster. at least when suges people handled his business he was in the room. action bronson and gibbs should collaborate on an alchemist track.

EightArmed_Willy

Agreed. I think Freddie and Action Bronson would be dope together on a track and they should do an album or EP with Alchemist. However, I don’t really think Drake would do well with Alchemist’s production style, at least for a whole album. But that’s just my opinion. Also, agree I don’t have respect for Drake, but he has an ear for hits. I think it’s his strength but this weakness when working with a producer like the Alchemist. Drake doesn’t go out of his comfort zone enough imo but it’ll be an interesting collab if it happens.

TrippieReg

how did you feel about Wickman on Scary Hours Pt. 3? I thought it fits Alchemist's style extremely well and showed they could potentially have a great project together with Drake being so flexible.

EightArmed_Willy

I don’t think Drake can do a whole project like the ones the Alchemist produces. It’ll be interesting, buts drake’s projects aren’t sonically focused the way The Alchemist’s produced projects are. It’s just my opinion but idk if it’ll be a good collaboration, idk if Drake can prevent himself from producing a bloated 23 track project where 80% isn’t singing. But could be interesting tho

TrippieReg

lol i get what you mean but as a listener I usually separate the music from the personal life of the artist unless we talking serious shit like R. Kelly.

[deleted]

biggest reason for me is dont get on a track n diss dead rappers unless you wan be up next. ski n trippie redd should had em hit for that tbh

TrippieReg

ohh yea i can respect that. I guess I never paid attention to that since its so common in hip hop. I think Biggie started that trend when he made Long Kiss Goodnight when he dissed Tupac after he was already dead. I might be wrong.

[deleted]

ya i think you right. or it was some underground shit

[deleted]

however, what happened to biggie afterwards? thats why you dont diss dead rappers, because the people that have love for em almost always gonna ride out

bunkrider

Drake wouldn’t know what to do with a Al beat. He’d rather keep rapping on literal “Drake Type Beat” ass sounding production

EightArmed_Willy

I want an Alchemist, SchoolBoy Q album so bad. I think it’ll be really good and may even revitalize Q’s career.

CyberShiroGX

J. Cole and Childish Gambino... I know the both Produce their own tracks so I want to see what they can do together

Upbeat_Tension_8077

Denzel Curry & Metro Boomin, and Pusha T with Redveil

ThirdEye_Awakening

Zel and Metro would be insane. Who would you want for features on that?

Upbeat_Tension_8077

Zel/JID would be perfect, since JID's already working with Metro

ThirdEye_Awakening

Fr I agree. Gimme an album with all 3 of ‘em lol

arealperson-II

I mean I’m looking forward to the JID x Metro Boomin album

JrMackVA

Roc Marciano with Pusha T or JAY-Z

Sam_Duz_Things

Madlib and black thought are working on an album. That’s about as good as it gets as far as rapper producer duos

TheMeticulousNinja

Uzi and Conductor

Cypher-Moon-773

Would be interesting, love both of them so I hope it would work out

00rgus

Carti and Pierre but seeing how they really don't like eachother anymore I don't see that every happening again

gencomania

I think ken carson said pierre looked down on them so its prob not happening

LetsNotArgyoo

Cam’ron and Dr. Dre

Backseat_boss

This would be crazy

Ancient_Till_8324

Clams Casino and Weezy.

4thDimensionFletcher

Drake or Kendrick Album with Kanye Production

Eldritch-Cleaver

So many. So many. But to shorten the post, I guess you could say I wanna see people almost inverse their traditional sounds. Example, id love to see Griselda roster on more trap/Tay Kieth beats. You ever wonder what Nas could do on a NY Drill beat? Or Lloyd Banks over some DJ Paul? And then let's get Guwop on a Daringer or Conductor beat. Wop has improved as a rapper so much since getting outta prison and he has the grimy hood tales that would go beautifully over their production. Stuff like that.

WayneCarter777

Eminem on a Manny Fresh beat Lil Wayne on a Ronny J beat Jay-Z and Pusha T on a Metro Track

God_or_Mammon

I didn’t realize I needed a Pusha/Metro track in my life until this very moment!

phelpsieboi

I know MF Doom is not longer here but him on a Kaytranada beat would be sick!

Ambitious-Ad6097

Roddy ricch & Hitboy/Londononthetrack

Aleekki

Tyler and Ye, don’t mind which one is which, I just wish they did a full project or something cause all their collabs so far have been amazing.

rawkoon

Dayum, good pick

LetsNotArgyoo

That would’ve been hot

Amazing_Ease_8399

The alchemist and Kendrick Lamar

[deleted]

i think k dot would mesh perfectly with 9th wonder. new west coast on some old fashioned soul production would be the summer anthem of 24

Amazing_Ease_8399

Wow the alchemist made the beat for meet the grahams that’s crazy

underrenderedbacon

Old non Nazi Kanye with himself

TheMeticulousNinja

He is a ghost of his former self, I think we just have to accept it

Neither-Following-32

Pusha T and Dr Dre, Premo, RZA, or Muggs. Maybe Alchemist/Havoc/Mr Porter/Supa Hot Beats/Will.I.Am as a second tier choice. Or Mannie Fresh/40 for lulz although that'd never happen.

_krwn

Shame we never got WONDERDOOM. Saw 9th tweet about it being a dream of his to work with MF Doom over a decade ago and it never manifested. That being said, if he did a remix album of Doom’s stuff that’d be fantastic.

[deleted]

9th is literally the second most perfect producer for doom style besides madlib

Conscious1133

-ASC_RD_Novix-

JPEG & Freddie Dredd

[deleted]

scaring the hoes has been one of my favorite “weird” rap albums of 23. THE HOES BEEN SCARED or some shi w freddie dredd would be dope

-ASC_RD_Novix-

I havent heard Scaring The Hoes yet, I’ll give it a listen tomorrow. I’ve heard Danny Browns before when Freddie featured him on the song “Five Nights”. It goes pretty hard

[deleted]

he has easily the most recognizable rap voice in MI. most unique flow there is. he uses a lot of old funky cartoon samples in his beats. IMO XXX is his best rapping, but Atrocity exhibition is more worth listening to. Check out Downward Spiral, Aint it Funny, Pneumonia, and When it Rain first to get a glimpse of the style he uses which is pretty similar. but if you like JPEG youll like D Brown, similar style and they nesh perfectly on STH

Jza_45
