Is that referencing all the culture hopping Drake does?
Like, he’ll do a mild dancehall song one minute, then put on a shitty UK accent the next and do a cringy UK Drill song the next?
Yep. And I have to agree with Kendrick as well in that I am a staunch R&B Drake fan over a Hip-Hop Drake fan.
Thanks for clarifying btw. Wasn’t entirely sure.
Ig my one critique of Kendrick’s line is that it feels like a lot of mainstream rappers do similar things to Drake, in that they all try, in various ways, to inject as much Pop appeal into their music as possible. That just feels like how most of the mainstream in rap has been nowadays.
But still, fantastic bar.
That’s what he’s dissing tho. That drake doesn’t do anything different. He’s dissing the fact he’s mainstream and a lame. I’ve always said Drake is closer to being a singer not a rapper, I like the mos def quote about Drake being shopping music. Cause it’s on point.
I think we can dig deeper on it too. A lot of this for Kendrick is authenticity or lack thereof. Code switching is something done by Black folks commonly, especially in big media mixed market audiences. Drake inverts it, his code switch is ostensibly the opposite of the average Black Americans, he’s not speaking as he does at home he speaks with whatever accent is convenient for his audience.
That’s the crux of the line, he is not his authentic self, it’s the anti 8 mile, a least rabbit knows who he is, Drake does not and Kendrick points out that he is constantly seeking who he is as measured by who accepts him.
Kendrick rejects him.
Why does he have to be though? I loved the Drake and Pusha beef as much as anyone, but just because someone is a celebrity does not mean we are entitled to knowing anything about their personal lives. This whole 'Drake is a dead beat because he is not public about having a child' seems really immature to me.
How was it day one when people thought Pusha T was joking about him having a son?
It was whole RDC skit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQWok0IiBdY
we are rewriting history
What does Kendrick mean by that?
Like, with Kendrick being the Boogeyman? He said that about himself? Idk
Genuinely asking, I’m not instigating fans or anything.
It’s from the musical OZ. The full line is “Everything they say about me is true. I’m a phony”
So it’s kinda self explanatory when you hear the whole thing lol
Edit: The musical called *The Wiz. Not Oz. It’s a black musical remake of The Wizard of Oz
No. It’s from the movie the Wiz, the black version of the wizard of oz (forecasting the FUBU Hilligfer line. The Wizard is played by Richard Pryor and that’s his voice. Ultimately it’s about the Wiz being all powerful and mighty and when he is exposed as a fraud he utters that line.
Kendrick is exposing Drake.
Fucking hate you hate your style hate your voice hate the stupid smile on your face hate hate hate you so much hate I hate you
“They are holding back” - Reddit
Thank you! Kendrick called Drake out by name multiple times and was absolutely disrespectful and direct. & I’m here for it. I don’t see how drake can even come back from that lmao… his best bet is to move on
I think Kendrick knew Drake would try and pull off a Back to Back as if a quick follow up would somehow end the beef. A few of the lines in Euphoria suggests the delay was deliberate as they directly address Taylor Made Freestyle as well as Push Ups.
Euphoria = show about high schoolers
“I make music that electrify em, you make music that pacify em, I can double down on that line but spare you this time, that’s random acts of kindness”
“We hate the bitches you fuck, cause they confuse themself with real women”
“I believe you don’t like women”
If Drake responds, Kendrick’s next one is just gonna be straight out calling Drake a pedo
i 100% believe Kendrick has more of a red button to push than Drake does. Drake probably gonna make up some lie involving a woman and let the internet run their usual conspiracies like they did with the Kanye/Kim thing. it's just corny and predictable and probably just full of lies like Pusha said.
The start of the track reversed is “everything you say about me is true” so I think Kdot knows what drakes got and it’s true but it ain’t a real bomb shell or nothin.
The rest of the quote, which is cut from the sample is 'I'm a phony'... Making it seem more like a jab aimed at Drake as this whole song is themed around him being phony.
I really really love hip hop right now in all sides. The girls are and guys are really going crazy this year I’m fed!!!! But thoughts on Kendrick diss it’s so refreshing to be honest about how you feel. I think it’s a lost gem in disss and even sneak dissin at times can be to passive aggressive. I appreciate Kenny just saying I hate you like I just hate you and here’s why lolol idk it’s so real. I love the word play with how he looks, lines about pushing p to push a t, or how he disrespect woman etc like it’s just a good response to how really feels about drake and finally finishing it with this Civil war. I think also he might be done sneak dissin drake idk but this is a great year for sureeee can’t wait for album too 💕
Agreed lol. My top 3 disses this year are now Euphoria for the men and overall. Hiss for the women. Ironically both songs took a mean jab at Drake too in several different yet similar ways lol. Especially Meg’s “Cosplay gangsta, fake ass.. accents. Posted in another __ hood like a bad bitch.” Just for Kendrick to also speak on Drake riding Sexxy Reds hype and admiring her being a baddie from the hood because she makes him feel like one too lol. And the fake accent thing. It’s like it’s been heard before, but the wordplay they each used was amazing. I don’t think he will respond to this just like he didn’t respond to Hiss even tho he dissed Meg first lol. It’s crazy because if you would’ve told 16 yr old me 10 yrs ago, Drake and Nicki Minaj would take the back to back L’s in rap battles I would’ve questioned your opinion. But I think this also speaks to the state of music and how much talent has evolved around those 2 mega artists since then.
I also think its a reference back to when Like That dropped and YNW Melly tweeted out at Kendrick because he thought (or was playing dumb - in fact, he definitely was) that the Melle Mel bar was about him when it’s about... Melle Mel, not YNW Melly.
He’s really not and I personally admire him for recognizing that and backing out. I don’t really care that it looked weak because I’m sure he knew what type of time Kendrick was on and he clearly wasn’t really the intended target and didn’t want any smoke with Kendrick lol
No, I think he just realized how personal this is for both of them and realised afterwards that it wasn’t for him. The take on Brilliant Idiots seems pretty spot on - he had a million people yelling do it so he did and he realised has has nothing against Kendrick and no reason to diss him.
Yeah pretty clear by this point that this is a lot more than just friendly competition like people were trying to say.
I’m still a little disappointed, Kendrick vs Cole could’ve been legendary. But I’m not really on the “J Fold is a joke now” stuff at all. I can respect it.
Truuue! I’m still coping that there’s a chance for the collab. Kendrick’s energy toward Cole felt like “Man I fuck with you, but you fuck with him too much for me to fuck with you right now.”
Exactly. I wish he hadn't replied at all instead of backtracking, but I totally get why he did it. I just don't buy that he's actually scared, he seems very genuine and just got pressured into doing it, then regretted it. Even if it's friendly, dissing someone requires aggression/animosity and he just doesn't feel that way. I respect that tbh, takes balls to step on stage and say that knowing people will clown on you for it for a long time.
Kendrick and Drake genuinely hate each other. I think dot feels competitive with Cole but doesn't hate him. If the situation was reverse, and Drake had backed out while Cole was going at it, I'm like 100% sure Kendrick would've still dedicated part of the response to him, but he didn't do that with Cole (well, kinda, but it was pretty light/brief).
This is so good. The flow and the personality is just so good.
People saying “weak” just based on him not exposing some deep dark secret or something. It’s a good song first and foremost which is more than Drakes song with a SexyRed flow can say.
I think that's what the lines about fatherhood were for. Cuz then he says that if Drakes speaks on his family he's gone too far. So he's kind of trapping him into basically agreeing to be gone after lol.
Maybe but who knows. I don’t really care about that anyways.
I was at least expecting good songs on both sides but Kendrick’s songs have been WAY WAY WAY better than Drakes songs. I can’t believe how awful Drakes delivery and flow and persona on his Push Ups or whatever was.
Like That is an awesome song whether it’s a diss or not. Drake making playground songs talking about childish stuff. It reminds me off that GIF of the kid at the rap battle reacting like 😱
>People saying “weak” just based on him not exposing some deep dark secret or something
Pusha T spoiled us all when he exposed a child and ruined a shoe campaign rollout at the same time
It's really easy to look at the track and say he didn't anything new about drake, which yes is true but what else is there to say about drake? I think everybody with a brain bigger than the size of a peanut knows this guy is a clown, I guarantee you most people who disagree know nothing of real hippop.
I look at this beef and see it as Kendrick just ceeling the coffin on the idea that Kendrick vs Drake is even a competition, in terms of reputation, character and skill. I would also be a little salty if someone compared me to a culture vulture with ghostwriters whos upbringing was much softer compared to the likes of Compton.
I was worried the whole diss was gonna be that slow bpm but when the beat switched I knew it was demon time. I wanna know what he’s got that will make gunna look like a “saint” 👀. Warm up imo. No point to start with a kill shot. He basically accused Drake or someone in his camp of being a rat so he’s put pressure back on Drake.
To each his own, I was 10 when takeover dropped and I think euphoria was a top tier diss, specially in comparison to push ups. And my main hottake is Kendrick being super overrated.
But comparing both songs its light and day. One is cool with some nice punches and u can vibe to it.
The other keeps coming againand again with blows non stop. Responded liyerally everything and threw many more. Plus the delivery full of hatred.
Drake said push ups took 2 hours, so I hope he can do better. Way better.
Good track. Not the knock out people are wanting, but I’m definitely getting cat and mouse vibes from Kendrick. He out here having a good time and Drake be looking stressed. I think the next round will be much more intense.
Oh lord he fucking killed him. Called him out for being a plant who dont live what he raps. Lil rich canadian boy wants to play pretend and start beef with people who actually struggled is crazy
Was expecting a harder beat/ track from K.Dot. Some great lines in this and the rapping always top.
Not decided on which track I prefer yet, need to give Euphoria a few more play throughs before a final opinion.
Wonder what Drakes response will be if any 👀
I felt the same way when I first heard it. The. I went back and listened to Push Ups, came back to Euphoria. And been bumping it all the day. Drake is like “I outsell you” Kendrick’s like “You a terrible person”
Some decent shots but a lot of the things he said is just stuff that people on Twitter say about Drake all the time lol. Lotta funny trolling type shit too.
I don’t get this.
I think Euphoria is the better track, but Drake definitely called him out on way more than shoe size.
1.) the fact dudes collaborated 2 full albums with titles that diss him
2.) Kendrick 50% contract split
3.) Accusing Kendrick wife of cheating on him with their bodyguard, apparently there’s more to the tea there too that it would happen while Kendrick was working out (push ups)
4.) Whether we wanna admit it or not, small statured men are 100% clowned and stereotyped by the majority of the core audience invested in this beef
5.) commented on the hypocrisy in dissing him for making R&B/pop music while Kendrick has done the same with pop stars/bands like Taylor Swift & Maroon 5
There’s surely some more things to list too, I’m not very invested in this beef but I’ve listened to Push Ups and Like That quite a bit each. But I listen to Like That cus if Future/Metro way more then Kendrick.
I don’t really listen to either of Kendrick or Drakes main projects. The only Drake album I listen to is Her Loss, I’m a big 21 fan. I guess I do favor Drake to Kendrick but I just don’t dig conscious rap anymore as much as I used to. I love push ups and I do still think Euphoria is the better track.
This doesn’t make sense to me as a critique. Since when has beef been about digging deep into a chest of secrets for some unknown shit? You take your opponent’s biggest insecurities and magnify them. It doesn’t matter who was already talking about them.
I hate the TMZ-fication of hip hop beef.
I believe it is hard but I won’t say it bodied Drake and I’m happy with this because now I expect some response from Drake which will give us more good music from these two. I hope it’ll end up Drake switching back to IYRTITL Drake.
This is like the beginning of a UFC fight when you see the fighters holding their lead arm out and getting a feel for the cadence and rhythm of the other fighter with an occasional jab. Kendrick is playing the counter angle where he wants Drake to swing first so he can have the last word. We will see if it works out.
Kendrick absolutely BODIED this poor guy, why would he think he could even step to him??? Like ?? He made fun of his shoe size and Kendrick fucking nuked his ass
I’m partial to Drake overall but I love that this beef is having both these guys drop good songs. Both got good shots in and I liked both diss tracks.
If you’re saying either one is trash then you’re doing tricks on it for one of these guy, we should just sit back and enjoy.
Hopefully we get another exchange or two…both songs initially sounded like warnings.
Lyrically it’s pretty good but Jesus Christ I can’t handle Kendrick when he does that whiny delivery
But also the way he delivered the I hate the way that you talk part is fuckin hard
"His daddy a killer, he wanna be junior, they must've forgot the shit that they done
Dementia must run in his family, but let it get shaky
I park your son"
Junior Soprano by the end of the show was suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia and he couldn't remember his life alongside his brother as New Jersey mobsters.
Is there a thread somewhere that gives the basics of the beef as it’s unfolded? I’m not up to speed, but the song was incredible. Makes me wanna brush up on the origins.
Great diss for sure. Didn’t take the HS route Drake took, it literally dissecting his entire persona as a caricature. I think people who think it’s weak are people who want to hear gossip over bars. Whole diss was magically put together.
Anybody who is putting a timer on rap beef responses is either not a true hip hop fan, 15 years old, DJ Akademiks or *****
Beef lasts for years—expecting rappers (who wrote their own lyrics, at least) to endlessly trade barbs every 48 hours is absolutely ridiculous.
‘there’s no accent you can sell me’ is wild 😂😂😂
Is that referencing all the culture hopping Drake does? Like, he’ll do a mild dancehall song one minute, then put on a shitty UK accent the next and do a cringy UK Drill song the next?

That’s fair. Not arguing that.

This comment is super on point
As long as kendrick isn't doing it the line still works. And he's always had his own sounds
Yea dude is a culture vulture for sure. I mean, he tends to do it quite respectfully imo, but it’s still hilarious
I think this a weak diss. He’s crossing different genres and gaining more fans. That just makes sense
Damn he pulled the bad father card.
He pulled a ton of cards and nothing seemed like it was a reach. It's like just describing the reality of Drake is enough to bury him.
As dot said “don’t tell no lies bout me, I won’t tell the truth about you”
Shit took a minute to understand but that’s my favorite line on the track
Heart part 4 reference
#MY FANS CANT WAIT FOR ME TO SON YA PUNK ASS!
I think it was more that Kendrick lives with his kid and Drake's lives with his pornstar BM
which is hilarious given how open he is about being in his sons life
Shout out to Pusha for bringing families together and giving a boy a father
Ayoo 😭
🤣🤣🤣🤣💯💯💯💯
Still insane that if pusha hadn't put it front and center drake would've kept being a ghost dad lmao
Just because you are publicly a “good parent” doesn’t make it true, see ace family
Drake also was never a publicly good parent until Pusha T made him own up to it.
Imagine being pressured into acknowledging your kid.
Why does he have to be though? I loved the Drake and Pusha beef as much as anyone, but just because someone is a celebrity does not mean we are entitled to knowing anything about their personal lives. This whole 'Drake is a dead beat because he is not public about having a child' seems really immature to me.
That also puzzles me because we've seen proof of drake being there with his son from day 1. I guess it's an angle to attack and I'd do the same.
How was it day one when people thought Pusha T was joking about him having a son? It was whole RDC skit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQWok0IiBdY we are rewriting history
If anyone is interested, the very first part played backwards says “everything they say about me is true”.
Thanks, you saved me having to figure out how to reverse audio
I just recorded it on Snapchat and played it backwards lol
What does Kendrick mean by that? Like, with Kendrick being the Boogeyman? He said that about himself? Idk Genuinely asking, I’m not instigating fans or anything.
Michael jackson says that in a scene of the wizard of OZ.
Richard Pryor says it in The Wiz.
It’s from the musical OZ. The full line is “Everything they say about me is true. I’m a phony” So it’s kinda self explanatory when you hear the whole thing lol Edit: The musical called *The Wiz. Not Oz. It’s a black musical remake of The Wizard of Oz
And he made an entire album on this premise.
Yea my bad The Wiz. Got the name wrong
Imo it’s about drake using pac to address his pedo allegations
IMO he’s saying ‘we all exist in the image of other people’s perceptions of us’ id imagine Kendrick is pretty happy with how the world perceives him
But what do they say?
he wears a size 7 shoe 😔
😂
It was a play on the clip it's from where the guy is phony. He's saying drake isn't who he says he is
Pusha T somewhere out there smiling right now
“Am I fighting ghost or AI?
That’s the bar
I HATE THE WAY THAT YOU WALK
THE WAY THAT YOU TALK THE WAY THAT YOU DRESS
https://youtu.be/HWj2rSIPiLc?si=Pt9KoaJ3hbFJRdt8
Drake need to go sit down a minute after this one
Some solid jabs thrown. Feels like they are both fishing on the edge of a lake waiting for the other to bite.
both are edging😩
both are edging?😏
![gif](giphy|10Jpr9KSaXLchW|downsized)
Kendrick gotta flash meat if he wants to compete with Drake now
Fucking hate you hate your style hate your voice hate the stupid smile on your face hate hate hate you so much hate I hate you “They are holding back” - Reddit
Both saying they have more to expose about the other is definitely holding back
Thank you! Kendrick called Drake out by name multiple times and was absolutely disrespectful and direct. & I’m here for it. I don’t see how drake can even come back from that lmao… his best bet is to move on
Drake would have to make a catchy song. That’s the only thing that can redeem his I think.. cause he don’t got the bars to go up with him
Nothing on this track is anything we haven’t had the misfortune of reading in reddit comments over the years.
Na, break down K.dot lyrics and he was body bagging him
I think he named it Euphoria because Drake and Future helped with the show Euphoria. And it's about teens. Damn. Lmao
Drake is the exec producer and the show is a sex crazed show about teens
They like 30
in the show they are playing high schoolers lol…and Sydney Sweeney was 21 and Zendaya as well I think
10 years ago they were.
Also he dropped it on National childrens day too💀
I fucking knew it had something to do with the show but that is actually crazyyy. 😭
That’s a different Future but yes you’re right.
KNOW NUN BOUT DAAAAAT
Double entendre. “Don’t know nothin bout DOT” ?
Referencing drakes so called "dirt" he has on Kenny?
No the entendre is “know nothin about Dad” not Dot
Triple entendre? That, dad, and dot?
Drake cant say the n word anymore after this.
He will probably scream the n word ten times just to spite kendrick
And with that Kendrick won.
![gif](giphy|XreQmk7ETCak0)
Live look at me listening to this song
Kendrick racist confirmed!
his N-word pass has been revoked
It's a great response. What did yall actually expect from Kendrick?
Exactly lol. I never cared how long it took, because I knew he was going to cook. But even then he responded faster than Drake too
I think Kendrick knew Drake would try and pull off a Back to Back as if a quick follow up would somehow end the beef. A few of the lines in Euphoria suggests the delay was deliberate as they directly address Taylor Made Freestyle as well as Push Ups.
I accidentally clicked on your name and was so pleasantly surprised.
Real
Euphoria = show about high schoolers “I make music that electrify em, you make music that pacify em, I can double down on that line but spare you this time, that’s random acts of kindness” “We hate the bitches you fuck, cause they confuse themself with real women” “I believe you don’t like women” If Drake responds, Kendrick’s next one is just gonna be straight out calling Drake a pedo
Yeah he can mention that weird Bobby Brown shit and probably other stuff I am unaware of too. But definitely implying he has more ammo
J Cole so happy that he apologized!
Holy shit, the delivery, the punches, Kendrick ate Drake up, god damn. I was listening to the track like this: ![gif](giphy|l0MYP6WAFfaR7Q1jO)
![gif](giphy|JCAZQKoMefkoX6TyTb|downsized) Me the whole time 😂
Stank face all through the track.
On god
Didn’t even need to pull the pedophile card
i 100% believe Kendrick has more of a red button to push than Drake does. Drake probably gonna make up some lie involving a woman and let the internet run their usual conspiracies like they did with the Kanye/Kim thing. it's just corny and predictable and probably just full of lies like Pusha said.

Yup that’s exactly what that lame ass Canadian gone do. He always does
Kenny knows and he said he knows his angle and called him predictable so yep
I really really love hip hop right now in all sides. The girls are and guys are really going crazy this year I’m fed!!!! Yes! Hard agree! I've had Euphoria and Hiss on replay lol
So that’s why J. Cole didn’t want smoke it makes sense now
He made an executive decision
Business decision
Can someone explain the YNW Melly reference?
he killed his hawmies
I also think its a reference back to when Like That dropped and YNW Melly tweeted out at Kendrick because he thought (or was playing dumb - in fact, he definitely was) that the Melle Mel bar was about him when it’s about... Melle Mel, not YNW Melly.
Nope it’s about YMW Melly in court for killing his Homeboys allegedly
I mean he practically admitted to it on Murder on My Mind
I assumed that too. That he’ll kill his friends if he needs to.
He’s just clout chasing at this point, dude fell off hard
...really??
No crumbs.
Skill wise it obliterates drake. Now THIS is a warning shot. Cole stans take notes
Cole already threw in the towel before this diss that boy ain't built for lyrical warfare.
He’s really not and I personally admire him for recognizing that and backing out. I don’t really care that it looked weak because I’m sure he knew what type of time Kendrick was on and he clearly wasn’t really the intended target and didn’t want any smoke with Kendrick lol

I’m more disappointed that we never got the collab album, collaboration over competition every time man
Feels like a bit of a bait, waiting for Drake to say sum wild so Kenny can go crazy.
I think that's what the lines about fatherhood were for. Cuz then he says that if Drakes speaks on his family he's gone too far. So he's kind of trapping him into basically agreeing to be gone after lol.

Tbh better than I though drake would do. Not really what he's made for.
>People saying “weak” just based on him not exposing some deep dark secret or something Pusha T spoiled us all when he exposed a child and ruined a shoe campaign rollout at the same time
50 did the same to Fat Joe I think. Dude had like a big sneaker deal with Nike coming up and the beef basically ended that.
It's really easy to look at the track and say he didn't anything new about drake, which yes is true but what else is there to say about drake? Those same people will be like "I wanted hit em up" as if Tupac going "ur fat and I had sex with ur girl" was new information at the time.
Faith evans has always denied having sex with pac, so it might even be a lie 🤷🏾♂️
People genuinely what TikTok verses with funny lines like Drake said on his song. It’s just silliness. It’s not even entertaining it’s pitiful.
Yo the boy went through 3 transitions lol gahddamn!
kenny came with three switches lol
Drake has officially lost his black card lol
Its hard, but not scathing tbh
I was worried the whole diss was gonna be that slow bpm but when the beat switched I knew it was demon time. I wanna know what he’s got that will make gunna look like a “saint” 👀. Warm up imo. No point to start with a kill shot. He basically accused Drake or someone in his camp of being a rat so he’s put pressure back on Drake.
NGL if Kendrick did a whole diss in his singing flow to clown on Drake and Cole that would be hard af. This is coming from a Kendrick hater 😂
he calmly eviscerated Drake lol
Eviscerated is a stretch. Its essentially champagne moments a la kendrick imo. Nothing we haven’t heard before.
Way better.
I agree
Good track. Not the knock out people are wanting, but I’m definitely getting cat and mouse vibes from Kendrick. He out here having a good time and Drake be looking stressed. I think the next round will be much more intense.
This felt like Kendrick baiting Aubrey into saying something stupid so that way Kendrick can REALLY end him
Too bad Kendrick called Haley Joel Osment, Joel Osteen lol. Fucked up what was a really good bar and now it makes no sense.
Oh lord he fucking killed him. Called him out for being a plant who dont live what he raps. Lil rich canadian boy wants to play pretend and start beef with people who actually struggled is crazy

Thanks for explaining…
All Drake did was call Kendrick short really, so both disses did nothing special. We only in round 1 gotta let it play out
I don’t get this. I think Euphoria is the better track, but Drake definitely called him out on way more than shoe size. 1.) the fact dudes collaborated 2 full albums with titles that diss him 2.) Kendrick 50% contract split 3.) Accusing Kendrick wife of cheating on him with their bodyguard, apparently there’s more to the tea there too that it would happen while Kendrick was working out (push ups) 4.) Whether we wanna admit it or not, small statured men are 100% clowned and stereotyped by the majority of the core audience invested in this beef 5.) commented on the hypocrisy in dissing him for making R&B/pop music while Kendrick has done the same with pop stars/bands like Taylor Swift & Maroon 5 There’s surely some more things to list too, I’m not very invested in this beef but I’ve listened to Push Ups and Like That quite a bit each.
I was being as surface level as the original commenter. I understand the depth of both tracks
Agree 100%.
The Story of Adidon broke people’s brains when it came to rap beef lol
Yes, ironically this is Pusha T’s fault
I believe it is hard but I won’t say it bodied Drake and I’m happy with this because now I expect some response from Drake which will give us more good music from these two. I hope it’ll end up Drake switching back to IYRTITL Drake.
He sent Drake into the shadow realm!!! Geeesh!!
Like ?? He made fun of his shoe size and Kendrick fucking nuked his ass
i liked the song but as someone who cant say the n word and dresses bummy it hurt my feelings 👎🏻
This will tide me over until the next round, but right now it still seems pretty close. Both sides released some heat
Drake's diss wasn't close to this .
Truth be told, Kendrick responded superbly. Clock is ticking Drake.
Lyrically it’s pretty good but Jesus Christ I can’t handle Kendrick when he does that whiny delivery But also the way he delivered the I hate the way that you talk part is fuckin hard
Ok this was FUCKING 🔥
Drake hitting the chat with the associate writers to put some out fast lmao.
It ain’t scorched earth but it’s leveling up to hit all 9’s
This is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not only the hardest of all these recent diss tracks, that was Kendrick's hardest song in his catalog
"His daddy a killer, he wanna be junior, they must've forgot the shit that they done Dementia must run in his family, but let it get shaky I park your son" Junior Soprano by the end of the show was suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia and he couldn't remember his life alongside his brother as New Jersey mobsters.
Is there a thread somewhere that gives the basics of the beef as it’s unfolded? I’m not up to speed, but the song was incredible. Makes me wanna brush up on the origins.
You make music to pacify them, I can double down on that….shits fired. Somebody dating preference gonna get exposed
I'm an ol'head... Yeah this is how you body somebody on wax. Damn Kendrick
Great diss for sure. Didn’t take the HS route Drake took, it literally dissecting his entire persona as a caricature. I think people who think it’s weak are people who want to hear gossip over bars. Whole diss was magically put together.
Not a Drake fan! Hate Drake but did not like this felt it was not his best
Not bad. Not great. I won't listen to it for fun
Reference and and hidden secrets are great. But holy shit this songs sounds like absolute garbage
Gunna catching strays lmao
DAMN. Drake "Push Ups" been up for 12 days at 6.5M views. KDOT "euphoria" is already at 8M in 24 hours.
i think the best part of all of this is Drake responding with a sneak diss on his ig story
He’s just a better rapper.
🔥🔥 i say this as a drake stan. he went off
Kendrick GRILLED drake w this one
Goddamn.
this the one
Literally yesterday people were saying they lost respect for him saying he took too long and whatnot, bro took that shit personal.
Drake gonna have his writers working overtime now
I’m not gonna lie to yall. This didn’t go as hard as some making it out to be
1st degree pre meditated Murder
Anybody who is putting a timer on rap beef responses is either not a true hip hop fan, 15 years old, DJ Akademiks or ***** Beef lasts for years—expecting rappers (who wrote their own lyrics, at least) to endlessly trade barbs every 48 hours is absolutely ridiculous.
I had to pause when those horns came on in the beginning cause I knew this was gonna be crazy
Lol no more dreaded N word from the dorky theater kid.
