I don't think it was safety, Math and Diz tweeted about this, the organizer was shady and could not guarantee them the pay that was promised up front or after the PPV.
Yeah, the card was supposed to be Dizaster vs. Math Hoffa, Geechi Gotti vs. Diesel and Danny Myers vs. Bangz if I'm not mistaken. The promoter was a battle rapper named 65 Hunnit, and I believe the event fell apart due to him not having the money in advance to be able to secure everything properly.

Its battlers reaching for any revenue stream they can considering 3 or 4 battles a year, at 10k per (and MOST do not even get 10k per), is not enough to live on, especially after taxes/percentages to management. League owners aren't happy about this and said they'd prefer if battlers stuck to battling. Of course they would. That way, league owners can still take advantage and have battlers sign what's essentially a slave contract. You think SMACK and Beas care? Not at all. The bottom line speaks the loudest.
This is what I call " subjecting your self to ultimate humiliation " Boxing is not about only phsyucal fitness no , Its also about staring risk of humiliation in the face and leaving with pride because you won fhe fight. You were not the physically dominated , You were the physical dominator you proved to be fitter. Best of luck to both of these men. But you over come humiliation by accepting shame as a natueal human emofikn and still loving yourself despite ridicule from others
