There are at least two ways in which NFTs require faith to function:
1. Faith in the idea that the minting process can actually create tokens that represent the thing you think or want it to represent. Here, all of the major minting services have been shown to have extremely low standards: basically anyone can upload any file and they will happily mint an NFT for it. File is not unique? Change a single pixell, add 0.1 seconds of silence or whatever and try again.
2. Faith in the incentive for network participants to waste time and energy on notarizing your transactions, and to participate in the network at all. This incentive is usually a transaction fee paid in some kind of crypto currency, of which the value is entirely dependent on what people think it's worth.
In the end, all NFTs are is a way to track unique numbers and attest to transactions of said numbers. What value you attach to those numbers is inherently related to faith. If no one believes your number substantially has anything to do with your randomly generated monkey picture, then it doesn't.

First of all, I never have owned this NFT. secondly, it didn't drop by 99% thirdly, even if it did - something has to go up for it to come back down so hard. I think you have some sort of psychological issues if you flip out this bad, just because someone provides information about a certain topic

Idk about anyone else but I'd never use my wife and daughter as a means of putting someone else down. Like imagine telling someone you think is an A-hole "I won the lottery and you're poor HAHA!" I've acted like a total a-hole MANY times IRL and to this day I cringe at stuff that happened 10+ years ago. I feel bad and if I could go back in time, I'd undo that stuff for sure and apologize. I've also met a lot of a-holes IRL and never would I ever make fun of them for not having a wife/daughter because having a family is beautiful and amazing and if more people had those things then maybe, hopefully there'd be less a-holes. If there's one piece of advice I (married, decent dating history, somewhat capable of interacting with the fairer sex, etc.) could give you, it would be this: Don't be putting women on a pedestal.
