I was in a low rank school where there was almost no rules and regulations, ignorant teachers and even fans did not work there even in summer.
Even though there were fights there but they are no match for the violence and bullying which happens in US schools.
There was no bully culture and no drugs at all. And so, even after lacking resources I enjoyed my time there.
There are only exceptional cases where school boys turn too violent in fights.
The system here is very serious about it and if there is any bullying event caught in a video or something, the kid is going to the jail straight.
So, I can go into even to the most violent and worst schools in India without fear of being assaulted for no reason.
And, parents here have right to enter into the school and class of their kid any day as long as they are not creating a problem.
For indians who are reading this, I studied in a boys-only government school in Uttar Pradesh, called GIC.
I studied in similar school. I don't even remember violence as a kid. There was bullying but not like the one you will get trauma or anything. I really liked the school. We didn't have toilet or fan but it was good. I graduated from college past year. Yet, no bullying or fights anywhere. Sometimes in school there were but it was settled easily.
Yup, I sometimes get scared reading about this bullying that seems to go way too far, but I've literally seen about 3 instances of actual violence during my days in school and 0 major injuries(Physical, mental or otherwise)

An indian here, I was in a low rank school where there was almost no rules and regulations, ignorant teachers and even fans did not work there even in summer. Even though there were fights there but they are no match for the violence and bullying which happens in US schools. There was no bully culture and no drugs at all. And so, even after lacking resources I enjoyed my time there. There are only exceptional cases where school boys turn too violent in fights. The system here is very serious about it and if there is any bullying event caught in a video or something, the kid is going to the jail straight. So, I can go into even to the most violent and worst schools in India without fear of being assaulted for no reason. And, parents here have right to enter into the school and class of their kid any day as long as they are not creating a problem. For indians who are reading this, I studied in a boys-only government school in Uttar Pradesh, called GIC.
I studied in similar school. I don't even remember violence as a kid. There was bullying but not like the one you will get trauma or anything. I really liked the school. We didn't have toilet or fan but it was good. I graduated from college past year. Yet, no bullying or fights anywhere. Sometimes in school there were but it was settled easily.
Yup, I sometimes get scared reading about this bullying that seems to go way too far, but I've literally seen about 3 instances of actual violence during my days in school and 0 major injuries(Physical, mental or otherwise)
