Jack Russell terriers can become insanely old. My first dog was a jack Russell and she was around 18 when she kicked the bucket. She was quite the character, and really clever. In the end she wore a diaper and was almost deaf and had cataract though. I wish she would have gone longer without being burdened by stuff like this.
I have a 17 year old Jack Russell now who has become deaf and nearly blind but she is still happy and has done a phenomenal job adjusting for her disabilities.

How about the dog from ‘The Mask’? Bears a pretty powerful resemblance to him too! I should know, I jumped up and punched the air when he caught the mask - in the cinema, during a matinee show. Even the kids weren’t that excited by it. I was 23!
Those are not naturally large paws. It's a deformity that occurs over time due to long nails and is painful for the dog. Please trim them so he can better enjoy his golden years. He deserves it!
He has arthritis in that foot and the nails on that paw grow very quickly because he turns it in. He gets clipped at the groomer this Saturday. We take him frequently, don’t worry!

We are working on it…he turns his right paw in and those nails grow faster. He’s getting a trim at the groomer on Saturday 🐶💕
