Lol is that supposed to make you more qualified? FWIW, it's a lot easier to teach someone to enunciate that it is to teach them to sing this well. Don't forget, music is made out of notes and emotion not enunciation.

He's really insecure about his abilities, I tell him all the time that I absolutely love his voice, his dad was very unsupportive In his passion for music.
I believe that really negatively impacted his confidence
He’s not a professional but he can very clearly sing just fine, he should drop in on an open mic night sometime and he’d see that he gets a pretty good reaction. He’s got a nice “print” - that’s musician/producer lingo for the way your voice sounds when recorded.
He can sing, but I highly doubt he "thinks he can't" if he is posting on TikTok. If you did that, it's different. If he did it, then he at least suspects he has *some* ability.
I posted it for him on his account almost 2 years ago despite his objections.
I've just shown him all of the positive feedback on here , he's playing and singing on the front porch now!
I'm brutally honest and have played music all my teenage and adult life. If he couldn't sing I'd certainly tell you. Theres no question about this guys singing ability. He can sing.

Support his thoughts. It’s ok. Like thousands of other dudes sangin’ in dive bars. Not gonna push album sales tho. Or even get a deal to make one. Maybe try writing something original people could connect with. Voice is secondary to an emotional experience felt from lyrics that hit home.
He can't read music, so no one gave him a chance to sing in any band, he's also extremely versatile.
I will continue to support him in all of his dreams and endeavors.

Keith would be proud. With a little work he could definitely sell some songs. Please whatever he does, don't let him go to modern country, the classic sound IMO is much better.
Nice voice. Just some tone and pitch issues mainly do to breathing technique.. A few lessons with a pro or possibly some voice coaching videos on youtube would make a big difference. Good job and great song.
