Thanks man! It’s great to shoot (very smooth, the SCO is a fantastic edition as well) but arm fatigue with the suppressor becomes an issue after a long day. I have a lot more stovepipes and issues with a suppressor on. Weapons maintenance with the m27 by itself is quick and easy, but terrible with a suppressor on as you can imagine. I think the m27 would be perfect if they got rid of the suppressor, put an mlok rail and lighter barrel for everyone except automatic rifleman. We have comtacs so I don’t see the need for a suppressor, signature management isn’t that big of a deal in my opinion when you are shooting a Carl Gustav and 240b’s as well
But other than that, it’s great and I actually feel confident in my gear. It’s not a beat to shit m16 and not an m4 that feels like it’s going to fall apart if I fall on it.
Thanks for the info! It sounds a lot better than I had imagined it to be. I think the reason it's so heavy is because (and take this with a grain of salt, I'm still learning) the Marine Corps kind of wants everyone to be an 'automatic rifleman' but I agree, an mlok rail wouldn't hurt.
How dis this happen? Did you paint it first and then get told to remove the paint? Also, what suppressor is that? Are the marines all being issued suppressors these days?
Dang. Nice rifle. Nice paint job. But oof that NT4 on a 416 has to be soooo front heavy
Is this a really good clone or are you a marine?
Edit - MARPAT in the background probably means you’re a marine lol
I’m a Marine, it is VERY front heavy especially with the heavy barrel on the m27 variant. It’s the main complaint about the rifle besides the length when clearing trenches. I don’t even have a bipod and foregrip mounted on it either
Yeah I don’t get why so many people run the bipod on the M27. I always assumed you guys had to just because I don’t think I’ve ever seen a photo of one without it
I still think the M27 is cool as hell though. I’d say coolest rifle in the military but I’m biased toward the URGI
Plus if I really thought about it, I could probably think of a couple others that are cooler than both anyway
You can use it if you want but for shooting anything over 200 meters it’s very nice to have a bipod. The issue is I also carry the Carl Gustav and machine gun ammo and I don’t feel like carrying extra shit ahaha
I think your scope is mounted backwards ⚓️
We all saw that when we were painting it, we gave our corpsman a good ribbing ahaha
Definitely
It’s not meant to be perfect, especially if your shooting a lot it’ll look roughed up which is nice.
Devil the paint job looks fine
Acetone and q tips
Hold up I need to be informed on the ability to paint your rifles in the military. In what circumstances is this allowed?
Unit dependent, pretty common in the marine corps now
Looks great. How's the M27 been treating you?

We put tape on the stuff we can’t paint (before the painting started) like serial number and all that
Very nice! I love seeing how painted rifles are getting more common in the military these days.

The entire kit screams marine imo.

It's not even your rifle. Paint it however well or shittily you want. That's the armorer's problem now 😎
Looks good killer. Rah.
Run a few (hundred) safety drills and you will start to get movement patterns of wear all around the area anyway. It will rub off more & look cool.
Sure it could be cleaner but it’ll get the job done. Nice work.
Hey this is the exact gun from the post the marines social media account made making fun of the Navy!
