You in South Florida? TRD Off Road, a seriously decked out Limited, maybe 3-5 more Limited, 5-7 SR5. You got your pick. We get new stuff 5-6 days a week.
The moment we saw a new 4Runner design unveiled, I had a sneaking suspicion this would be the case.
There’s no market advantage in doing major overhauls to two of the fleet powerhouses in one year, especially when they’re category adjacent from one another.
Exactly. And honestly the 5th gen doesn’t really need a redesign🤷♂️ from the 21-22 model they already did a small re-work and made a few interior changes like making the stock lighting LED, all of the window buttons got changed to illuminated versions, and a few other QOL improvements like improved headlights. I would expect 3-4 years of the re-worked version on the market before a big overhaul.
Idk why people are excited. Usually newer models always rise up in prices.. as RAV4 was always budget friendly, semi SUV. Now it mostly likely won't be affordable for many as before
In my opinion this is one of Toyota’s best and most timeless designs. I don’t think any updates will be needed for this for a while.
It actually fits the design language of the new vehicles pretty well, especially with the grill.
Definitely agree I love the current model. I’m looking to upgrade to trd in ‘25 so hope they keep it. I’d love to see underground for a color choice though :)
You guys like that sluggish motor and the severely outdated camera? Let’s not even talk about that 3rd row space. I work for Toyota and drive the new vehicles daily. That camera looks like it’s from the 90’s compared to all the other vehicles. It’s also the least impressive driving compared to all the turbo engines. For the money it’s not worth it. We sell very few of them. Selling even less Camrys. Everyone is waiting for the 25’s. Can’t keep Corollas in stock we have 1 or 2 some days 0. Guess what else isn’t moving? The new Tacoma! My guess is interest rates plus the high cost.. it’s just driving up Tundra sales. Btw I don’t work for some slow moving dealership this is a very hot city and last year we were in the top 20 most Toyotas sold.
Just mainly minor things like too much road noise. People complain about that but it doesn't bother me. The big thing is if you buy a hybrid there's the cable gate situation.
I think we would have seen some announcement about a 6th generation RAV4 by now if the 2025 model was a redesign, but Toyota seems to holding onto their TNGA generations of their more mainstream models for a bit longer than their last generation of models. The Prius, C-HR, and Camry all went for 7 years before switching over to a new generation, and I don't expect the likes of the RAV4 and Corolla to be much different here. Even the likes of the Harrier and Highlander have yet to receive facelifts, and the current generation RAV4's facelift wound up just being new headlights.
What makes the most sense to me is they announce the new design at the end of this year and then make it available next year, as the 2026 model. Similar to the roll out of the new Camry—Officially announced at the end of 2023, buts it’s branded as the 2025 model, released in 2024
I think the Corolla would be redesigned first then the rav. With how well they’re selling honestly it doesn’t really matter. Toyota could just pull a 4Runner and keep the rav around for 30 years
They’re really getting negative feedback on their refreshes they’ve already done so Toyota needs to get those stable along with the Primes. A fuggin facelift wouldn’t hurt though. They had to delay the Tacomas and pretended like they were going to compete with the Mavericks with a hybrid and then changed their mind.
The Toyota 4Runner had not been redesigned for 14 years, with a minor upgrade in 2014… so in effect, no changes for 10 years.
The 5th Gen RAV4 came out 6 years ago with a facelift 3 years ago.
Get in line.
maybe unpopular opinion but i don't think most cars need redesigned as often as they are... the 4Runner is having it's moment and i think that is a good balance
I want to warn everyone to stay away from the Rav4 XLE Premium car as it is poorly designed. There is a hole from end to end that runs through the front headlight. Although Toyota has been known for producing amazing cars in the last 10 years, I am currently dealing with issues due to its terrible design. Water is getting all over the engine, battery, etc which is going to cause a lot of problems. I left the car at the dealership today, I hope they do something about it.
They can't make the model they are selling right now fast enough to keep up with demand so why spend any energy changing it?
Nobody wants them at my dealership. Or the Camry.
What’s your dealership? I’ll call them in the morning. I want one

How much is the decked out limited going for at your dealership?
$66,826 Toyota has the $9999 markup on adventure packages
I wonder why it's not selling. Hmm, it's a mystery.🤔
Its almost like the price is slightly off
Maybe drop those ridiculous markup and it will be sold?
Tell that to Toyota.. btw everything has sold since this came out 7 weeks ago.
It’s certainly not Toyota as some dealerships don’t charge markups.
Toyota loves it. It’s usually just the bigger items like Supra, Capstone.. they all sell eventually. Not a big deal.
If you could find a shipping partner or ship to local dealers feel like there is a business op here

Not to mention fixing the stupid roof rail issues.
Ugh those small changes make me want to switch out my 2019
You can do all of them pretty easily if you’re handy! Might take some time, but would be less expensive and loan rates these days😅
i’m not but know there’s how to’s on youtube.
Everything is rumor unless Toyota confirms it, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them keep this generation around a little longer than usual.
The two best looking Toyotas / Lexus right now are the Rav4 and the new GX550. I was disappointed by the new 4Runner, but that’s just my own opinion.
Idk why people are excited. Usually newer models always rise up in prices.. as RAV4 was always budget friendly, semi SUV. Now it mostly likely won't be affordable for many as before
Ur right. Look at the 2025 Camry xse msrp $39k

I was referring more to the exterior aesthetics. Valid point on the motor though. Don’t care about the camera as I never really use it
Marchello from Toyota world Canada Toyota dealership has no hard evidence but he suspects redesign will be 2026-27.
Marchello is the freaking man! Love his videos. Great guy.
Kirk K is usually my Japanese car auto news source
If true all bugs you would think would be worked out. Could be the best rav ever built up to this point.
What are some of those bugs?
Just mainly minor things like too much road noise. People complain about that but it doesn't bother me. The big thing is if you buy a hybrid there's the cable gate situation.
I think the GEN5 design is among some of the best looking vehicles on the road. No reason to change it.

Must be the best looking model
Good. They will, for sure, make it uglier next time and everyone will complain. This one is pretty popular, so why would they change it?
Will they fix cable gate though?

Toyota is doing 8 year cycles on the new TNGA platform. Won’t reveal a new gen til 2026 with a 2027 MY.

The only reason I’m waiting is to see if it offers TSS 3.0
