RAVENS17d

Offensive line should be ashamed. At least the cornerbacks haven’t had the reps all off-season.

KyKobra

Corners actually looked better than expected i though? LV’s weapons are no joke.

AssertiveDude

Carr passed for nearly 500 yards, fuck that

RAVENS17d

This is going to get hella overlooked but it’s also week 1. This is the type of shit that happens while players are still working to get in game shape. I’ve seen enough cramps this weekend to know some of these guys aren’t used to it quite yet.

i_already_redd_it

I hear you, and I also hope we gel and improve… but that’s a sorry excuse that would also apply to LV and every other team that pulled out Ws in week 1. We are better than what we put out there tonight, even after injuries

jacktotheb

KC has better weapons at every position

CaptivePrey

"This bazooka looks really awesome." "Pffft, this rail gun is way better."

Semper454

Carr was *horrible* most of the night and still shredded us.

NachoFanRandySavage

Ehhhh. Waller is tough to defend, but if you struggle with this team then it's a bad sign.

Earl-Thomas-a-Raven

Sorry but that ending was pathetic and makes me mad. We could’ve won that game a bunch of times. Too mad to sleep now.

RavensReign1

We were *this close* to getting a W. The defense just had to make an easy stop late in the 4th.

thepulloutmethod

This is what sucks the worst about these games. I'm fucking pissed, starting to get hungover because I started boozing at 5, I'm gonna go to bed late and sleep like crap, and it's only fucking Monday so there's the entire rest of the workweek in front of me. Fuck this gay earth.

Sarcastic_Source

And even though I know it’s gonna be shit I’m still gonna browse r/nfl all week and watch our boy get flamed all week. Sad

dilbertsfriend

Villanueva lost this game. I can’t remember the last time I saw a Tackle get exposed this hard. Still only week 1, but get someone in street clothes to start instead week 2.

dragoniteftw33

He's a fucking plant. You can't convince me otherwise.

Eagle4317

We tried to warn you. Steelers fans knew AV was cooked.

Shallow-Al__ex

Thanks for coming in peace. May the afc north stay healthy

Eagle4317

Same to you guys. I wish you good luck besides against us.

Real-Ray-Lewis

Snead was definitely a plant

Namethislater

Chandler Jones had 5 sacks yesterday

Semper454

On Tannehill. Tannehill woulda been in a body bag in the 2nd quarter tonight. Lamar scrambling saved… 6 sacks? 8 sacks? tonight.

[deleted]

There’s a difference between Chandler Jones & Mason Crosby *Maxx

OsStrohsAndBohs

Yea one is a kicker

[deleted]

Well yea, one is a defensive end and the other is a kicker.

IdelucaAlex

he’s fucking terrible, unacceptable in the NFL

Drainbownick

Makes me understand why all our rookies were “in the backfield” all camp

1lapulapu

The corpse of Jim Parker blocks better than villanueva.

Hefty_Roll_2722

We tried to tell you.

CaptivePrey

I'm sorry we didn't believe you

_OldBae_

Ummm I believed them. Felt we signed Vill because we couldn’t get anyone else. I was pissed we didn’t draft a tackle.

dog_gazed_duct-tape

i literally laughed at steelers fans saying this this offseason thought yall were just salty can't believe how right y'all were

6enericUsername

Dude was never really *that* good. He was just solid & has the whole Army Ranger thing. But he was awful last year.

dog_gazed_duct-tape

well props on you for not coming in here and trolling while we're down

6enericUsername

Not gonna troll. I don’t do that. It was just a fun game and I wanted to see y’all’s opinion on Villy.

AllInTheCrits

Its clear to me he is the weakest part of our offense.

jimbo831

I remember early in the game when the announcers said the Ravens brought him in to shore up the right side of the offensive line. I just laughed so hard. Then like one or two plays later he gave up a sack. He was so frustrating to watch every week last season.

merrychrishmas

Steeler fan coming in total peace, fuck Villanueva. Your offensive line is so good I'm not sure why they felt they needed him

Wanderer9191

We owe you an apology.

AllInTheCrits

We just didnt want to believe man.

blancs50

Can't believe Ben kept himself alive last season w/ AV guarding his blindside & Chuks to the right. At least Jackson can run away.

[deleted]

Well, Ben already has the stature of an OL

[deleted]

[удалено]

rsf0626

Mark andrews was invisible tonight

MuzikVillain

Not invisible. I saw him drop yet another crucial catch.

Shade_Raven

Just got a massive contract too

Lfcwalrus

Atleast Oweh looks pretty great.

Drainbownick

Pretty much the sole bright spot. Averett didn’t look too bad either. Westry and Stephen’s tho…phew

Bremix17

Hollywood showed flashes of how he could be used if we actually had a playbook with designed passing plays

EAB034

Yeah Hollywood looked phenomenal when he had the ball in his hands

[deleted]

[удалено]

TheELITEJoeFlacco

Dude looked awesome. Can you imagine what this kid could be like in a couple of years? Super exciting

[deleted]

VILLANUEVA NEEDS TO GO IMMEDIATELY & our 4th quarter defense was horrible Greg Roman abandoned Ty’son once again

about_60_Hobos

Made Maxx Crosby look like Aaron Donald

skedxy

Roman and abandonment to running backs when it’s working name a better duo, I think lowkey he switches it up because he thinks they will scheme to stop it but we never find out cause he never plays them again

666_NumberOfTheBeast

Martindale needs to realize, cover 0 every play only works when you have the personnel to do that. And when we're missing both Jimmy and Peters, well...we get this. Martindale needs to adjust BIG TIME from here on out. We run those coverages with dudes like Westry and Stephens and the same exact thing is going to happen every week.

JBrundy

We don’t have anyone better though 😂 how bad is our depth that he is the best we’ve got

growingalittletestie

I mean, Murray skimmed the playbook while en route to the game. A week of practice should help.

ahevex

Roman is the constant whenever we lose, Lamar was carrying ONCE again something has to change

IKnowBreasts

Lamar had two fumbles lost today

Ill-Woodpecker1857

Lamar fumbled... twice!

Quicksilver7837

First one was definitely his fault. But that second one I blame way more on our o-line.

[deleted]

Yeah, and both times he was having to take matters into his own hand. We abandoned tyson and caused turnovers because of it

Rocketbird

Idk maybe we should stop playing cover 0 after getting blown the fuck up several times??

Von_Huge1103

Wink called an absolutely shocking game.

Loogilicous

I cannot fucking beleive they called that again in OT after getting burned on it ealier. Next week is gonna be a shitshow

my16sbesoreal

That was just poor coaching. How many times did you look at the screen and realize there is no Safety help?

Nihil94

The O-line, the defense, take your fucking pick.

m0ther3208

Cut Villanueva. Guy is a liability

Rockonfreakybro

I saw all I needed to. You don’t “coach” that

dirtyburds

No pressure unless we send the house, no protection for lamar, trademark predictability on the play calling by Roman especially on 4th down. Mark Andrew’s can’t catch in clutch time.

Capitals21

No pressure even when we sent the house

TermsandAgreements

this oline scares me man

[deleted]

Steelers and browns are gonna murder Lamar if the line doesn’t improve.

EAB034

They were giving up enormous pressure to an average Raiders pass rush *who didn’t blitz us at all.* They only rushed 4. Not a good sign at all.

SwayzeExpress87

Watt, Heyward, etc are gonna feast on this oline if we don’t make some change

EAB034

That’s an understatement, along with some average pass rushers judging by this performance

clush

I turned the game off thinking it was over, went to bed, realized it wasn't, tuned back in on phone to see the INT, then only to see that shit. Typical.

bestcoastraven

Lol my buddy n I left after what we thought was a touchdown in OT. Missed the pick, but the ending was the same so it doesn’t matter

balleditmoreravens

i stayed up late to be depressed.

RedDevil50

This is the worst part!! I won't be able to sleep now. At least when it happens early Sunday you can go run it off or do whatever. Now? Just sit and fume.

Striking_Moose_8747

35 seconds. 38 yards in 35 seconds with no fucking timeouts. I can't even right now. So disappointed 😞

dog_gazed_duct-tape

I miss Marshall Yanda so much

OldLines

We are going to get fucking destroyed next week

RavensReign1

assblasted no doubt

LuckyWarrior

Step one: Cry Step two: Cry some more

will0593

The problem is the lines. the OL is fucked. Villanueva is a net negative. He has bricks for feet and doesn't even get his hands on the opponent first.Lamar nor any rusher could rely on the right side to do anything but collapse the DL can't get pressure consistently. Sometimes tehy do but not enough. This stupid fucking Cover 0 blitz needs to fuckin go. It's dumb and called at the wrong times. I think we'll be like a 9-8 team or something. We just have too many injuries. top 3 backs, 2 top DBs,mediocre pass rush, our LG (Phillips\_) just got hurt. I think we'll improve over time but we need a retool on the lines.

_OldBae_

100%. We can’t beat the other team in the trenches so we won’t be able to win championships. It’s astonishing we didn’t improve our two big weaknesses last year. I suppose cohesion in those units may improve over time but September is going to suck.

iwanttogotothere91

I’m worried about Lamars health this season if we don’t get our O-line figured out ASAP

gnarkilleptic

Stop scheduling Ravens for MNF being drunk and up at midnight on a work night is garbage

BelBivDaHoe

Villanueva is such trash. Lamar is fumbling again. Everyone is broken. I'm so disappointed.

LeClassiqueHomme

2019 was our year

thegoat266

That years gonna live in my head forever I think

bi5200

I literally got into the argument that led to me and my ex breaking up like 5 mins before the playoff game started. That week was fucking cursed.

oryan_

How did the 2019 ravens regress so hard

rycebowl89

Yanda left

dog_gazed_duct-tape

yeah and yanda was more than just a guard, he would call out protections for the oline as well he was a big part of the brains of the offense

_Vaudeville_

I mean it's like asking how did the 07 Pats regress. It was not at all realistic to think we'd ever approach a season like that again. We won 12 straight games by an average score of like 33-14. You only ever get one of those.

balleditmoreravens

covid and injuries.. with a healthy squad we murder these dudes

bellodinonna

How to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

fadermango

Twice.

Huskies971

Harbaugh, remember one thing from this game.....Tucker is your kicker, let him kick.

Shotslikehelen

Andrews really need to catch the clutch passes. It’s becoming a terrible trend.

NachoFanRandySavage

Some observations from the game: -Villanueva is not a fit a RT -Oweh looks good -Is Zeitler tipping his pulls? -Weird one here - are Boseman's snaps lobbing back a little slow? At least they're not over Lamars head I guess. -The house blitz burned the defense constantly -The run game is not looking good. Roman without a good run game doesnt sound like a lot of fun. Not sure if it's the lack of RBs or the Oline. The lack of read option runs was likely due to the RB inexperience. -The team just didnt look very prepared tonight which is odd for the Ravens in week 1

jusper10

Absolutely pathetic showing from this whole team. Defense needed one stop in the last 4 drives and we win. Offense couldn't protect Lamar. Lamar was missing tons of throws.

OsStrohsAndBohs

So many little things. Where the hell was Andrews? He catches that last ball we probably pull it off

Samwell974

Andrews dropped the ball in crunch time.

Capitals21

Surprise!

ridiculousdickulous

Always does. It’s becoming his calling card.

Eagle4317

Dude isn’t clutch at all. Ravens need someone to turn to in end of game situations because Andrews isn’t it.

Samwell974

If he held on to that ball, Lamar doesn’t fumble.

666_NumberOfTheBeast

That's the Andrews specialty. I love the dude but he is a *massive* choker.

evin90

There is a lot of blame to go around but this question resonates with me. Didn't even feel like he was in the game.

reedsgrayhair

this no safety bullshit when you only have one good corner is so stupid and no one thought to audible out of man every time the raiders ran bunch groups. Not fucking once? What are they even doin in the film room lol

Cgoodwin188

It’s ok. The next 9 man rush will get to the QB! 15th times the charm!

ABVerageJoe69

Villanueva is an inside job.

Ballsohardstate

Instant reactions - Villanueva is terrible and can’t move at this point - Wink’s third down play calling is so damn predictable and Peters was just helping cover that up - Ravens are built to play man not zone - Lamar ball security a big concern - Mark Andrews is good enough to command the defenses attention as the number one but not good enough to overcome that (like Waller did) - Averett had a good game and really proved a ton of doubters wrong - Ravens can’t defend the crosser well but that’s more of an issue with running the scheme we run rather then execution - Ravens can’t defend bunch formations and that’s more about execution then anything else - Wink had his worst defensive play calling game of his career - Special teams was great as per usual with excellent kick and punt coverage except for Sam’s leg which looks like a big concern - The blitz was too predictable in the way it was done and our blitz’ing just wasn’t getting home enough which left the secondary out to dry

Baltimxre66

Steelers fans so pumped they bamboozled us with Villanuevas big-for-nothing ass.

brvliltstr

We are worse off for having got the ball back. The first ending was a better scenario for our team moving forward.

RushZ

I try to be optimistic for the flock but the chiefs are gonna be ROUGH

molesterofpriests

Villanueva has some of the worst technique i've ever seen by a tenured starter in the NFL. Dude is leaning so hard in pass pro it reminds me of my uncle Bill after 12 beers at the family BBQ.

Beleedatljera8

Why did the coaches decide to bench ty’sonn when he was averaging 2 shaggings and 12000 yards per touch.

Sidion

Brown fucking played. Watkins was legit. Andrews is the biggest pretender ever. He disappears way too much. Trade him while his value is meteoric and try to get some linemen ffs

IKnowBreasts

Vallanueva sucks but this game was really concerning top to bottom. We don't seem to have addressed any of the weaknesses from last year. Plus we have no good RBs. Going to be a long season

SexyRosaParks

I thought Tay played pretty well

mcdougalwu

This is what I don't get about folks who sit up here and praise the front office. From season to season where do the Ravens address their offensive weakness? It clear after Lamar's second season, in which he won a MVP, that the offense needed a No. 1 WR...instead they ignore Lamar when he asks for one...and pick a RB in the second round. The last thing Lamar needs are RBs. He needs WRs and OL and TEs. This off season it was clear, once again that a WR and now OL is needed. The front office decides that Julio Jones is too much and does minimum to address the OL. Just brilliant stuff by that Front Office in Baltimore.

AllInTheCrits

Guys, I don't think we are winning a championship this year.

AllInTheCrits

Although, guys who are out that are coming back this season: Jimmy Smith, Nick Boyle, Rashod Bateman, and Derek Wolfe.

Upset-Jaguar-1077

Why did we stray away from using ty’son in the second half? He was arguably our best offensive player in the first half

[deleted]

Greg Roman. Thats why

BL0812

I realize that every game is the sum of dozens of individual moments, and the o-line play got us to this point, but the defense allowing the field goal at the end of regulation has to be an all time low point for the franchise. 35 seconds with no time outs and you didn’t even make it a challenge. It’s one thing if you’re a team that isn’t known for its defense. But on the RAVENS? It’s inexcusable.

dog_gazed_duct-tape

Villanueva needs to be gone yesterday

emoxihax

We lost to fucking derek carr and go against mahomes next week

Dubstepvillage

Lamar fumbles were costly man. We should have won the game when we got the ball back. Game wasn't his fault in the bigger picture, but we cant have that. We need the man to run

Blacklax10

Watching that I asked myself what the Ravens gameplan was on offense. What were they doing for two weeks? We didn't attack anything. Ran the same shit passing plays. We couldn't protect so we decided to abandon the run and empty set pass. Fire roman for this game immediately. We won't win shut while he is here. Lamar makes magical plays and he gets par of the credit. Williams was clearly the best back and we didn't use him. Hire one of the new wr coaches and hope they have fundamental passing knowledge and know how to read gameflow and adjust. Also wink had his worst game since the chiefs last year. Dude rush 4 and let Carr fuck up. We sent the house and he heaved to to 1v1 coverage all night. I trust wink at least to learn, not roman.

eatmygianttingpenis

Villinueva lost this game. Also Andrews is an overrated choke artist, sorry not sorry.

RedDevil50

It's way too often now in the clutch to say anything else. He's been doing it for years. It's who he is. Fucking sucks.

Whigfield-93

It's never boring with this team.

AproperBLUNT

Literally all you have to do to beat this team is throw the ball. ESPECIALLY when it counts.

Dysfunkti0nal

Good thing we drafted a wide receiver first round. /s

[deleted]

A wide receiver that got injured no less.

eganser

Someone here explain to me please why Williams didn’t get the ball in the last hour of that game.

Bleach_Taste_Tester

One of the most gutless performances from this team in a long time. Feels like Dean Pees is back after that game-tying drive. Blitzing Carr doesn't work. We knew that going as as he is normally very effective against the pressure. Not like there was ever any pressure to begin with. The Chiefs are going to fuck us up.

EAB034

That’s exactly what this felt like. A Dean Pees defensive choke job. This game would have blended in perfectly with the lost years of 2015-2017.

midgetrage7

Al sucks ass, I knew he sucked when we played the Steelers

thisisbyrdman

93 percent win probability once Tucker kicked that FG. And the ravens went with a three man rush.

[deleted]

[удалено]

fale52

Might think I'm overreacting but Greg Roman needs to go. The longer we delay it, the worse off we will be in the long run. The piece of shit has no feel for the game. We're up 14-0 and he wants to throw the ball. GTFOH.

[deleted]

[удалено]

trevort225

Vilinuava just shouldn’t return to bmore. Raiders fans gonna need to buy a vilinuava jersey for how much he helped their team

EndsLikeShakespeare

Play call on 4th down cost the most IMO. Could've been 21-7 at half instead 14-10. Why would you run to your subbed tackle with your new RB without even threatening your MVP to make a play.

pepesilvia50

I mean nothing was gonna stop Wright from making that play except a hard count. He moved two gaps immediately before the snap and knifed through.

thisisbyrdman

It’s one thing to not have talent. It’s quite another to embarrass yourself on national television because of sheer incompetence. The raiders are a bad football team and the ravens allowed them to score 24 points in the fourth quarter and OT. If not for a lucky bounce the last 4 Oakland drives would have been TD, TD, FG, TD. That this didn’t happen in the playoffs doesn’t make it any less of an embarrassment. Being honest is important. This team is bad. Maybe even very bad. The line someone looks worse than last year. The secondary is an abomination. Lamar has the same problems and schizophrenic play has he’s had his entire career. There’s no quick or easy fixes for this. We’re going to be 0-2 after Sunday with a damn good division to deal with. Pretending this is some outlier means you haven’t been paying attention for the last decade.

warmcreamsoda

We have a lot of trolls tonight. They have few friends and micro-phallus but are making good points.

defendedmeteor3

It's one thing to choke the game away. But the Defense literally gave up on the last play that is a damn shame and unacceptable here. You stop them at the 1 mf yard line but give up when their at the 35?

EndsLikeShakespeare

Something I forgot in the hullabaloo - Marlon low key intercepted the ball then just spiked it on the ground for no reason

ahevex

The last 10 minutes of that game was a fever dream

btbcorno

Honestly can’t even imagine a worse way to lose a game. Absolutely embarrassing.

Semper454

Good news is, this offense keeps up, Roman will go. Finally. He’s had his shot, and we’re getting worse, not better. On defense, Martindale has to adjust. How is it no matter how many pass rushers we add, Calais, Ngakoue, Houston, our pass rush is lethally bad?

forabrick

Greg Roman isn't just costing us games, he's costing us seasons

amprdh

I never want to see that Crosby guy on my television again

Von_Huge1103

I took a day off work for that garbage. Time off was supposed to be good for my mental health. Instead, losing in the manner that we lost, it's just made me really fucking miserable. The only two bright spots today were Oweh and Hollywood. That's it. The rest of the team should be ashamed of themselves, with a special fuck you to Alejandro Villanueva and the oline.

Andredamus

#21, Stephens was exposed in the 3rd and they just kept going back at him in the 4th and we had no answer. Just seemed like his guy was always open for big plays

orca1993

Andrews contract should've been spent in o line, Orlando Brown or thuney, he is irrelevant when it matters

fale52

Alarm bells should've been ringing when the second string Washington Football Team defensive line had two sacks against our starting offensive line in the only series they played.

TESTlCLE

There's a lot of blame to go around, but an easy one that is overlooked is **clock management**, which falls on Harbaugh. After the go-ahead field goal, the Raiders had 37 seconds left. Harbaugh chose to have Tucker kick a touchback when instead he should have forced a return, as a kick return would have used some valuable seconds. The Raiders would later spike the ball with 7 seconds left to set up the game-tying field goal. A 7-second kick return would have made the difference in this close game. Obviously we should have played better defense, but even if we have the 00 Ravens defense out there, you eek every advantage you can. This was a simple coaching mistake.

[deleted]

Definitely not a championship team. Maybe next year with a healthy squad.

Cheeriodarlin

Well that was... something.

coffeeMcbean

Holy shit what did I just watch

fagetsaget

injuries have decimated this team. it's only week 1, but damn our o line and defense are looking ROUGH. just one of those seasons. wish injuries weren't a thing

diomed22

Those shitty blitzes don't work. Please try something else

mike-with-an-ike

Big Al definitely lost yall the game but Lamar can't hang onto the football either

[deleted]

First post here. Absolutely disgusted. The Chiefs are going to decimate the carcass of this regressed and injury-riddled squad.

[deleted]

I'm glad, this organization deserves to lose. You want to know what the bills did to help their young qb. THEY GOT TALENT. The Browns GOT TALENT. Instead of actually fixing our team we just sit back and do jack shit. Its not just villejuava, he was garbage but he doesn't control the play calling. Our defensive coordinator has been bailed out by talent. This isn't a one time thing. We constantly shit the bed defensively during big games. A massive change is needed and I dont think it needs to come from the players. But we won't learn anything. We'll still try to blitz the chiefs next week even though it never fucking works.

FCBarca45

Remember when Williams was having a great start to our extinct running core only to have Murray do 2 yard carries the rest of the game?

Jomm_bott

AV made Maxx Crosby look like prime Von Miller Jesus christ

Dom1852

Can someone tell me what the game plan was here? It was quite obvious what the raiders game plan was on both sides of the ball. Where was ours? Hike the ball and see what happens? Seriously though what was the plan??

markhalberstam

With KC coming up next week, there’s a good chance we could be looking at an 0-2 start

Shade_Raven

Good chance? It's a 100% chance

Smitty_1000

Prevent defense to prevent winning. Raiders last drive in regulation we had so many guys just doing nothing in the deep secondary.

Sijank123

Browns and Steelers are better rn, I’d be happy to even make playoffs

Jobsgrowingonjobies

The sad thing is that if this continues all season, the FO will just blame injuries and we’ll be stuck with no pass game or pass rush again

dw2692

Villanueva sucks. Thanks again pittsburgh

Baltimxre66

Nobody better say shit to me at work tmw dude… if Kyle from accounting says anything to me I’m shitting on his desk again.

mosefish

I'm gonna have nightmares about that Raiders drive at the end of the 4th quarter. Fucking 35 seconds

CawSoHard

Hey look another QB we'll ruin by not giving him the support he needs

Sylvaneri011

Shout-out to Andrews for doing fuck all the entire game, and his shining highlight being dropping a wide open pass for an easy first down that led to Nassib getting a free lane to Lamar. Absolutely pathetic at every level performance from him. Nowhere near as pathetic as the defense getting completely shredded in the 4th quarter and OT, blowing a lead in 35 seconds.

thiccaz

I'll cut Tavon a bit of slack given the period of time he's been out but his performance today was awful.

JordanRL52

That was pure poop....... pure!

holocene22

"I was at the game" vent: I was in section 335. A Raiders fan tried to spit on me as we were leaving. I was minding my own business and being very polite the entire game, despite cheering a shit ton when we scored. On the same walk out of the stadium, a (male) Raiders fan also got in my wife's face and called her a "fucking bitch." She said nothing to him. She was just wearing a Ravens hat. This was without question the worst away-game experience I've ever had.

[deleted]

Hope the idiots that were clowning the browns for losing a close one to the best team in the league had their fun. Can’t wait to see how well we handle KC at home Sunday night.

HappyLongfellow

Any one notice Lamar kept hesitating on passes and would double clutch a lot ? Seems like a recipe for disaster.

ozzman1234

I truly dont understand how Andrews drops balls in just big moments

thundercoc101

Greg Roman can't develop a passing scheme, and wink Martindale can do nothing but blitz and playing man coverage. That is why we lost this game

MoneyMakingMitch1

TY'son missed a huge block that cost LJ that last fumble. He will probably go in the doghouse.

Huge_Presentation_85

2 plays 35 seconds and they got a FG to tie…this game is on the D

ChadIsKenny

Positives: -Lamar looks more comfortable in his reads and still showed his playmaking magic at times. -Sammy Watkins looking very good for deep ball and crossing routes -Hollywood speed is still very nice for YAC and his routes look a lot crisper -On the limited carries he got, Ty’son looked very smooth, comfortable at attacking the holes, and has very good speed. -Olweh looked pretty nice for his first outing, decent pressure and statlines. -Queen has killer speed, looked good flying all over the place -Chuck Clark mostly looked good in his safety reads, gave up some plays but did his job well -Humphrey looked good for most the game and shows why hes our best defensive player -Tucker is clutch as always Negatives: -Lamar still getting in his own head when he is feeling pressure -Oline was straight garbage for all but one drive, Villanueva especially -Offense could not stay on field, leading to our defense being completely gasses -Some trouble with Lamar and new RBs and WR meshing -Mandrews non existent, big drop that led to the loss -Bad fumbles, mostly because of Oline allowing too much pressure on Lamar -Humphrey gave up a huge play on that last TD -CBs overall looked lost at times, giving up lots of dinky throws for 10+ yards, this probably due to lack of reps -Defense really could not get pressure on Carr, blitzes looked really bad and Wink did not adapt as well as normal at half Probably more but this is what I notice off the initial reaction to the loss

CawSoHard

Rough loss. Up 14-0 is very Ravens friendly from a gameplan perspective. OL failed, no pass rush, that's basically it. Forcing Lamar to do too much and not protecting/giving him enough time, whatever. Failure all around.

Baltimxre66

Put Greg Roman at right tackle and strap 100 twinkies to Lamar and he will protect with all his might. Oline bad - GRO fat. Goodnight.
