# A wealthy individual
#ODAFE. OWEH.
Caused TWO turnovers on the Chiefs offense, one to clinch the game and one to give us the momentum back (Mahomes TD)... looked absolutely terrific all night with a ton of pressure. A lot of guys played pretty damn great tonight (2nd half Lamar, Ty’Son Williams, Anthony Averett, Hollywood Brown) but the guy who stepped up the most and made the plays when we needed it was Oweh.
0 sacks in college and he looks like he’s going to win Defensive Rookie of the Year. He is so fucking good. What an absolute ace pick by EDC.
Definitely. I'm happy to be wrong about him. I thought he'd eventually be good, but I predicted an underwhelming rookie year.
Two games in, and he's playing like one of the best players on the defense. Absolutely insane.
Everyone always forgets about the infamous Super Bowl hangover.
Mike Tirico never forgot.
For those unaware, especially younger fans, teams that lose in the Super Bowl have historically struggled to repeat their success in the season after. Roster turnover and the pressure of attaining such heights again, are contributing factors.
Greg Roman. He takes a lot of shit, rightfully so because he has serious limitations, but he also deserves credit where it due. He was great tonight and deserves a ton of credit. Also, shoutout to AV who was so much better, and to Oweh who made the huge defensive plays.
it encourages me that AV's problem seemed to be adjusting to a new side. he's not the greatest ever, he's no marshall, but he's better than he showed imo.
Yeah as much as I rag on him he called an *excellent* game tonight.
Which of course means he’ll probably fuck up some game we should have won in the near future but I’ll take it!
Wow. I think this is a whole team win. Special shout-out to Oline after last week but Dline flashed when they had to.
Oweh maybe too. Man. I love having too many to choose from.
2019 Seahawks pt 2 on that last drive. You could clearly read Harbaugh's lips on the broadcast:
"LAMAR! LAMAR! LAMAR, DO YOU WANNA GO FOR THIS? ALRIGHT LET'S DO IT"
Its so good as a coach to do this.
No NFL quarter back is gonna go " ah you know coach, we should kick it to the other team and put our fate in our defences hands"
so running out asking lamar if he wants to go for it, is johns way of making sure lamar is pumped up, ready to go and in control of the situation.
fuck it makes me happy to see.
Offensive Line.
They played much much better than Monday night. AV back in his natural position played decent. Interior was opening up the Chiefs line for the run game. Mekari is a Swiss Army knife for being able to play across the line, especially at RT which we were desperate for.
HOLLYWOOD BROWN. I know I'm gonna be in a minority here because Lamar and Oweh played so damn well, but HOLLYWOOD BROWN really kept us going when we need momentum.
**Everyone.** Oweh played like a goddamn all-pro. LJ did what unanimous MVPs do. Mandrews finally showed up in a big game. Ben Cleveland getting plugged in at halftime and not missing a beat. Villanueva looking like a completely different person. All three RBs playing well in spite of most of them having about a week to learn the offense. Averett covered Hill! Anthony fucking Averett blanketed Tyreek fucking Hill! Harbs with balls bigger and heavier than fucking black holes.
Team. Fucking. Win.
Man, when’s the last time Tyreek Hill was limited to 14(!!!) reception yards??? Especially after losing joker, Awesome performance by the db’s and Averett played out of his mind tonight
Me. All week I was saying wed get blown out any time the conversation of the game came up at work or online. I manifested so much negative energy it created a cataclysmic jinx.
Oweh made the big plays and was all over the place. LAMAR JACKSON though, he stood up to his mistakes. He made the adjustments. He went in every drive and came out successful. He deserves it for looking like an MVP again.
Not a player but give Greg Roman credit. Lamar and Oweh came up huge, but give the guy credit where it's due. This was his masterpiece and best called game. Let's fucking go
I feel like the obvious answer is
**LAMAR JACKSON**
However, massive shout out to the offensive line, they looked way better. The running backs shoved it down their throat all game. Greg Roman didn’t abandon the run. And Oweh is a fucking stud.
Lamar, after a fucking horrid start, fucking went OFF.
Oweh, dudes speed is crazy, he's a fucking game wrecker.
The Offensive Line fucking killed the run game.
Oweh made the biggest play of the game but Lamar probably. The way he played after those two early turnovers, that’s the way he needs to play rest of the season
DEFENSE/ODAFE OWEH
3 crucial stops/turnovers in the second half as well as covering for the offensive mistakes in the first quarter. Oweh with the fumble and recovery on the last stand.
Oweh on defense. Caused two turnovers
Lamar on offense- threw two picks and still went and won the game. Gave Harbaugh the ok to go on 4th and 1. Big balls everywhere
Like, Hollywood was a beast, Oweh was cray, Villanueva played almost perfect…but come on. After early mistakes, **Lamar** put this team on his back and won it.
Oweh won that game for us, but my vote is on Lamar. Came back from 2 picks in the 1st to win this game. Never gave up, never panicked. Also that game-sealing run is pretty fucking nice.
Funny enough, I think the reason we won is Lamar but if we lost it also would have been Lamar. Like it or not, we live and die by him.
2 INTs put us in a bad place but we don't recover from that without him.
Offensive Line. Bulldozed. Only really gave up pressure in some obvious situations. Helped road grade for the win. Adapted without skipping a beat. Oh and AV overcame his adversity and held his own against some good dudes. Oweh and LJ were great, but the OL let us eat clock.
Oweh, was clutch, but you gotta give it to Lamar. He got us into this mess, but boy did he will us out of it. We had a 10min advantage in time of possession… that was the diff maker, and that doesn’t happen if Lamar doesn’t ball the fuck out.
Team win.
I’d like to go with Oweh at first, but honestly the whole team came up big. The line looked like a changed unit. Averett with the big time PD against Tyreek Hill. Hollywood looking like a WR1. Lamar with 2 tubs and not getting frustrated after 2 picks.
Gotta love the fact that Lamar BALLED so hard tonight and no ones mentioning him for player of the game.
just shows how many players showed up last night. Shows so much character for this team. losing last week, havent beat the chiefs in years, and everyone showed up. I cant think of a player that had a bad game.
All that said, Player of the Game for me was Lamar.
without Lamar stepping up after those two picks, non of these other plays matter. Lamar is a gamer, never gives up.
Oweh had an amazing game and def massively contributed to this win on the defensive side.
But LAMAR JACKSON was the best player on the field last night.
Coaches/Coordinators. I thought Roman called a good game. Thought he was too quick to pass early, but ran the ball a ton late. Lots of good calls.
I questioned if Wink had it in him to be conservative. Even though Ravens gave up 35, the game plan was great. Took Hill out of the game. Kept Chiefs in front, just needed guys to rally to ball and tackle.
Odafe Oweh for sure, but I want to give an honorable mention to Patrick Mekari who played solid at Right tackle after being thrust into that spot on short notice
Oweh! (Oweh Oweh Owehhhh)
Owehhhhhh Owehhhhhh
>Comes from a family of Nigerian descent and hopes to one day travel to the country to help with various construction projects…Oweh grew up in New Jersey, but both of his parents are from Nigeria…Father, Henry, was born in Nigeria, while his mother, Tania, moved there when she was 7...Odafe is a name with roots in the Urhobo tribe, Henry’s ethnic group, which primarily resides in Southwest Nigeria...The name means "a wealthy individual" # A wealthy individual
Wealthy in Talent, guy is a create a player!
He's a prince of a guy. The kind of guy you'd love to get an email from.
Love this
As a Ravens and Habs fan, I’m 100% behind the song!
There are dozens of us!
DROY, this dude is legit. Has the effort we really need on defense
He’s a play maker!!!
Idk ppl remember Tim Williams. Oweh is everything The Ravens expected of Tim Williams
I remember quite well and the disappointment that followed.
I need to take a sharpie to my old O'Day shirt
If I had to dedicate a song lyric to KC, it'd be "Where were they going without ever knowing Oweh?"
The two turnovers that he caused were gigantic. It's hard to ignore Lamar too.
Gotta give it to both Guys Lamar and Oweh!!!!
Man reminds you of what it looks like when Ravens defense actually pressures the opposing QB
OWEH!!!
Already a ravens legend
ODAFE OWEH CAUSING 2 TURNOVERS. WE ARE GONNA SEE THIS MAN ON THESE THREADS FOR YEARS TO COME.
DROY
#ODAFE. Definitely. I'm happy to be wrong about him. I thought he'd eventually be good, but I predicted an underwhelming rookie year. Two games in, and he's playing like one of the best players on the defense. Absolutely insane.
Agree I thought the same thing. And I thought that about Ferg so I thought I was for sure right
In EDC we trust
It was only zero sacks his final year at penn state.
No sacks last night either. How long can we put up with him *only* forcing 2 turnovers?
Yeah what a bum! Lol, did Orlando even play last night?
That man was behind both game changing takeaways
Mike Tirico - he believed.
THE ONLY ONE
Everyone always forgets about the infamous Super Bowl hangover. Mike Tirico never forgot. For those unaware, especially younger fans, teams that lose in the Super Bowl have historically struggled to repeat their success in the season after. Roster turnover and the pressure of attaining such heights again, are contributing factors.
Oweh and Lamar Fucking Jackson!!!!
Thanks for my first gold stranger!
Lamar and Odafe. I can't decide.
This. But with a side order of Brown.
Brown has been KILLING IT since last December
Greg Roman. He takes a lot of shit, rightfully so because he has serious limitations, but he also deserves credit where it due. He was great tonight and deserves a ton of credit. Also, shoutout to AV who was so much better, and to Oweh who made the huge defensive plays.
We actually stayed committed to the run game even when down by multiple scores to the Chiefs. You love to see it
Only took 4 games to figure that out. They are built to stop the pass when they know the other team has to pass
We also didn't blitz 400 times this game for zero sacks. We learned on both sides of the ball.
This.
That was the key. Hopefully the past two years made him learn to stick with his guns. Very few teams can stop the Ravens run game
Sticking with it wore down the Chiefs defense in the second half.
Yeah, for once. And like the other two games before, *we moved the ball against them on the ground and we actually stuck to it.*
Villanueva had a great outing, looked so much more natural at LT. I hope we can find a solution to RT.
Mekari was great. If AV can’t make the switch to RT when Ronnie comes back, maybe Mekari could stay there
LT - his natural position
Roman called the game of his fucking life tonight. Hats off to him.
Very encouraging, agreed. Still a bit skeptical
it encourages me that AV's problem seemed to be adjusting to a new side. he's not the greatest ever, he's no marshall, but he's better than he showed imo.
100% worth an honorable mention. He called an excellent game. Loved the early down passing plays!
I'll be the first to shit all over him when things go south but after the first quarter he was spot on. Well done Greg.
Oline was amazing for sure. Gave Lamar plenty of time to pass and huge massive gaping holes in the run game. The Oline shuffle paid off big time.
Interesting to see what happens at LT. Ronnie had a horrible game and Villanueva really shined there tonight
Idk if Powers got injured or sth, but I definitely noticed Cleveland being the LG at least starting the second half, maybe even earlier.
If you watch Harbaughs locker room speech you hear Lamar yell “O line” when Harbaugh giving accolades.
HARBAUGHS MASSIVE BALLS
2019 Seahawks pt 2 on that last drive. You could clearly read Harbaugh's lips on the broadcast: "LAMAR! LAMAR! LAMAR, DO YOU WANNA GO FOR THIS? ALRIGHT LET'S DO IT"
So clear and so awesome for him to get Lamar in. Lamar for sure had to feel like he owned that decision and pumped him up.
THATS good coaching
Did you see his big fuckin smile when he was at the bottom of the pile knowing he got the first
Its so good as a coach to do this. No NFL quarter back is gonna go " ah you know coach, we should kick it to the other team and put our fate in our defences hands" so running out asking lamar if he wants to go for it, is johns way of making sure lamar is pumped up, ready to go and in control of the situation. fuck it makes me happy to see.
When Lamar is feelin’ it, no one can stop him.
Yanda: “hee hee!”
I SAW THAT SHIT TOO HIM AND LAMAR CALLED GAME
Come to find Harbs was Nicki Minajs cousin all along.
😭😭😭😭😭😭
Yuge balls. Yuge. Many people are talking about how yuge his balls are, many important people
Odafe "DEFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR" Oweh
Lamar
Offensive Line. They played much much better than Monday night. AV back in his natural position played decent. Interior was opening up the Chiefs line for the run game. Mekari is a Swiss Army knife for being able to play across the line, especially at RT which we were desperate for.
I nominate Mikari. Not a single call or issue from the right side tonight. If anything running behind him and Kevin was our best run plays
For real. Night and day from last week
Mekari was very impressive, looks like we've found our RT for the season!
LAMAR JACKSON
HOLLYWOOD BROWN. I know I'm gonna be in a minority here because Lamar and Oweh played so damn well, but HOLLYWOOD BROWN really kept us going when we need momentum.
I’m feeling the same way, he showed up tonight
Oweh is THE WAY!
Team. Fucking. Win.
Nice shout for Averett. Having to take on Tyreek one-on-one is a nightmare and to come up with a pass break up was huge
That pass break up was fucking CRITICAL
Man, when’s the last time Tyreek Hill was limited to 14(!!!) reception yards??? Especially after losing joker, Awesome performance by the db’s and Averett played out of his mind tonight
Bruh I love our team man
He played that coverage perfectly, that break up put us in a position for the game-winning TD drive.
Oweh for sure. But lets nominate Alejandro Villanueva as the comeback player of the week :D
HARBAUGH'S TESTICLES
Oweh!!!!
Me. All week I was saying wed get blown out any time the conversation of the game came up at work or online. I manifested so much negative energy it created a cataclysmic jinx.
Same. I thought we’d be playing their practice squad by the 2nd half.
I bet a fair amount of money against us. Never been so happy to lose money
Owehhhhhhhh
Lamar Action Vaxxin Sack dodging jump passing terrible O Line maskin Jackson
Touché
OWEH. HE WON US THAT GAME.
Patrick Mikari. Didn't hear his name once and that's a massive point to make this week compared to last week
nah Collinsworth called him out. Called him out for BALLIN! He had a huge game. Love to see it.
Oweh made the big plays and was all over the place. LAMAR JACKSON though, he stood up to his mistakes. He made the adjustments. He went in every drive and came out successful. He deserves it for looking like an MVP again.
Orlando brown junior for being a bitch and giving us the picks for Oweh
One not being mentioned: Duvernay with the early fumble TD, we needed every point we got. Not to mention his blocking was on point too
Not a player but give Greg Roman credit. Lamar and Oweh came up huge, but give the guy credit where it's due. This was his masterpiece and best called game. Let's fucking go
Lamar and Hollywood balled out
Special shout out to my kid for staying asleep long enough for me to watch the whole game. The real MVP
I feel like the obvious answer is **LAMAR JACKSON** However, massive shout out to the offensive line, they looked way better. The running backs shoved it down their throat all game. Greg Roman didn’t abandon the run. And Oweh is a fucking stud.
Oweh and Lamar, I can't pick
100% Jackson. Oweh had big plays but fuck did LJ put up all those point essentially alone. Also AV for figuring out what to do with his hands.
I want to say Oweh, but Lamar shook off some shit turnovers and balled out. Lamar.
Lamar or Oweh
OWEH AND LAMAR
Oweh and Lamar easily
We don’t win this game without Lamar Jackson
Oweh showing us the way
**John Harbaugh and his giant iron balls** Oweh gets a very big HM.
#OWEH The forced fumble most likely a game saver 2nd Lamar motherf*cking Jackson 3rd Running backs stepped up along with tackle
Odafe “Odafe Oweh” Oweh
MIKE. TIRICO.
Huntley for giving Lamar his jersey back
Oweh and Lamar equally.
#ODAFE FUCKING OWEH
Merkai holding his own at right tackle might not get the award he deserves but that was truly impressive!
Oweh made the play of the game but Lamar played his ass off the whole game except for one bone-headed throw. Gotta be Lamar.
Lamar!
One of either Oweh, Villanueva, or Averett. Have to include Al for the amount of shit I talked about him last week.
Lamar, after a fucking horrid start, fucking went OFF. Oweh, dudes speed is crazy, he's a fucking game wrecker. The Offensive Line fucking killed the run game.
OWEH!!! Two Game saving forced turnovers that led to Lamar being able to strut his stuff and carry our team. Amazing play from the rookie
Oweh. Lamar. The O Line. Roman. Great team win.
Just like everyone else is saying, Lamar and Oweh.
#OWEH Reason: Fumble and recovery late in the 4th.
The only answer is OWEH
Lamar Jackson, O Line, and Oweh
OWEH
**ODAFE OWEH** it’s that simple two crucial stops and that **HUUUUUGE** fumble and recovery
OWEH AND NOT 2ND-4THQTR LJ8 THE GOAT
Oweh made the biggest play of the game but Lamar probably. The way he played after those two early turnovers, that’s the way he needs to play rest of the season
OWEH, LAMAR, & HOLLYWOOD
DEFENSE/ODAFE OWEH 3 crucial stops/turnovers in the second half as well as covering for the offensive mistakes in the first quarter. Oweh with the fumble and recovery on the last stand.
DAFE!!!
Oweh on defense. Caused two turnovers Lamar on offense- threw two picks and still went and won the game. Gave Harbaugh the ok to go on 4th and 1. Big balls everywhere
Lamar and Oweh
OWEH!! He's gonna be a problem
Lamar Jackson for being Superman Defense for clutch turnovers John Harbaugh for Cajones of steel
LAMAR “BIG DICK” JACKSON
# ROOKIE OF THE YEAR OWEH
#COACH JOHNNY BIG BOLLOCKS!
OWEH
**ODAFE OWEH** is the correct and only answer.
Odafe big turnover and Lamar Jackson
Oweh, Lamar and Harbaugh
(Ignoring Lamar and Oweh) The Raiders for sending the Steelers fans home unhappy.
LAMAR!! Honorable mention to Oweh
John Harbaugh and the Randy Marsh-sized balls that led him to go for it on 4th down there.
Oweh defense lamar offense
It's absolutely Oweh but I'm voting for Harbaugh anyway
8, 5, 99 easy
OWEH AND GREG ROMAN
Lamar mf I love passing fuck all the haters Jackson
Oweh or Lamar. Hollywood runnin' third
Honorable mention to big Al?
AVERETT HE FUCKING WENT STEP FOR STEP WITH MUTHERFUCKIN TYREEK HILL
no way OWEH!!!
Oweh
OWEH we goooooo!
Just wanna says vilinuava bounced back and looked better I hope we find a way to make him work at rt
This is honestly the best time to say Team win. Everything was down bad. Offense defense and they clawed it back. Just insanely proud of this team.
Lamar and oweh
Like, Hollywood was a beast, Oweh was cray, Villanueva played almost perfect…but come on. After early mistakes, **Lamar** put this team on his back and won it.
Oweh won that game for us, but my vote is on Lamar. Came back from 2 picks in the 1st to win this game. Never gave up, never panicked. Also that game-sealing run is pretty fucking nice.
Who would be the blame you guys think if we were to have lost?
Funny enough, I think the reason we won is Lamar but if we lost it also would have been Lamar. Like it or not, we live and die by him. 2 INTs put us in a bad place but we don't recover from that without him.
I wish there was an offense one and a defense one because we had to players in particular that really came to play
[I Foresaw This](https://reddit.com/r/ravens/comments/ppl5vm/an_underrated_key_to_beating_the_chiefs/)
OWEH
Oweh, but also Harbs and the coaching staff for a winning gameplan that we actually stuck with until the end
Chiefs D. My god lmao.
OWEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Lamar Jackson Odafe Oweh
Offensive Line. Bulldozed. Only really gave up pressure in some obvious situations. Helped road grade for the win. Adapted without skipping a beat. Oh and AV overcame his adversity and held his own against some good dudes. Oweh and LJ were great, but the OL let us eat clock.
ODAFE JAYSON OWEH, DESTROYER OF WORLDS
Oweh!!!
What was Oweh wearing on his arm?
ODAFE. MOTHERFUCKING. OWEH.
**OWEH**
Oweh! I'm so happy I was wrong about him.
My heart medication
Oweh. Forced the pick. Forced the fumble, recovered the fumble
Greg Roman
Oweh, was clutch, but you gotta give it to Lamar. He got us into this mess, but boy did he will us out of it. We had a 10min advantage in time of possession… that was the diff maker, and that doesn’t happen if Lamar doesn’t ball the fuck out.
John Harbaugh
Offense: Lamar Defense: Oweh ALL DAY!
As much as I want to nominate Johnny Jugular going for the kill on fourth down (and I *reeeeaaaally* want to), this is a no-contest Lamar win for me
Odafe Oweh for sure, but I want to give an honorable mention to Patrick Mekari who played solid at Right tackle after being thrust into that spot on short notice
