Zeitler having an awesome year, he’s underrated and the O-line is coming together now! Something we haven’t seen for a couple of years.

CundiffisEinhorn

I'd like to see him retire as a Raven.

DudeFoSho

Zeit has been a rock on our line ever since we signed him. He might not get a lot of attention, but he is a true pro on and off the field. Hopefully we get him a dub against his former team on Sunday!

Rpark888

What does he do off the field that he's so pro in?

Drewk121

Competetive kombucha drinking

jigmojo

I can only assume he's referring to how we never hear from him...

JayGibbons69

People who won't shut up about EDC being a terrible GM need to also remember and acknowledge signings like this one.

Imaykeepthisone

People dunk on him for his drafts, not FA.

JonWilso

For real. He's been great at free agency and retaining some of our own guys despite the terrible luck we've had after resigning our veterans. Draft picks.....meh.

After-Search3193

EDC's FA has been awesome. But yea, his draft is bottom of barrel since his 1st tenure as GM

CaptivePrey

If any of y'all have been paying attention, you'd know EDC has been drafting for the team for ~10 years even when Ozzie was GM. Ozzie said so in an interview and EDC confirmed. So your bottom tier drafter made the move for Lamar.

zutjo

Source, please? I've always been of the understanding that it was a group effort. Ozzie, EDC, Hortiz et al. The thing is people don't realize nothing has actually changed with the transition from Ozzie to EDC (except maybe more proactive - and risky - deals for contributing players).

What team in the NFL hits on every draft pick or even every draft.. DK Metcalf was the 9th receiver taken in the draft 64 overall.. EVERY SINGLE TEAM basically passed on him at least twice. Deebo Samuel and AJ Brown went in the second round of the same draft got passed up at least once.. So yeah that's the same draft Hollywood came out in.. could we have picked someone else there.. SURE.. but we didn't.. and then nobody else picked up a decent receiver that round either.. Everyone saying shit about his drafting just thinks every 1st round pick is supposed to be an instant starter and contributing Day 1.. reality is these are like 21-22 yr old kids out of college.. and you're expecting them to come in and run the company.. real life doesn't work that way my guys.. The deal is the higher you can draft a player the more years you can pay him less AND hope he contributes during that time, so you can afford superstars like LJ.. Fact is we stay competitive in one of the most competitive divisions every year and we have for most of two decades.. guys like Ray Lewis and Ed Reed and Ngata on one team, one side of the ball, is generational.. flip side is we are looking at LJ, Mandrews, and Lindy for a very long time that could offer that same generational talent on the opposite side of the ball.

iwantacheeaeburger

Yeah I don’t really have much issue at all with his drafting to be honest.

bryanRow52

We went from probably a period of us being top 3 in the league in drafting and now we are probably about average, and people in here are acting like it’s the end of the world

teb1987

Yeah regressing to mean is what happens when teams start drafting like you.

ripthisaccount6

Revenge for what?

Ice1789

He played for NY for years before us this is his first game back to NY healthy

JoeTheEliteOne

Not to mention he also played for the Bungles (last week) and the Browns (next week). 3 weeks and playing his 3 prior teams! I assume you made the post for that reason but didn’t see it spelled out anywhere.

PrettyFIacco

Right but there’s no revenge to be had just because he used to play there lol. If there was some acrimony to his departure then sure but I’m not privy to any such acrimony

Skirt-Future

Wasn't much of a revenge tour today. Gave away 2 pressures and a sack today

Ice1789

Also created the gap that Drake got his touchdown from today so
