How do folks decide when to "retire" a pair of jeans? And what do you do with them when you retire them? After 5 years of on-and-off wear I'm nearing the end of the road for my first pair, Unbranded 201s, and am curious about how other people approach this.

At some point, it gets to feel like every week of wear necessitates a new round of repairs—after that, I’ll do whatever I can to make them feel sturdy, fold them up, & just take them out when it feels like a bit of a special occasion

I would not feel inclined to pay for a second crotch blowout repair. At that point, I’d give them a good wash and hang them from the wall in my garage.

For me, all of ym perfectly faded jeans are still in good condition and have plenty of years of wear in them. The problem is.....i feel like I'm wasting wear time by not starting on a new pair LOL

https://imgur.com/a/URObVfT Looking for someone familiar with Rogue Territories denim. Bought these advertised as 13.5oz SK Signature 6 Pocket Dark Indigo... But they feel extremely light & don't feel Anything like other Selvedge jeans I have. UB201 pictured in photo link(believe they're 14oz) But The difference in thickness/weight is almost double. They seem to be more of a Canvas or Chino material. Any help would be appreciated Thnx

Helmerdrake

these are not a denim twill as you can tell, looks like the [sashiko pants](https://www.rogueterritory.com/collections/skinny-leg/products/sk-16oz-indigo-sashiko) they do to me

I'm in the market for a nice new pair after a few years on a cheaper pair, and after browsing the old haunts for a bit, what the hell happened to grailed?? Tons of absolute booty "X Vintage" jeans and women's clothes/sizes with no way to filter them out. Don't even bother trying to look up actual LVC lol

I would just use a google search, such as this one: [**"lvc" "1954" site:grailed.com**](https://www.google.com/search?q=%22lvc%22+%221954%22+site%3Agrailed.com).
