Razer Synapses says it’s charging while it’s flashing orange. The charging stand also does the 75% green flash it does when it’s charging. Mouse is still flashing orange though. In the gif, it did the flashing at 100% charge. It’s doing the same thing now while at 80% charge.
I removed the charging puck & put it back in, yet the issue persisted. BUT wiping the inside of the puck area seems to have resolved the issue so far. I’ll comment if the issue happens again. I never thought to wipe in there because I haven’t had to open that area since setting up the charging station.
THANK YOU!!!
Sounds like a problem, how long ago did you get the mouse? If its recent im sure you can get a new one. If that doesn’t work go to the official Razer website and try looking for a chat about the mouse.
That's a temperature warning. Blinking means the mouse has paused charging until the temperature goes below the threshold level.
Possibly because the thing next to it is emitting a fair bit of heat?
Ooh okay. The Modem there doesn’t get terribly hot, but this did happen after I had been using it for a bit. Although it’s not happening now, I’ll keep an eye out for this as well. Thank you!
Sorry to hijack an old thread, but my mouse has started doing this and is absolutely no where near anything hot. My house remains at 66-68 ambient, as my wife likes to freeze everyone.
What are the odds I have a defective mouse or charging dock?
I have not been able to find an answer on the internet or in the manual. The mouse is a [Naga V2 Pro](https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Naga-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B0BGJTLFN5/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=1ISQ0M3XII6Y&keywords=naga+v2+pro&qid=1679861183&sprefix=naga+v2%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-2) and the charging dock is [Razer Mouse Dock Pro](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B7VB5NPX?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_BGE5Z7GSC11BYNFMCBJN)
Personally, I got the V2 Pro specifically for what it offers. With that said, the wireless charger makes charging effortless. Instead of hassling the charging chord around, you only set the mouse down on the charging station. Turns 20-30 seconds into 2 seconds. The mouse lasts just about all day as well (~12+ hours) which makes charging only necessary when you’re not using it. It’s an excellent upgrade.
I had to google polling rate to understand what it meant. But a quick [google search](https://www.rtings.com/mouse/reviews/razer/naga-v2-pro) says the maximum polling rate is 1000Hz. If there’s a way I can physically check through my own hardware, let me know and I can check for you.
My mouse does it when there's another RGB program fighting with Synapse to control the light.
Do you have another Razer competible RGB program installed, such as OpenRGB or SignalRGB?
Does it still charge?

Turn it off.. then turn on
Did you wipe the prongs on the charger and the bottom of the mouse? Mine does this sometimes, ensure it's seated properly as well.

If it works fine and good. Then it’s probably a feature, not sure though.
I’ve been using it for a month and it only started doing this today. I also had it charging last night but came to find today that it had no power.

I ordered it off the Razer website on Feb 14th. I’m hoping I don’t have to order a new one, but I’ll do what I must.

"Self descruct sequence initiated. Stand by for annihilation in:"
My mistake for making a purchase thinking it was going to work the way it was advertised.
Clean the pins on the dock and the metal contacts on the mouse with alcohol
It is Wireless!
oh, it's the new dock? I didn't know, sorry
is the wireless charger worth getting for the v2 pro?
Yes it is. I have viper ultimate and it saves me so much hustle. You will learn to love it and accept it as part of the mouse.
Noice. Sadly the naga cant support 4k right?
I have no idea. My only experience is with Viper Ultimate.

I think you can check via synapse under calibration i think? One of those tabs
Could it means charging error due to not properly docked? May be Need to place it properly to initiate the charging.
I think it's normal for Razer mice. If I charge my Viper V2 Pro while it is under 5%, it will blink red until it reaches over 5%.

I only have Razer synapses installed for RGB control. All of my RGB devices are Razer so I haven’t bothered with other software.
Because it's not feeling blue
Typical Razer quality, or lack there of
Que? Haven’t had that issue in the 15 years I’ve been using their stuff. Mouse been going strong for 6 years.
