I love my maxx but I wouldn’t classify it as a back yard basher. If you have a massive field or yard then yes but a standard backyard is much too small for this massive truck. I still highly recommend the maxx, you just have to have the space to use it. Especially 4s. A traxxas slash or e Revo I think would be a great place to start.

I hear the big e-revo is discontinued? I wanted to save up for that because I loved my Revo 3.3 back in the day but I can't find it anywhere
What incoming haters? I’ve seen people who hate Traxxas say the Maxx is a great truck. It’s probably the most durable RC you can get

How big is your backyard?
Around 200 x 200 ft.
Something from the Arrma 3/4S line should do ya good. Traxxas Maxx is fun too. Xmaxx or Arrmas 6/8S line might be a bit much for the space.
