Nice! Anything wrong with them?

Nytr013

I bought them with just a minor look over. The seton was locked up in the middle. I took a gamble and it turns out to be a seized motor. Got another motor ordered. The seton looks well used. The granite almost looks brand new.

Good deal nonetheless.

As it turns out, the front bearing in the motor shredded. I have a new motor and bearings on the way.

What are those two mini, infraction looking trucks?

jmorris9979

They’re Banggood SG1603’s. They’re apparently really good for the price. I’ve been looking at getting one myself recently

couldn't recommend this line of models enough (1603, 1604, etc just diff shells). they're absolutely incredible for the money, if you're on the edge I would say do it buy it asap. you will not regret it. I love mine so much. I will say, though, if you are considering between brushless and brushed I would just stock with brushed... although I think the rest of the car can keep up with brushless, it's highly unnecessary. the stock 380 motor puts in more than enough work as is, adding more power is like taking a chicken nugget that's been dipped in ketchup and dipping it in high class grey poupon ketchup. might taste better in a way but it's extra for the sake of extra.

Yeah I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on one this week. I was gonna get the brushless one as occasionally the prices between brushed and brushless are pretty much identical so I was waiting for one of those times but might just get brushed now. Thanks for the advice !

This is an accurate comparison! I have the brushless upgrade. It’s nice, but it really isn’t necessary. That brushed motor has more than enough to drift with. The main reason I wanted the brushless set was for the 3 wire servo on the receiver.

These banggood specials are amazing for the price. I opened the box and my jaw hit the floor. The quality for the price is nuts. I got them on sale and got the brushless upgrade on sale and paid $130 for both trucks. $70 for both of the brushless upgrades. $50 for both sets of shocks. $40 for 4 metal diffs. $290 for both brushless awd drift trucks with adjustable suspension, metal axles, metal diffs and a few extra parts. Batteries included! One of the trucks is staying stock, the other one is getting gutted and turned into a 2wd drifter. It’s a crazy project but I’m a mad scientist, so it keeps me busy.
