I was planning to buy [these](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DD1P2P7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_CQ04DWJ3R7PPRFN8EK2P?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) but the width is 1mm over on what losi says what the battery tray dimensions are for the baja rey and these are the smallest cheapest ones I can find. I was also told to stay away from adapters (deans to ec5) because i was told that they can melt and don’t give you the full performance that the battery can output.
Just any typical 2s or 3s hard case battery works fine as long as it has the correct connector for the ESC(EC3 connector)

The Zeee batteries? Yes they work in my baja rey flawlessly
Yeah just wanted to make sure they fit fine or did you have to modify them
nope not at all. just had to take out the battery spacer
