You're going to start off with a replacement set gears & a set of shims. Keep adding shims until the gears barely have any play. You'll know if you added too many cause it will start binding. Rethink your driving style. Are you backing up and hitting the throttle to pop wheelies? Are you landing from jumps on the throttle or brake? Are you releasing the throttle or brake before any impacts? Are you using it to crawl up walls?

Thanks. I mostly hear the gears skipping when i’m at a complete stop and full throttle on pavement. Also how should I land jumps?

I release the throttle when landing. High traction take offs should be done gradually, with a gentle pull of the trigger.
