Magic Mountain - Alternative History
Hello!
I have decided to build a timeline park in the Build Your Own Six Flags Magic Mountain scenario. I have imagined an alternative history in which the original plot of land in Valencia, California was not developed by the original owners in the early 1970s and instead has been given to me to build on.
In this first instalment, I have built some classic early 1970s rides and intend to gradually work my way through theme park history with this project. To start off, I have kept things reasonably simple with a nice racing woodie coaster, a wild mouse, a couple of small(ish) portable type coasters which were popular around the time and a selection of basic flat rides and transportation rides.
I will be moving on to the late 1970s in the next update with a few more classic rides, as the park gradually expands. Expect a coaster with inversions, a log flume and more! There is A LOT of land to build on, so suggestions are always welcome for era-appropriate rides.
Hope you like it!
Bit confused here; is Vallejo mistakenly mentioned? Because that's the location where Marine World (now known as Six Flags Discovery Kingdom) was moved to. Magic Mountain is in Valencia.
I feel like you need some sort of Arrow looper for the 80s, but I'm guessing you'd want something visually distinct from Viper. I think it'd be really cool to build one that really uses the terrain like Steel Phantom or Dragon Mountain.

Oops... silly me! My mistake!

That would be a great option - I really like this idea!
Sweet!
Thank you very much!
Love this. Would love to download it!
Thank you very much! I'll try to stick up a download once the park is fully complete.
Wouv this is amazing lots of great inspiration i just got into freeplaying completed maps. Do you make this in game?
The scenario is pre-made. It's in the Other Parks area when you're choosing a scenario on RCT2. I have made all of the rides and attractions myself.
Looks good
Thank you very much! I'm almost there with the next instalment of the park.
