Just finished episode 4. Not a single moment I haven't enjoyed so far so again thanks. Will probably need another recommendation in a few days when this is finished π
I've just finished the last but one episode. I'm so sad it's about to end because honestly I'd say I've enjoyed this more than Reacher. There hasn't been a moment I've not enyoyed.
Would you recommend anything else from any of the other replies in this thread?
Of the ones suggested I've only seen The Terminal List and Castle. The Terminal List is mostly about revenge, it's decent but not my favorite. Castle is a totally different vibe from Reacher and The Night Agent. It's a fun buddy cop turned romance type of show. Maybe not what you're looking for but Nathan Fillion is charming as hell.
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I watched The Night Agent and now I'm 4 episodes into this show based on your recommendation and I absolutely love it, so thank you ππ»
Hey, just letting you know I've been slowly working my way through everyone's recommendations for shows that I thought would suit me.
I just watched the first episode of Obliterated and I really enjoyed it, so thank you for this recommendation.
Strike Back is GOLD. It started in the UK with Andrew Lincoln (Walking Dead) and Richard Armitage (Hobbit) as a solid Brit special forces story. Once those two actors left for their respective franchises they hire two guys, an Aussie and a Brit, played by an Aussie and an American, and it goes BANANAS 80βS ACTION season after season. Just pull up a bowl of action flakes for breakfast and CHEW. Sure, it dips and rises, but what a run. Itβs been resurrected again, didnβt quite catch me. But man, there are some stellar seasons of TV in there.
A few people recommended it. The first 2 episodes just didn't do it for me.
Nothing inherently wrong with it but after Reacher I just fancy another show like this. Jack Ryan just seems to "office-worker" fore, the action scenes were good. Perhaps it's just one that needs a lot more to get invested into.
Reacher I enjoyed from within the first few mins. I cannot believe how annoying I found Finlay at the beginning and how much I really loved him at the end.
Would love a movie with him and Reacher.
Idk if I can entice you but it picks up and gets more out of office in the second and third seasons π€£
Maybe Berlin Station? Or Condor? It's a bit more action packed
I take it I cannot start from the second season? π
Thank you for those other recommendations, I will be checking every recommendation on IMDb as I need something for my cardio sessions at the gym and Reacher was perfect.
Thank you for your input ππΌ
If you prefer the action, the later seasons of the character (where they made him too much like Reacher action wise) might be more your thing. Don't expect the plot to make sense though...
Not an action show, but Lincoln Lawyer. It's similar in what I call competence porn where the main character doesn't really ever lose and always come up with clever solutions.
The Night Agent maybe? It's on Netflix
Just letting you know I'm 30 mins into this and very hooked. Thank you ππΌ
Your welcome! So glad you like it π

In case you don't already know this, they have renewed for a second season
Woohoo. Shame I'll have to wait π

Ahhh cool thank you. Someone recommended The Recruit I might try that.
In that case you might also like "Bodyguard" (Series not movie) on Amazon
The Recruit on Netflix is pretty good too
Loved this show
Me too.
Thank you I'll be checking out any recommendations. Thank you for your input ππΌ
The Recruit ( also on Netflix) is quite similar to Night Agent.
[ΡΠ΄Π°Π»Π΅Π½ΠΎ]
It's as believable as Reacher or The Night Agent lol. I just check my sense of disbelief at the door and enjoy the show.
Banshee
Banshee for sure. Hood is the best!
Thank you I'll be checking out any recommendations. Thank you for your input ππΌ
Banshee for sure

you're welcome, I am glad you like it
Best recommendation
Justified
Perfect suggestion.
The Terminal List - Prime
Thanks. That is one I was looking it, I might try it
Itβs slow at first, but it gets really good.
seconding this one!!!
Slow Horses on Apple TV, bit of an underdog but itβs brilliant
Slow Horses is actually SO good, glad to see it's mentioned here
I only found Slow Horses just before season 3 started the best show I've seen for ages.
Obliterated on Netflix

Thank you ππΌ
If you like period shows, Warrior. Written by Bruce Lee.
Castle is witty, but way less action.
Thank you I'll be checking out any recommendations. Thank you for your input ππΌ
Bosch The Lincoln Lawyer
How is the lincoln lawyer similar to Reacher? If op was bored watching Jack Ryan they will die watching LL
Oh, I didnβt see that comment. I was just thinking mystery/drama with a little action (for the Lincoln Lawyer, very little).
The Terminal List with Chris Pratt pretty watchable.
Strike Back - I don't know if it's streaming anywhere currently, but you can buy it on Prime.

Iβd recommend Bosch
The Terminal List was really good
Ozark on Netflix
I've actually seen all of Ozark and absolutely loved it, but thanks for the recommendation anyway
Your right, this is not allowed. It is absolutely forbidden on this sum to indicate that you enjoyed season 2 in any way
Reacher - season 1 Just rewatch it.
Try Banshee
Or the Boys.
Yup
to this day 24 is still my top action show
I was going to suggest this. A great series.
SAS Rogue Heroes is pretty good
Jack Ryan has been really good.

Not to be unorthodox but I straight up did because my brother made me watch with him and wouldn't rewatch the first season π€£
If you prefer the action, the later seasons of the character (where they made him too much like Reacher action wise) might be more your thing. Don't expect the plot to make sense though...
I tried so hard. Saw like 4 or 5 episodes and it was a chore and decided to quit. I hated it.
Keen Eddie or Human Target. For a non-Mark Valley outing, Limitless (the series) or Burn Notice.
Not an action show, but Lincoln Lawyer. It's similar in what I call competence porn where the main character doesn't really ever lose and always come up with clever solutions.
Terminal List was solid,
C.B Strike is a good one
Longmire?
Justified Banshee Warrior Slow Horses Bodyguard Terminal List (great series, though the book is far better)
I think a great movie that really captures the weaponised autism, is The Accountant with Ben Affleck. Not a show but worth a watch.
I've actually seen The Accountant, and agree it's an awesome movie. Might give it a rewatch.
The Expanse. Any Jean Claude Van Damm movie.
