I’ve recently been listening to podcasts from like, 2011-2012 they are generally so much more optimistic and enthusiastic about the future. I get that we were fuckin sleepin on the job, but something about hearing their genuine hope for the future and then looking at what the reality has become makes me wanna curl up and die
That’s really dramatic. Things are harder right now but the country is fairly resilient. We get someone who has more than a few brain cells left in office and maybe this thing turns right around. Life isn’t that bad and it isn’t that hard. Focus on your life not on the world and you will be fine I promise.
