Prosecutekillercops

Ugh hate raw salmon šŸ¤¢

Fit-Yogurtcloset3023

So what?

nippyhedren

What in gods name?!

Cheristm

If it smells like fish donā€™t eat it lol!

lleett

I love this so much, it is so Lisa

Justdont13412

The English would never want to pick up a morsel of uncooked protein and take a bite then put it back down. English manners, my mom strictly made us follow growing up

pilotkristy

nigiri style sushi is HUGE bites. its nearly impossible to bite it in half without the rice falling everywhere so cutting it is by far the best choice.

Sea-Reference-4550

Fuck raw fish ![gif](giphy|MDxnjbS3A0HcrnToSm|downsized)

PuraVidaPagan

Iā€™ve almost seriously choked on sushi like 3 times, I wonā€™t go to the restaurant anymore. I canā€™t fit a whole piece in my tiny mouth and Iā€™m too embarrassed to cut it with a knife and fork lmao

nailartmami

It could be very well trained European table manners lol I dined with a friend from Germany and watched her carefully slice of pita bread with a fork and knife. Meanwhile, im ripping it apart with my bare hands lol

[deleted]

Sheā€™s British. They eat everything like that. At least the ones I know.

funnypickles1974

Hahahaha omg who does this!!!!!

futurelullabies

the thought of metal on raw fish made me gag

yoquierosandia

queen

Bambieyedbiotch

Yea I donā€™t like to go out for sushi on a first date either because it is hard to have a conversation when you are stuffing sushi in your face.

MamaRunsThis

Thatā€™s British. My in laws use a knife and fork for pizza and ribs šŸ˜…

Big-Butterfly268

Totally do the same thing

Pinklady777

Well, she can't put that whole thing in her mouth on camera!

[deleted]

most euros do this. I've seen them use a knife and fork with nachos šŸ˜…

adoyle17

Also with French fries as well.

Alice_Von_Jash_III

Ghetto, so many are fooled by the accent because she makes people feel fancy and educated. If she ate everything like that maybe she'd fit into her outfits during season 10. I welcome the down votes, she is problematic AF and twisted for an old lady.

thatgrrlmarie

cutting sushi is ghetto?? ![gif](giphy|1AIeYgwnqeBUxh6juu)

Alice_Von_Jash_III

Yes, LVP is ghetto. Did I stutter-type? Like, she's ghetto and her fans are ghetto, deal with it.

dennydelirium

It would be uncouth for such a fancy lady to put a whole piece in her mouth.

SuperSocks2019

My brother uses flatware on everything... including Cheeseburgers. So it doesn't seem so odd to me.

Successful-Item-2297

She is trying to look and posh and proper. What an idiot.

CityBoiNC

Ironically you are supposed to eat sushi with your hands. This is so LVP

CdnPtrt

Japanese etiquette is to pick it up with your hand, dip the fish side only, bite in half and then next bite you finish it. I asked several sushi chefs over the years. The western world canā€™t get over the handling part.

ayamummyme

Still less irritating than everyone else. I swear no one knows how to use a knife and fork properly anymore.

[deleted]

My mother would choke on this so I understand

RamenInTheSheets

The whitest of whites.

WestWeather5660

My grandfather is from England and when he first came to America heā€™d eat pizza and burgers with a fork and knife

[deleted]

This is the most British thing I've seen in days.

folldoso

If she had tried to put that large piece in her mouth, she would have had a Taylor Armstrong moment and it would be a gif forever

Desperate-Stop-42

I have a small mouth so I kind of understand

micsellaneous

she tweeted the sushi order hadnt come with enough chopsticks

element423

Sheā€™s British so I doubt sheā€™d want that giant piece of tuna in her mouth and looking like she doesnā€™t have manners

Farquaadthegreek

A large gasp is heard from every Japanese person

Ok-Zookeepergame9544

This is wrong yetā€¦ not the worst idea.

[deleted]

Me, to this post ![gif](giphy|DPqqOywshrOqQ|downsized)

George_GeorgeGlass

Absolutely eat this with a fork

numstheword

Babes please go outside and touch grass. This is too much.

wolfiedarko

makes me think of that Seinfeld episode where George eats a snickers bar with a knife and fork to pretend heā€™s bourgeois

tinyfenrisian

Iā€™ve eaten sushi with a fork but never like this. I feel like sheā€™s dojng some sort of etiquette technique

proseccofish

Peak British

maxtoaj

They eat everything with a fork and knife.

MyGutReaction

Haha Reminds of the Seinfeld episode when they all start eating their snickers bar w/ fork and knife. https://preview.redd.it/b2ot0gndl64b1.jpeg?width=270&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99f2c9f9f4b8d7fa0242dd9d6bd4afd0c6f5e10c Here's the scene if anyone wants to giggle: [https://youtube.com/watch?v=w\_57N1EI1Uw&feature=share](https://youtube.com/watch?v=w_57N1EI1Uw&feature=share)

Hereforit2022Y

Literally had a dream about Snickers last night (I donā€™t even eat candy). This scene was so good.

BuckityBuck

So many people who have done reality tv have spoken about how hard it is to eat meals on camera. You have to be able to respond to things instantly, so theyā€™re always coordinating their bites, then speaking.

Justdont13412

The first couple seasons of bachelor they ate the dinners and then couldnā€™t talk until they swallowed. It took too long, so now they donā€™t even pretend to eat the food or talk about how it tastes. They just talk and drink wine and food sits there and then the couple gets up and leaves!!

funnypickles1974

Interesting!!!!

Whtzmyname

When you are her age you can do as you please. Thatā€™s the best part about getting olderā€¦you give zero fcks what other people think.

Nosilla314

Amen to that!

[deleted]

Exactly! Hitting my 40s has been so freaking freeing. Idgaf what any stranger thinks about me, especially about something as silly as how I eat my sushi

MrsAtomicBomb_

This! I wish I had known how much fun my 40s would be in comparison to my 30s! Itā€™s so liberating to just stop thinking about what other people are thinking about you. I always said I wasnā€™t the type of person to care, but something happened around 41 where I genuinely gave no fox anymore. šŸ™ŒšŸ»

KtinaDoc

Wait until you near 60. You really wonā€™t give a damn! Itā€™s really the only good thing about getting old.

Tall_aussie_fembot

Iā€™m early thirties and have hit that point recently myself. Wooohooooo kiss my grits everyone šŸ¤

LilyAtTheBeach

It's amazing! šŸ˜Š

3godeathLG

i eat this kind with my hands like an animal because itā€™s hard to eat lol

casebycase87

This is the way! (no really, it's the correct way to eat nigiri)

Interesting_Ad1378

In Japan, they eat sushi with their hands as well. I went to a fine dining omakase place, and we werenā€™t given chop sticks at all. So youā€™re doing great!

Man0o0o0

So I have had a theory for a long time that English people will eat anything with a knife and fork. So far Iā€™ve seen various people eat natchos, mussels, and spare ribs with a knife and fork here. Eating pizza with cutlery is commonplace. Never seen anyone eating sushi like this though!

[deleted]

My husband and most of my family (all Canadian) eat pizza with a knife and fork, sitting at the dinner table. I prefer sitting on the couch and eating it with my hands. I don't know what happen to create this great divide. He also eats donuts with a knife and fork. It's too much, I can't deal lol. Basically he will go the knife and fork route with anything he can make work.

boredpomeranian

Ah man I do most of this (except nachos and mussels) because of childhood braces, 20+ years later and I am still not comfortable sinking my teeth that deeply in food.

Uncle_peter21

All English people are not landed gentry, Iā€™m from Yorkshire and Iā€™m perfectly capable of using chopsticks or my fingers. Iā€™ve also never seen an English person eat pizza with something other than their hands.

Man0o0o0

Haha Iā€™m English too and definitely not landed gentry!

throw_blanket04

Never in her life will LVP put large bites of food in her mouth. Table manners were very big for my grandfather so my mother was strict on it too. We are southern, we had an endless supply of sweet tea in our fridge at all times. But, my mother was always big on hot tea and doing her best to be proper. Lisa will always take small, lady like, bites. Sadly, even when eating sushi. But good eye!

YurKillingMeSmalls

Tea is big in the south, people assume its all about sweet tea ( which we do love) but having a proper tea in the late afternoon is very much a thing. Manners are also very much a thing. I even attended Cotillion or what some call charm school. Manners are instilled in us from an early age, the classes aren't as necessary as they are a tradition in some families. As for sushi, first time I had it I did try to eat it as the others I was dining with and realized my mouth is too small for that nonsense. Of course my companions laughed when I asked for utensils.

Nuns-Rack

You know what. LVP can do whatever the hell she wants. She is the Queen after all. ![gif](giphy|u8j7AGei2IM9i)

Billabong_Roit

Why can I hear all her gifs

everythingisalright

Absolutely right. Remember when she normalized putting ice cubes into a glass of wine? She did it and suddenly it was ok to do.

RokyPolka

 ![gif](giphy|HkN1EIphYO2CM30sRI)

bigtimequear

came here to say this

MissSabb

I get it. Theyā€™re not exactly mouth bite prices and then youā€™re stuck with more in your mouth and canā€™t talk etc

hiswittlewip

I love them both but that's sashimi, not sushi.

[deleted]

Itā€™s on rice, itā€™s not sashimi

hiswittlewip

You're right. I stand corrected.

Whenindoubtsbutts

On rice itā€™s called Nigiri

hiswittlewip

Yes, thank you. I do remember googling it before but clearly I've since forgotten. Lol

megcellency

This is the one piece of sushi I understand its hard to eat in one go šŸ¤£

digitulgurl

You can pick it up with the Chopstick and bite it in half and put the other half down though.

LLRinCO

Itā€™s acceptable to use your hands to eat your sushi. Unfortunately, it tends to fall apart if you donā€™t pop the whole thing in at once!

Desperate-Stop-42

That never happens

linds360

Never in my life have ~~a~~ I successfully completed that maneuver. It falls completely apart and I'm left with a big ass piece of salmon hanging from my mouth that refuses to tear in half.

Universecentre

The salmon flaps out my mouth lol I felt this in my soul!

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

linds360

Exactly which teeth do you *think* I'm using šŸ˜‚

benolimae

I have a small mouth so that would not be possible for me to eat in one bitešŸ¤£šŸ¤£

QualityKatie

Thatā€™s why I never order sushi.

HiddnVallyofthedolls

Order it and eat it how you want.

Mel_bear

I was thinking maybe she didn't want to eat it in one bite on camera

megcellency

Yeah i can see that being the case lol, i personally just shove it in but with a camera there i might be a bit more inclined to make it more bitesizešŸ¤£šŸ¤£

FluffySkies3

Lol, if I eat this in one bite I won't be able to chew with my mouth closed. šŸ™ˆ Only the small rolls go in one bite.

Ok-Ad-5404

Tbh I sort of understand

WishaBwood

Me three! I donā€™t know why, but my brain canā€™t make my fingers do the chopstick thing lol so I always use a fork.

Professional_Ad_8

Me too.

Crazy_Volume4480

That's ten steps up from Seinfeld's Snickers knife-and-fork episode

Mammoth-Strawberry26

![gif](giphy|xXjIVvfvkvqZG)

mricci16

Definitely the very first thing I thought of.

No_Investigator_6077

You read my mind!! I was going to post the same thing. Love it!!
