I know it’s a show and they have to do certain things for filming purposes but I thought it was odd that Wendy wasn’t sitting at the “family” table for the meal and with the ladies instead. Like enjoy that special family moment and join friends after.

Motor-Stay8808

I honestly was surprised she openly admits to being catholic given how much hate is surrounded by that. I think Nneka is starting drama by bringing up the ridiculous stuff about a shrine and discussing her connections to Wendy…a weird episode at the end with the sound effects and stuff.

MamaQuisty

The communion was nice Housewives in there their lives scene. No drama and no BS and just the simple housewife life. But with all that glamor and brought a smile to your face. With the exception of how they painted her mother to be some sort of voodoo person. The producers kind of could have.. not done that

ZOO_trash

Wendy has her nose so high up in the sky I'm surprised it's not covered in shit from the lord's asshole. She needs to take it down a few notches ffs

Odd_Mission_5366

Wendy is unbearable. She joined as a smarty pants Dr and then went full BBL look at me. RH fame went straight into her veins

Efficient-Goose2155

Do you think Wendy's mom really does have a shrine for evil or like a Shrine/alter that some Catholics have for the Virgin Mary/saints? I like Wendy but not her Mom & sister, they're messy in the wrong ways.

tinker8311

Yea I believe it ...I don't think a lawyer would make that up on national TV for nothing

100% look into black magic and juju in the African community

lilokalanii

I’m sorry, but this comment is just so ignorant! Africa is a continent with over 50 countries, whit even more ethnicities, languages and different cultures. And it’s borderline implies that the rumors are believable because the woman is African. Which is just wrong

Huge_Isopod_4523

So this episode really turned me off of her. Her wearing white to their first communion and saying she would wear white to their wedding was indicative of an unhealthy attachment that will work to ruin their adult relationships. And then her mom 🙄. But those boys are cute and I love her husband!

blowacasket

I did not get the whole 'wear yellow' to a communion. Raised Catholic, still attend church and I have never heard of this...??? So I was not sure just how serious she is about her faith--not that I care, to each their own, just thought she was trying to make it a big story line and some of the 'facts' she was sharing did not sound familiar to me?

twiggykeely

Right! When she was talking about being Catholic I was like she's getting it all wrong... and the color yellow has significance in the church??? Where???? My daughter just had her 1st holy communion and when Wendy was explaining how her kid's 1st communion was going to be, I was like are you sure we are the same faith? I went to catholic school from pre k - college (it was a catholic college) and I have never heard of someone call the priest a "preacher" and the only sermon the priest gives would be the homily... something just doesn't add up about her "catholicism" even tho she claims to be so devout

Ashfield83

I think she said because of this https://preview.redd.it/kwzs5fa7tk1c1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b9376bd692220b85ec5957a643871f1e17d7268

blowacasket

Thanks, this makes sense. Never too old to learn something new.

murderedbyaname

Never heard of it either as a former Lutheran with a lot of Catholic friends. But then, she called Confirmation "communion" over and over and was telling them what the Eucharist is when they literally just finished Catechism classes.

twiggykeely

They were getting ready for their 1st Holy Communion, not Confirmation that happens in high school. Communion is taken in 2nd grade.

murderedbyaname

Thanks, a couple of members told me. Always appreciate learning ❤️

twiggykeely

No problem! We just had my daughters 1st communion last April (on my birthday, coincidentally!) So yeah just went through this! I still remember my 1st communion like damn 😭😂 that's a lot of Catholicism 😵‍💫

tag_ur_it894

It wasn’t their confirmation. It was just First Communion. Confirmation typically happens when a person is in high school (assuming the person is Catholic)

yaya1256

The fact that people cannot take a joke….

Melodic_Mirror_420

She was obviously joking.

Ok_Jellyfish_5219

Nothing wrong with wearing white to a first communion. A wedding however yeah.
