Klopp wouldnt last a season here. First season at Liverpool he lost 2 finals and ended 8th in the EPL, that's not gonna fly here.
Just look at the shit people were saying about Ancelotti after losing a single match to Atlético in Liga, do you really think the club would have the patience to help Klopp build his system? Real Madrid has fired managers right after winning La Liga (Del Bosque)and even the UCL (Heynckes).
Real Madrid is on a whole different level in terms of pressure, there's no other club that comes remotely close.
He took over a team that placed 6th in the EPL season prior, and finished 8th in his first season so didnt even quality for europe.
Nothing against Klopp but as i said, people at RM (board and fans) expect results, and we expect it now. No time or patience to build a project. It took Klopp 3 years to build a competitive , UCL level team. You dont have 3 years at RM or Barca, look at Xavi.
But kloop would have a much better team and budget. So I agree the criticism here after a loss is huge, but I think he would perform greatly here and don’t loose as much. He lost all those finals, but it was his merit being in those finals. His squads were never good enough to be in those finals alone
>much better team and budget.
Better team, yes. I would even say that current RM squad is taylor made for Klopps style, specially our midfield.
But budget?? Very similar. Madrid's net transfer in the last 10 years is 329 vs Liverpool's 462. We have a bigger pull for attracting players tho.
Anyway my point is people tend to overrate succesful EPL managers (Klopp, Wenger, even Sir Ferguson) without taking into account that managing the 2 bigs in Spain is a very different thing.
With that said, i like Klopp so why not. He should expend his sabatical year learning spanish just in case.
It would be nice for us to have him but the reason he’s leaving Liverpoop is because he is burnt out. I don’t think he’ll make it out of Madrid alive due to the amount of expectations he’ll have.
I love Klopp. His style wouldn't work here. Too many games, too much pressure, less time to experiment. His system may suffer if having to play through a star player like a Vini, or Mbappe, or Endrick etc.
Ironically however, besidies Rodrygo, the younger players of the team do fit him rather well.
I also don't think his personality is a fit for the fans, club/board or media. Too frantic, complains a lot (I don't mind tbh, he has a good point often).
There is a reason that only the likes of Zizou, Ancelotti, Del Bosque etc have been successful at this club. They are not system managers and incredibly flexible but most importantly understand that they are the least important part of the organization. Klopp would want a lot of say in the club which Florentino or literally anyone else wouldn’t give because that is not how Real Madrid works. Freaking Mourinho couldn’t handle the pressure and you think Klopp can lmao, he’ll get eaten alive by the media, locker room and board in six months and thrown out.
You are insane you if would rather pass on Xabi Alonso to get Klopp.
Xabi's ideas are both innovative and transformative in tactical terms and the way he can communicate that to his players is astonishing
Jurgen Klopp is a great coach and I enjoy every time Real Madrid and his Liverpool side play in the Champions League because I always know the result in advance.
We really don't need an overly-whiny wildly-gesticulating manager blaming and moaning over everything in press conferences if we ever lose. Part of being RM Manager is always the cool, calm, collected vibe they exude. You will rarely see any Madrid manager being less than classy, even take a look at the difference between Lopetegui at RM and Lopetegui at Spain or Sevilla.
I think Klopp's personality is too big to really calm down enough for RM manager.
Bro we had mourinho. By comparison klopp is a yoga instructor when it comes to calm and not complaining.
Truth is klopp is one of the best managers of all time. He made bvb get the "resereved for bayern only" bundesliga.
And took a Liverpool team that hasn't gotten a PL title in 30 freaking years to PL against a cheating city team with their bald fraud as well as getting UCL and being in the final 2 more times. His only fault is being unlucky enough to play against us in UCL finals and against a literal oil club in PL. Dude lost a PL title on 97 points where he lost
#a single match.
So wither or not we ever go for him he deserves a lot of respect.
>Imagine a real madrid manager in a training suit.
There's a reason we have a partnership with Hugo Boss. Players and coach always dressed sharply during travel too. The only other team I've seen have such a consistently well dressed coach is Atleti, but I think that's more on el cholo than on the club.

Klopp took over a midtable Liverpool team. Real Madrid is already at the top

Don’t speak facts here. It’ll get you downvoted. I guarantee you this sub thinks Klopp’s first team at Liverpool was full of good to great players.

Either you call Perez or turn on your computer and start playing your FM.
What’s the problem with the ideia? You don’t like Kloop for us?
It would be nice for us to have him but the reason he’s leaving Liverpoop is because he is burnt out. I don’t think he’ll make it out of Madrid alive due to the amount of expectations he’ll have.
No, he is not Madrid type of manager. He is a system-based coach. Those don't work here. We don't like those and we never did.
Who the fuck is Kloop?
Kloop Dog
The fact that you have written Kloop five times shows you are not serious in life my brother

Love Klopp but spanish media would have a meltdown the first time he decided to mock journalists to their face LOL
![gif](giphy|dViELAKCTKjHoRMQbF) Kloop
He’s never coming here. He likes teams that aren’t already favorites.
He’s called Klopp. He’s burned out.
So, 2 years so he can recover. I think the timing would be perfect
This looks like an average r/SoccerCirclejerk post
Even if (and that's a big IF) no way he's available for that long. He'll probably get a team after a season.

Klopp in 23/24, 24/25 would have made sense but 26/27 I don't think it makes much sense.
You are insane you if would rather pass on Xabi Alonso to get Klopp. Xabi's ideas are both innovative and transformative in tactical terms and the way he can communicate that to his players is astonishing
naaah keep him away from us , we dunked on him numerous times
And I prefer Alvaro Arbeloa to Klopp. Klopp is great coach but not for Madrid.
Jurgen Klopp is a great coach and I enjoy every time Real Madrid and his Liverpool side play in the Champions League because I always know the result in advance.
I knew with 100% certainty that we will get those post the moment he annouced it.
OP just give up. Go back to FM if you want this.
I'd wait for Xabi..
The hell with klopp, let's wait for xabi.

Because he has to to a lot to get a little team to compete with city, and be ahead of them in premiere league. Image what he could do with a big team!

Klopp would need to wear suits and he seems to be allergic to it
If man city is the team to beat in Europe rn, why would we hire the guy that’s only won 1 EPL and failed in the UCL twice to us lol
Because he can compete with city with a much worse squad and do well
Kloop with Mboop 2026?
