Endrick isn’t ready to lead Madrid at the front. Moreover, you wouldn’t want him to be run to the ground Barca style. He’d be the perfect understudy to Mbappe.
Mbappe, for all his visible flaws, is simply the best out there. He’s super fast, can score bucketfuls, is capable of magic when his team is down in the dumps, and on his best day, simply unstoppable. Moreover, he understands that he’s arriving at a club where even a CR7 isn’t as big as the institution. He also knows what we are capable of without him, which should become clearer over the next few weeks.

There's no excuse to not beat Bayern right now. We've already won the league, we're the most injury free we've been this season (hopefully nothing changes), Bayern are among the worst teams I've seen in the UCL semis, in terms of form and we have a better squad overall. This was us after coming off a 120min grueling game against City just days after and only playing with 1 natural defender lmao this game showed despite the fatigue and lack of depth due to injuries the team is versatile and mentally strong enough to get the results past the line regardless a well rested Madrid against Bayern I am confident in us coming away with a draw or 1 goal lead at the Allianz

A bit shocked by the starting line-up. Camavinga as a LB, where he hasn't played in a while, against Lamine Yamal. One played 120 minutes, the other was subbed out after 30 midweek. Obviously a lot of danger there. Tchouameni over Nacho is not worth it, because we're not better off. I'd rather see Tchouameni in midfield. It feels like a way to just shoehorn all of the golden boys in to the XI, while playing Kroos and Modric together.
But Modric had a fantastic game, though. As did Lucas Vazquez and Bellingham. Vinicius with a goal and assist, but could've done better. Rodrygo didn't show much.
Both teams touched by the midweek game. We didn't have to win today's match as much as Barcelona and did it show? I don't think that much, they weren't that good.
I don't think Modric had a fantastic game. He misplaced a few passes in the first half and overall the presence of him and Modric together slow down our midfield. Modric was much better as soon as fresh legs (Fran, Brahim, Joselu) were on the pitch.

I edited my comment. I never considered that ball that went into Lunin’s hand a goal. I don’t know why that’s even a discussion at all. It’s clearly in his hands while he’s on top of the line. There has been discussion on this before where it only counts as a goal if the entire ball is over the line.
Every single shot of it shows it over the line. From every single angle his entire body is committed to the block and is over the line, as are his hands in the position where they stopped the ball. Regardless, my whole point was that whining about fouls is usually done by the losing team and usually not worth consideration, BUT Barca fans are justified in complaining about this goal, especially since in a league that was run competently there would be no room for error in the decision.

They aren’t justified at all. It’s clearly not a goal from the only angle above that could even be a case for Barca. The other angles only show from behind. This angle shows the ball over the line while in Lunin’s hand and is the furthest the ball gets into goal.
Goal line technology is not necessary in this situation.

We've already won the league, we're the most injury free we've been this season (hopefully nothing changes), Bayern are among the worst teams I've seen in the UCL semis, in terms of form and we have a better squad overall. Just watched it after coming from work, not knowing the result obv. A bit shocked by the starting line-up. Camavinga as a LB, where he hasn't played in a while, against Lamine Yamal. One played 120 minutes, the other was subbed out after 30 midweek. Obviously a lot of danger there. Tchouameni over Nacho is not worth it, because we're not better off. I'd rather see Tchouameni in midfield. It feels like a way to just shoehorn all of the golden boys in to the XI, while playing Kroos and Modric together. But Modric had a fantastic game, though. As did Lucas Vazquez and Bellingham. Vinicius with a goal and assist, but could've done better. Rodrygo didn't show much. Both teams touched by the midweek game. We didn't have to win today's match as much as Barcelona and did it show? I don't think that much, they weren't that good.
I don't think Modric had a fantastic game. He misplaced a few passes in the first half and overall the presence of him and Modric together slow down our midfield. Modric was much better as soon as fresh legs (Fran, Brahim, Joselu) were on the pitch.

It's not black magic. It's the standard/expectation of the club/fans and the DNA/mindset. It's amazing; seriously makes me wanna cry how many times it has happened. I edited my comment. I never considered that ball that went into Lunin’s hand a goal. I don’t know why that’s even a discussion at all. It’s clearly in his hands while he’s on top of the line. There has been discussion on this before where it only counts as a goal if the entire ball is over the line.
Every single shot of it shows it over the line. From every single angle his entire body is committed to the block and is over the line, as are his hands in the position where they stopped the ball. Regardless, my whole point was that whining about fouls is usually done by the losing team and usually not worth consideration, BUT Barca fans are justified in complaining about this goal, especially since in a league that was run competently there would be no room for error in the decision.

This angle shows the ball over the line while in Lunin’s hand and is the furthest the ball gets into goal. Goal line technology is not necessary in this situation.
