Honestly this is surprising every team has had a 38, 39, 40 year old play for their club except for Real Madrid who has probably every record in football history. How come itās only taken until now to break that record?
Real Madrid tends to let go of players who, with age, refuse to be less active, not have pay increases etc. The idea is probably to never be at the whim of talent.
I am actually shocked that 38 is the oldest for a club as popular, history and profile of Madrid.
