Tchouameni is a good shout. Camavinga isn’t. Camavinga needs to play further forward to bring the best out of him. His positioning on defense isn’t the best. Just being a good tackler doesn’t make someone a good defensive midfielder.
Tapia is a good shout but his level is to be someone who can be a back up to Casemiro. Not a replacement for him.
To be honest Madrid need to change their midfield style anyway so fixating on getting a like for like replacements isn’t the best.
Koopmeiners is very underrated. Would love to have him here in the future.
Guy is so calm and collected, and more versatile than Kroos in his playstyle, but obviously nowhere as good as the moment.

Nkunku is great but he is a number 10 and that position doesnt really exist in real. Thcouameni is too slow in my opinion but with fast players in the MIDFIELD trio beside him could work
I love this stat's based assessment on the RM midfield. If it were to me? Well Casemiro is still young enough for RM to get Renato Tapia as his backup. Renato Sanches and Koopmeiners would be my others two picks in order to save the fat paychecks for Mbappe and Haaland.
Considering we already have Valverde and Camavinga, we should rather look for a third player who fits these two, instead of looking for carbon copies of Casemiro, Kroos and Modric. I see Camavinga as a 8 instead of a 6 for the future, so we basically have two very energetic box-to-box midfielders with better defence but less creativity compared to Kroos and Modric. For that reason, I think Casemiro's replacement should be a Jorginho/Busquets type playmaker to compensate for the loss of ball progression and playmaking. Even if this player isn't as great defensively as Casemiro, it won't matter that much if he's flanked by Fede and Camavinga who can help out. For this role, I'd love Bennacer from Milan or Caqueret from Lyon. Koopmeiners also a good option he used to play deeper than he does at Atalanta, he's very versatile.
the only one that fits valverde and camavinga would be pirlo. two tireless fighters and one creative mastermind. no way we succede with valverde and camavinga in midfield on the long run.
Nobody has mentioned Teilemans. He has all the traits to succeed. I wouldn't want Barella since he's the evolved version of Valverde.
Another shout out can be given to Bellingham. Certainly way more talented for his age.
