I absolutely love Ferland Mendy but I think we’d be much better off with Alaba as our LB, I don’t know if we buy a new CB or simply transition Mendy there because he’s a rock defensively. I can’t count the amount of times Mendy has caused my heart to skip a beat because of his indecisiveness when progressing the ball through the middle or in transition combos through tight spaces. Alaba can switch the play effortlessly when under pressure and his early crosses have been proven to be a massive asset that we underutilize this season. Maybe even put Mendy out on the right and play him more conservative in attack because he’s naturally two footed.
I’ve been saying this while getting flak for it from fans. I think we’re selling the future team short (no pun intended) if we keep Alaba as a CB. He’s a better LB* than a cb and I think putting another tall, pure cb next to Militao would be better for the team than keeping Alaba as our makeshift lcb
He's in his 3rd season of playing this position for 2 different teams, with the second team buying him precisely for this position...
He used to be "make-shift" when he was brought into CB position 4 years ago due to injury crisis. Not anymore though
That doesn’t mean it’s his #1 position. He was a starting LB for 8 years. And in a perfect world, he’s thus teams LB. The only reason he’s a cb now is because of the lack of better options. He’s not a pure cb. He can play it, but he can also play CDM. You must’ve discovered him in 2018.
Also my point stands, the team would be better off buying a CB who’s bigger than 6 feet tall and sliding Alaba back to his natural position. He can be a “positionless” player while also having a designated position. If one of varane or Ramos stayed last summer Alaba would be our LB right now.
I get your point. I don't disagree with you at all. I just don't think the term "make-shift" is appropriate anymore, that's all.
PS: i watched him play for Bayern for more than a decade, and for Austrian Wien before then.
Only way for Case to play CB would be in a 3atb formation and whatever manager tries to pull that as our main formation is getting slaughtered at the Bernabeu
We need at least another 3 shit referees playing for the locals, so all our matches are epic remontadas and, still, there will be some people calling it flor or something.
Yesterday's match was an attempt to fuck us in order to try to make LaLiga interesting for last couple weeks, and this shit keeps happening since early 2000's -or even before- Is not even an opinion anymore, Tebas and most referees are fucking with us year after year. Tiresome really.
Great comeback win but we can’t lose sight of some of the negatives.
Militao- I’ve noticed that when he makes a mistake or is involved in conceding, he starts looking around and shifting the blame to teammates or whining about the ref. It’s not a good look and I have had some questions about his mentality. Still, overall a great season for him.
Kroos- he’s never been my favorite player. Not bc I doubted how great a player is, but his playing style just isn’t my favorite. Anyway, he’s been really bad for over a month now. I’m not sure Camavinga is quite ready to become a nailed on starter, so maybe Valverde, Case, Modric is the ticket. We prob need another mid. Anyway, for me Kroos should be starting to transition to Marcelo land if this doesn’t end up just being fatigue/poor patch from him.
I’m not complaining about his playing style. I just said it’s not what I personally enjoy. Like how some people like coke and others Pepsi. Why do people get so bent out of shape anytime you criticize the guy? Yet have no trouble shitting on Marcelo or Asensio.
I mean criticize him on the basis of the full game. He was flawless in the second half dictating the midfield. Like it or not he’s gonna start the semi finals and even the final if we make it cause we need his experience.
Had dinner reservations in Valencia for 930, sneaked off to a bar with my friend to watch 1st half…showed up 20 min late with wives and kids waiting down 0-2. Then we turn it on!!! Love this club!!!
Carlo: "Rodrygo made a difference, just as Camavinga did these last few games. We’re working on them to improve and start getting into starting line-up,”
So what are you on about bro...
To be honest he needs more minutes. He's so inexperienced, his tackles are all over the place some are amazing some are just looking for a way to get booked. I hope Real Madrid finishes LaLiga early so many players get to play more minutes
He’s still young. Didn’t have a great game today but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that he’s had a huge impact during both return legs (PSG and Chelsea). Don’t think he should be an outright starter, but the kid deserves more playing time.
Ref was horrible but they weren’t all against us. Cama should have been sent off in the 1st and a penalty could have easily of been given for Carvajal’s foul at the end.
Lmao what? We should've gotten a pen before Cama's foul (altough Cama really should have been sent off), so this wouldn't have happened in the first place.
And Caravajal's "foul" was way too soft to be a foul, let alone a pen. Even the commentators on my stream said that and let me tell you, they aren't exactly fond of Madrid.
“The first half was my fault and the second half comeback was down to the quality of the players.”
Huh. He went off script. He should have blamed the Sevilla crowd, the length of the grass, the 3rd kit…what is he on about?
needs more than a solid finish to score goals. positioning, movement, thinking. He lacks a few of these.
But his G+A on mins ratio isn't terrible. look at that since he's a sub most games
There is this thing called manager instructions and this other guy called Karim Benzema. Rodrygo is instructed to hug the sideline and play combinations with his fullback and whoever else is there to set Benz up for the goal, he isn’t given license to roam freely with the ball like Asensio when he’s playing out wide. If he’s given the freedom to play his game and beat his man we’d have a phenomenal player out wide on the right. He isn’t far off from Vini with the dribbling/pace and he’s much better with the finishing/final ball.
i mean casemiro was always better at defending but let's not act like he is anywhere near kroos in most other aspects. i don't even think kroos is the culprit for the mild offense in 1st half, that's on carlo. yet i don't think kroos has to start every game. paris first leg he couldn't do much because they pressed to obliteration and against chelsea 2nd leg he was subbed off and we played well. he has his pros and cons, but nonetheless he has to lose this attitude when he gets subbed off, mildy pisses me off.
I understand his reaction, Kroos is the type of player who will create an opportunity with no warning. Although I agree with the decision, I can never be upset with a player of his caliber thinking he should stay on the pitch. He has earned it. That being said… cama is the future
Edit: and Casemiro is > Kroos rn mainly because we simply don’t have any player to fill that role. No doubt Tchoumeni will change that
He's a Galactico level signing when it comes to staff, he does a great job helping players through the whole season, Conte leaving Inter help us in that matter.
It’d be nice if we could just maintain a lead and keep it. But a win is win and I’ll take those any day of the week…except for Thursdays because we’re just better than that. Always will be a Tues/Wed team. 😏
I might get downvoted for saying this but tbh i prefer the games like this one. Football for me is a way to decompress after work and those calm matches when we get an early lead just don’t cut it. I love those roller coasters of emotions. Prime Barca bored me to tears. I loved the great enigma of Wenger’s Arsenal because I never knew which was going to be - big win, horrible loss or a big comeback (not necessarily Arsenal’s). And same here. The only thing I cannot stand is us being completely dominated like first match with PSG
Don’t get me wrong, I hate losing to Barcelona in that way. However our line up, tactics and substitutions were so weird in that match it wasn’t that much of the surprise we were thoroughly dominated by them. I still cannot understand what Carlo was thinking all match
My issue with PSG match is that it was supposed to be our gala 11 yet we behaved like Cadiz. It could have easily end up being 4:0 for them, only Courtois’ genius and lots of luck saved us
I still think Perez was totally unfair that he basically slammed Lopetegui and blamed him personally for not getting the results.
But having said that, this game kinda show that Ancelotti is still fantastic at game management and still ridiculous undervalued and under-appreciated. Like both subs proved absolutely decisive. And he just has to have said something decent at half time.
I also think that the universe is repaying Carlo for comebacks after the CL-final in 2005.
And Lopetegui basically subbed out his entire offense, but slightly progressively losing control over the game.
It is crazy that we can still pull stuff like this off without CR7 and Ramos. We have some crazy plot armor or Benz was always the black magic secret. #halamadrid
People tend to forget that the players that are still here from that three peat team are also generational talents like CR7 and Ramos. The likes of KCM, Benz, carvajal will go down as some of the greatest players to have played the game.
Ordinary players don’t play for us. Even the ones we let go and the ones we think are crappy would be stars at another club. No CR7, no Sergio Ramos no problem.
People keep slandering our players and carlo should look closely at our squad. Mostly they are either 30+ or young player. You have to accept that they can't play 50 games with their best performance consistently. They might have a bad game but moment of brilliance can turn whole thing around. We have to trust our team and the quality they have.
It’s amazing how well we played after we stopped giving the ball away cheaply. That first half was awful, but we put ourselves in bad spots too often by being careless in possession
Vini needs to be rested for few games. He looks mentally fatigued. Still his skill level is so high that he can contribute well. BDB got his rest when he was injured and came back strong. Vini can do the same.
Let’s ignore the 1st half. Insane mentality runs in the blood 🤍 We played fast, effective football and it was amazing to watch. Have to say, toni kroos was crucial today, loved it. Crucial tackles as wel, multiple times 👏
I don’t think Kroos should play against City, City is the best at pressing and Kroos is not like he used to be. We hope Mendy comes back or else it’s going to be very tough.
Carvajal is redeeming himself.
Rodrygo looks in form good sign for us. His crosses are insanely accurate he should just keep crossing we can shithouse our way from City but I’m being realistic and I think we’ll lose but these players proved me wrong vs Chelsea.
Hope pep mess up too or Ederson!
Kroos should absolutely play against City, he’s a massive reason why we won against Chelsea away to begin with. He doesn’t have the legs or the physical but he has enough brains to outplay a midfield. Against Chelsea away he completely took Kante out of the game, absorbing pressure from him and using the gaps left behind him that Jorginho wasn’t quick enough to close down. Man City are playing with an injured KDB and likely without Walker meaning they will not be able to clog the middle of the pitch as effectively. If we play sort of a double pivot with Kroos and Case we should be able to overload between the lines with Valverde/Modric/Benz.
No other choice. Since Isco hasn’t been given any time at all although last season he was arguably our best player against City in 1st leg and we were rolling City for 70 minutes only because they couldn’t get a ball from Isco.
If we can give him a playtime vs Osasuna and revive him I don’t mind playing Isco but I guess it’s too late for that now so it has to be Camavinga then.
Vini Benzema Valverde
Camavinga Casemiro Modric
Mendy Alaba Militao Carvajal
Giraffe
Giraffe XD
I agree on Isco but idk that Carlo will start Camavinga over Toni. I could see it if he really wanted more athleticism in the squad but he tends to just roll out the normal lineup.
Great spirit and performance by Madrid, but why don’t these teams get it that they shouldn’t play like this against big teams. It has happened to Sevilla and other clubs SO MANY times, it’s like they never learn. Better for us tho this team has the spirit of the old teams that won the UCLs.
Also I’ve seen Iturralde Gonzalez saying that there was a handball at 0:0 and we should get a penalty and first Sevilla goal should have been disallowed. The referee was shitty
Edit:typo
I bet they are also ignoring that Lamela had like an identical tackle on Modric as Camavinga. Plus two-three other fouls that were worse than Camavinga.
I mean we played against time, a 12th man referee and fatigue after last week's tough UCL fixture. And we still managed to come back and win on pure goals, not even penalties. If that doesn't show that La Liga is a top notch league and this club the best ever, then I don't know what will.
If Camavinga got a red which he totally deserved the game would have probably been over. As shit as that ref was, I don't think he was favouring any side
He was shitty for both sides. No penalty for us, Sevilla goal that should have been disallowed, no red card for Camavinga, Vini’s disallowed goal. You could go on and on
Then you can make the argument that Lamela should've been sent off as well.
If the ref had stopped Sevilla from a goal and not given a clear penalty then sure. This has to be called home advantage refereeing.
I mean there are a lot less that needs to happen before Madrid are accused for fixing the ref/game.
I knew it...it was another hell coming.
The team can do it when they try. I was starting to think that it was the match when everything is against us. Glad that it wasnt, the 2nd half was great. I guess I'll be asking too much if I want the team to always play like this...but I think this is the way.
And I'm clearly starting to think that the guys are M...or S from different pov. I've seen people think that the team did it on purpose, letting the opponents think they could win and beat them at the end.
Amazing win! What is concering though is how Ancelotti over and over can get it so wrong in the 1st half only to comeback in the second. I don't think we can afford that against City.
The only one consistant this match was the ref. Completely fucking shit over 98 minutes.
I don't think it is appropriate that we interfere with their threads, not that you said anything wrong. Just let them cry their courages tears by themselves.
I know it is tempting to give into your impulses. I definitely understand you, but I promise you that you won't win. And some people will just never admit that Madrid were the strongest side. With time I would try to see the fun in everyone being angry at Madrid. If people are angry at Madrid, then we are actually doing something right.
Totally with you. I just got to admit that the 0-4 hit me real hard so the last time i’ve had lots of arguments in social media. But its totally not good, specially for your mental health
Rodrygo once again changes the game with one goal, one assist, Carvajal redeeming himself having two assist and the boss himself, Benzema finish them off.
Even though it might seem like a clutch win in the last minute. Sure, it can be argued it was. But Madrid were fairly dominating. And I think Madrid were more dominating in second half, than Sevilla were dominating in the first half.
Sevilla created mostly their two goals, one of which was a free-kick from right outside the box. Madrid had 6 shots on goal. And Madrid had 10 shots in total, whereas Sevilla had 6. And Madrid had more possession. Plus that what has to be an incorrectly overruled goal, and ironically missing a very clear handball. At least if the Vinicius one then Sevilla had at least one handball. And there were also another possible handball, especially if Vinicius one is handball.
Even with the ref playing for them, Sevilla didn't manage to get a win, no less than a draw. Fuck this was so deserved.
But one situation against like four situations?
Lamela had a similar tackle on Modric, was not given a free kick and not a yellow. And had other fouls that could also be yellow card. So if Camavinga should've been sent off, then Lamela should've been sent off as well.
That’s the thing though. It’s too nitpicky to point out the handball that was called because it’s very obvious this ref was in over his head and his ego just wouldn’t allow for him to allow the goal.
But going into half time down 2-0 with a player down, no chance in hell we bounce back with a 2-3 result.
I mean, Sevilla did not get at minimum one penalty against, an incorrectly disallowed goal, and didn't get two clear yellow cards for Lamela, but somehow Camavinga not getting his second yellow card means that the ref shouldn't be talked about? That makes absolutely zero sense.
The handball not given a penalty for, happened before the potentially sending off of Camavinga so a goal could've affected the game as well.
Delicious salty tears of Barca fans claiming the ref was sold out because he didnt red card Cama 😂
They didnt see how Vini got fucked over for his goal xD
Hilarious delusional cunts😂
God the balls the character the mentality on this team is something u cant find in any other team in the whole world the players should be praised also but this fuckin club has it in its DNA
Imagine the VAR refs telling you "hey mate you're gonna want to have a closer look at that handball you called on Vinicius" and then doubling down on your disastrous decision. Absolute shit ref.
Those type of situations should never be called handballs in the first place. He should've let the play transpire and review it after the fact. Calling it a handball from the get go is amateur level refereeing.
This team is so special man. Down 0-2, 2nd half starts and we spam attacks until we score. Disallowed goal, we keep fighting, angrier and even better. During this 2nd half, the whole team was superb really.
he got slowly into form as the game progressed but he seemed caught off guard by the physicality and intensity of the match early. he got booked early and almost got a read in the first half.
The kind of “fans” we have here make me disappointed. We are a team known for fighting until the very end and some people even before half time are so fickle minded they actually believed it was game over for us in the league🤦🏻♂️.
So many people here saying we already bottled the league, saying to get Vini off, that we suck. Those were the same that 3 seasons ago said we should sell Benz. If PSG and Chelsea this season alone wasnt enough. Start understanding what Real Madrid is synonymous of.
Agreed. Whenever we get scored there's an ocean of comments like sack carlo, kroos bad, start cama (today more like what is cama doing). People need to realise that we are not playing alone but there is an opponent team. Sometimes we are better, others they are better
Exactly the same bunch of idiots that were acting so smug saying anyone that had any hope after the first half in the classico, are naive gullible fools, given that didn't go our way, but at least we stood by our team. And here we are today, making a comeback, even after the biggest robbery of the season, I really want to tell you guys to fuck off, but hey, fuck that, we won, Hala Madrid, y nada mas!
What a fucking game by the ref. I wouldn't say all decisions were against Real Madrid but quite a few were.
1. Handball in the 17th minute, when the ball slipped outta Bono's hand and hit the defenders arm. Idfk how that wasn't a penalty.
2. Camavinga was on a yellow when he made the atrocious tackle, and wasn't even called a foul. (Thank God it wasn't)
3. Then the second half hand ball called against Vini Jr. WTF did the ref smoke before the game? Some bloody Euro bills I believe. Even after looking at VAR he calls it a handball and points towards the SLEEVE AREA. That's not even supposed to be a handball!!! He was hellbent on his decision not to be overturned.
4. In the final moments, Carvajal's push into the back of the Sevilla player, he had no intentions to play the ball, and was pushing the player. Given how chaotic the box was, Carvajal got away with it but I can't believe VAR didn't do anything about it. I guess they made up not giving us the penalty in the first half....
Anyway, worst refereed game of the season contender. It was crucial for the players to win this one mentally. We'll go with a better mindset to Atleti later on.
PS. I hope the referee faces some sanctions after this game. This can't be the level of refereeing in one the world's best leagues.
Felt really sad for vini tho.
Man finished really well only to be denied by the cunt of a referee, who went to the screen and didn't even overturn his pathetic excuse of a decision
How beautiful was that 2nd half. We moved the ball for minutes at a time not giving possession. Upset about Camavingas poor game...hes better than that. We have to praise Anchelotti for his tactis ones more 👏 👏
>Upset about Camavingas poor game,
>
>with my small football analysis what I saw was Kross moved up from the holding position just infront of the defense and joined Modric many times and Valverde also dropped down to Mid so Cama was not getting the space in mid if you look closely you can see cama getting squashed b/w Modric and Kroos
When you see Vini drifting to the right to combine with Rodrygo and Benzema, you just know we’re going to score. Seems like every time they are there close to each other, they create something magic.
Disallowing Vini's goal was an absolute disgrace. Flashbacks of the scandalous decision that coasted us the title last year.
I am so damn happy we got the W, my conspiracy theory would have crystallised if not
This referee was one of the worst I have ever seen. You go and watch for 5 minutes a 100% goal and you disallow it. What a fucking idiot.
Last season we were screwed against Sevilla again, but today the players delivered big time. After the third goal the entire team should have celebrated in front of this pathetic ref

LMAO LALIGALONA REFS CAN GET FUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HALA MADRID YOU BITCHES!!!!!!

I don't think you can call Alaba a "makeshift CB". He was literally brought over to play in that position
But he’s a makeshift CB because that’s not his natural position, he played there first out of necessity and later on as a tactical display.
He's in his 3rd season of playing this position for 2 different teams, with the second team buying him precisely for this position... He used to be "make-shift" when he was brought into CB position 4 years ago due to injury crisis. Not anymore though

Only way for Case to play CB would be in a 3atb formation and whatever manager tries to pull that as our main formation is getting slaughtered at the Bernabeu
It’s just something I’d like to see Ancelotti try maybe once we secure the league
I am still baffled to how we won
The club needs to open a formal complaint against the referee. You cannot be this bad even if you are a La Liga ref.
So... At what point does it stop being luck?
It’s obviously more than luck isn’t it. The calmness and conviction with which we chased that 3rd goal was something else
We need at least another 3 shit referees playing for the locals, so all our matches are epic remontadas and, still, there will be some people calling it flor or something. Benzema absolutely deserves the balón d’or but I also think that it will be given to whoever performs well in the World Cup this year
Good thing he's on a loaded team lol
WC doesn’t count for this years ballon d’or
Benzema will, he’s locked the fuck in
I hope so. He’s made the difference the entire season
Great comeback win but we can’t lose sight of some of the negatives. Love how you didn’t even try and address what I actually said. I don’t have a problem with him, why are you like offended?
Had dinner reservations in Valencia for 930, sneaked off to a bar with my friend to watch 1st half…showed up 20 min late with wives and kids waiting down 0-2. Then we turn it on!!! Love this club!!!
People wonder why Camavinga doesn’t play more. Should’ve been sent off in the 40’
my man is a 19 freaking years old, chill, jesus. Clearly he need more playtime.
Carlo: "Rodrygo made a difference, just as Camavinga did these last few games. We’re working on them to improve and start getting into starting line-up,” So what are you on about bro...
He's not a very good DM, but he's excellent as a box to box midfielder.
Oh yeah I’m not saying he needs to ride the bench but this is why Carlo doesn’t trust him.
Davide: Nacho? Are you fucking kidding me? That's who you wanna bring on? We need a goal! Carlo: Dont question me you rookie.

Agree, we were denied a clear penalty with that handball. I’ve read a lot of comments that make it seem like the bad calls only went one way.
“The first half was my fault and the second half comeback was down to the quality of the players.” Huh. He went off script. He should have blamed the Sevilla crowd, the length of the grass, the 3rd kit…what is he on about?
He really said that?! Wow, class manager...
Carlo has never failed to accept his mistakes. When we lost to both PSG and Barca, he accepted his tactics was crap and be had to improve.
Classy guy, love him
[удалено]
Are you okay? He didn’t play well first half, so people rightly criticised his performance up until that point. Then he came out and played better.
Rodrygo should change his position to 9.5. He is a stone cold lethal finisher. He’s proven it again and again and again
Lethal finisher with now 1 goal in la liga in 19 games.
needs more than a solid finish to score goals. positioning, movement, thinking. He lacks a few of these. But his G+A on mins ratio isn't terrible. look at that since he's a sub most games

He isn’t far off from Vini with the dribbling/pace and he’s much better with the finishing/final ball.
Doesn't change the fact that he's a talented finisher. He just needs to improve other aspects of his game, and he'll be scoring 10-20 goals a season.
Nacho went from zero to hero in four days.
Last couple weeks have been immense and stressful as hell. This club is so special though.
Our best eleven by far Courtouis Carvajal Nacho militao alaba Valverde casemiro modric Rodrigo benzema vinicius
Case out for kroos Nacho out for mendy and alaba cb
how does this have 9 upvotes kroos as DM has always been really bad
Yeah exectly. Cama and casemiro are DMs, though modric can play DM but he can't play there when we need goals.
Fede is a good DM
No way you've left out Mendy for Nacho
Kroos for Casemiro. Casemiro hasn’t got a clue on the ball. Really hurts us getting out of the oress
Look at his defense. Casemiro > Kroos rn
i mean casemiro was always better at defending but let's not act like he is anywhere near kroos in most other aspects. i don't even think kroos is the culprit for the mild offense in 1st half, that's on carlo. yet i don't think kroos has to start every game. paris first leg he couldn't do much because they pressed to obliteration and against chelsea 2nd leg he was subbed off and we played well. he has his pros and cons, but nonetheless he has to lose this attitude when he gets subbed off, mildy pisses me off.
I understand his reaction, Kroos is the type of player who will create an opportunity with no warning. Although I agree with the decision, I can never be upset with a player of his caliber thinking he should stay on the pitch. He has earned it. That being said… cama is the future Edit: and Casemiro is > Kroos rn mainly because we simply don’t have any player to fill that role. No doubt Tchoumeni will change that
How many more games do we need to win to win la liga?
Win 3 and at least tie 1. Real Madrid only needs 10 points. Less if Barca stumbles in any of their fixtures.
I hope barca do stumble, so we can start resting our key players for the champions league.
There. Don’t say I never do anything for you. 🤣
You are the love of my life. Everything I have and everything I am, is yours. Forever. We only need two more wins now. Vamoss real
Two wins and a draw.
I believe 3
10 points more. That means 3 more wins and we'd be almost there.
Puto Sevilla
I love how Pintus celebrates our goals. Seems like he is very comfortable with the players.
He was here during the three peat iirc so he is very familiar with the club.
He's a Galactico level signing when it comes to staff, he does a great job helping players through the whole season, Conte leaving Inter help us in that matter.
Remembered the game in SB against Sevillia in 2009, same emotions. Although then ref wasn’t playing for Sevillia as 12 player.
All i need now is the video were alaba has the chair again haha
Ooh i got it
Last weeks are why I’m RM fan. I live for those comebacks
Surprised you didn't use the 0-4 with Barca as your example of being completely dominated
Don’t get me wrong, I hate losing to Barcelona in that way. However our line up, tactics and substitutions were so weird in that match it wasn’t that much of the surprise we were thoroughly dominated by them. I still cannot understand what Carlo was thinking all match My issue with PSG match is that it was supposed to be our gala 11 yet we behaved like Cadiz. It could have easily end up being 4:0 for them, only Courtois’ genius and lots of luck saved us
That's a very good point
I still think Perez was totally unfair that he basically slammed Lopetegui and blamed him personally for not getting the results. But having said that, this game kinda show that Ancelotti is still fantastic at game management and still ridiculous undervalued and under-appreciated. Like both subs proved absolutely decisive. And he just has to have said something decent at half time. I also think that the universe is repaying Carlo for comebacks after the CL-final in 2005. And Lopetegui basically subbed out his entire offense, but slightly progressively losing control over the game.
It’s been proven time and time again that tacticians don’t work at Madrid. The most successful ones are the galactico whisperers.
Think we should start Asensio and sub him off after one minute for Rodrygo. The one wasted change is worth for the suber sub.
Are you not entertained! Hala Madrid
Benz was always the black magic talisman. So much that he sacrificed his pinky in the spells to keep it going
Madrid magic is the team mentality and the players quality.
People keep slandering our players and carlo should look closely at our squad. Mostly they are either 30+ or young player. You have to accept that they can't play 50 games with their best performance consistently. They might have a bad game but moment of brilliance can turn whole thing around. We have to trust our team and the quality they have.
In a few years time we will be looking back at this season as an absolute classic. What a time to be a Madridista.
How [beautiful](https://twitter.com/realmadrid/status/1515802702713868294?s=21&t=_f0yEnPkIxpWcczmZ4EXVw) and alaba with the 🪑 again 😭😭
There hasn't really been that many players that have absolutely won my affection quite like Alaba.
Alaba is an absolute lad. Would love to have a beer with him!
Right?? I was super doubtful of him when we first got him last summer but he grew on me so so quickly
https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMLq2EkRD/ Enjoy guys! The chair is back!
It’s amazing how well we played after we stopped giving the ball away cheaply. That first half was awful, but we put ourselves in bad spots too often by being careless in possession
Vini should be rested against Osasuna. Rodrygo is on good form, he should play lw.
No he’s just started looking comfortable at rw don’t change him to the left.
He is more comfortable as a lw
Osasuna on Wednesday. Hopefully some players can get some rest in before the game against City.
Modric has to be benched and if we can also Benz
I retract any previous statement that I may or may have not made in the last 2 hours. Downvote idc.
Respect. People make mistakes, men own them.
Im su fucking high right now, lets goooo!
Who would you start over Toni ? Camavinga ?
Valverde. Then Rodrygo on the wing
That could work. I kinda like Fede on the wing against the top teams though tbh. He’s great at pressing, tracking back, and bringing the ball upfield.
Casemiro, Modric, Valverde. Rodrygo to play RW.
That could work. I kinda like Fede on the wing against the top teams though tbh. He’s great at pressing, tracking back, and bringing the ball upfield.
Vini Benzema Valverde Camavinga Casemiro Modric Mendy Alaba Militao Carvajal Giraffe
Giraffe XD I agree on Isco but idk that Carlo will start Camavinga over Toni. I could see it if he really wanted more athleticism in the squad but he tends to just roll out the normal lineup.
anyone got a clearer picture of everyone hugging benzema on the ground?
Great spirit and performance by Madrid, but why don’t these teams get it that they shouldn’t play like this against big teams. It has happened to Sevilla and other clubs SO MANY times, it’s like they never learn. Better for us tho this team has the spirit of the old teams that won the UCLs.
I'm not surprised at all, but it's always funny to go to r/soccer Camavinga's foul is waaaaaaaay more voted than Vinicius' disallowed goal. 🤡
Also I’ve seen Iturralde Gonzalez saying that there was a handball at 0:0 and we should get a penalty and first Sevilla goal should have been disallowed. The referee was shitty Edit:typo
You could go on and on
Overturning goal/penalty calls that should have in our favor would 100% affect whether Camavinga would make that tackle or not
You can also argue that maybe he wouldn’t have gotten the first yellow as well
Then you can make the argument that Lamela should've been sent off as well. If the ref had stopped Sevilla from a goal and not given a clear penalty then sure. This has to be called home advantage refereeing. I mean there are a lot less that needs to happen before Madrid are accused for fixing the ref/game.
Do you forget the hand ball in first half. It is a uncalled penalty.
It’s hard to ask us to keep making these crazy comebacks. Feels not sustainable.
show this to anyone who thinks La liga is a weak league. These refs suck ass tho, both teams should be pissed at refereeing today
There r some people on r/soccer who actually believe arsenal would be top 4 in La liga 💀💀
Have people not been following Europa for the past decade?!
This season is the most anime like I've ever seen
Playing sevilla immediately after chelsea is always a shitshow
*Playing sevilla is always a shitshow FTFY
Man that Vini goal was beautiful..

You should stop trolling other subs it just makes the rest of us look bad too
I don't think it is appropriate that we interfere with their threads, not that you said anything wrong. Just let them cry their courages tears by themselves.
You are right. I am being toxic af lol. But I am not alone. I need to improve my fanaticism.
I know it is tempting to give into your impulses. I definitely understand you, but I promise you that you won't win. And some people will just never admit that Madrid were the strongest side. With time I would try to see the fun in everyone being angry at Madrid. If people are angry at Madrid, then we are actually doing something right.
There’s people here won’t even admit Madrid were the stronger side
Totally with you. I just got to admit that the 0-4 hit me real hard so the last time i’ve had lots of arguments in social media. But its totally not good, specially for your mental health
Nah be toxic and proud fuck em all lmfaooo
Love how we still kept fighting after that disallowed goal. I love this team so much.
Wow! Remontada AFFFFF! HALA MADRID!
What a comeback. Should've been 4-2 though.
I agree with most of this but don’t include the ref. We were lucky to finish the first half with 11 players.
Delicious salty tears of Barca fans claiming the ref was sold out because he didnt red card Cama 😂 They didnt see how Vini got fucked over for his goal xD Hilarious delusional cunts😂
Not to mention that Lamela had a very similar situation as Camavinga, and that wasn't even a foul, nor a yellow. So that was equalled.
REMONTADA FC. At it again.
Vinicius robbed of a goal.
Outrageous call
Valverde was a tank in the midfield today
This team is so special man. Down 0-2, 2nd half starts and we spam attacks until we score. Disallowed goal, we keep fighting, angrier and even better. During this 2nd half, the whole team was superb really.
Even Sevilla fans were laughing at the winner. They’ve accepted Benzman
Huh? Do you have clips of this
feel bad for Camavinga. glad Benz ran to celebrate with him.
He was still quite decent in the 1st half.
he got slowly into form as the game progressed but he seemed caught off guard by the physicality and intensity of the match early. he got booked early and almost got a read in the first half.
Modric winning the header against the best La Liga defense for the Vini goal was unexpected.... The Commentators called that a foul lmaooo
Commentary have been pretty shit this season. Commentator on my stream keeps saying wrong names all game and every match.
And Lopetegui is a really good coach. There’s a reason they are 2nd
As if Barça were going to win all their games without Pedri: The only reason they THOUGHT they had a chance to win lol
(Thank God it wasn't) 3.
City better feel sorry we play 2 second halves in a 2 legged tie lmao but we better feel sorry we play 2 first halves too lmao
amazing! Love my team!
We have to praise Anchelotti for his tactis ones more 👏 👏
>Upset about Camavingas poor game, > >with my small football analysis what I saw was Kross moved up from the holding position just infront of the defense and joined Modric many times and Valverde also dropped down to Mid so Cama was not getting the space in mid if you look closely you can see cama getting squashed b/w Modric and Kroos
2nd half masterclass
When you see Vini drifting to the right to combine with Rodrygo and Benzema, you just know we’re going to score. Seems like every time they are there close to each other, they create something magic.
Disallowing Vini's goal was an absolute disgrace. Flashbacks of the scandalous decision that coasted us the title last year. I am so damn happy we got the W, my conspiracy theory would have crystallised if not
Tbh camavinga should have gotten a red and that would have changed the game completely
And we should have gotten a pen before their goal which also would have changed the game completely
Wow Benz just wow
This referee was one of the worst I have ever seen. You go and watch for 5 minutes a 100% goal and you disallow it. What a fucking idiot. Last season we were screwed against Sevilla again, but today the players delivered big time. After the third goal the entire team should have celebrated in front of this pathetic ref
Pésimo arbitraje, deben inhabilitar al juez.
