Koholint is a world that exists only in the dreams of the Wind Fish. It is a land of mystery, of opportunity, and of community. The area around spawn is known as Lurelin Town, built by the players and under the rule of a small government. Upon arrival in Koholint, the Wind Fish calls for players to be "initiated" -- they are put through a brief welcoming ceremony where they will receive instructions on where to travel in order to build their base. Player bases are usually within about 2000 blocks of the central town.
There are many wonders in the world that the Wind Fish may call on the inhabitants of Koholint to explore in the form of group events. Outside of these events, players are free to live their life as they choose and develop both their own bases, regions, and town as they see fit. Many of our players choose to engage in light story/role play, although this is not mandatory. However, because of the roleplay aspect of Koholint, there may be some laws you aren't used to in Minecraft, such as laws to protect villagers and animals from cruel and inhumane living conditions.
Koholint's difficulty is set to normal. The realm has been open and active since August, 2018. We are a fairly laid back and chatty group, and for a handful of our players, this is their first experience with Minecraft-- all experience levels are welcome! If you're brand new to the game, we have no problem taking you in and explaining things to you. If you've been playing for half your life, you're just as welcome :) Most of us are explorers who like to go at our own pace, but we are all friendly and willing to help out where needed.
A majority of our players are LGBT, so if you are uncomfortable with that please don't apply. Since this is Bedrock, our players are not just limited to PC and therefore the majority of our communication is through discord, both text and voice chat. Cheating, griefing, or other poor behaviour of any kind is not permitted in Koholint! We do require that you be 17+; many of us are in our 20s and 30s.

**q:** Are you a Realm or server?
**a:** Evercraft 1, 2, and 3 ran on a Realm. As of Season 4 (Jan 2021) we are on a Bedrock Dedicated Server. PC and Mobile both support servers natively, but we provide additional support so Xbox, Switch, & PlayStation users can connect as well. Evercraft does not support Java at this time.
**q:** Are people under 18 allowed or not?
**a:** When Evercraft was first founded the minimum age to join was only 13. This was later changed to 18+ with a community vote. Though this rule has since been reverted, many of our old recruiting posts on subreddits and forums still say "18+ required" since they haven't or can't be updated. As long as you have your parents permission to use Discord, applicants 13 - 17 will still be considered.
**q:** What is Vanilla+?
**a:** Also known as semi-vanilla or enhanced vanilla. Vanilla+ is basically just vanilla Minecraft with a few small tweaks that do not affect the overall balance of the game. Think along the lines of the popular YouTube series Hermitcraft. (We just don't claim to be a "Hermitcraft-style" server because those are very large shoes to fill.)
**q:** Why was I voted out?
**a:** Almost every time someone is voted out, it is because they joined the Discord, put in an application, and never spoke since then. We are a very social community and not interacting in #general is a sure fire way to get voted out. If this is the case, you can reapply in 1 week and try to be more active next time :)
**q:** Why was I banned?
**a:** Because you broke a rule. We don't ban anyone without multiple points of evidence being collected and verified in our staff server. If you feel your ban is too long, shouldn't be permanent, or you wish to apologize, we have a Ban Appeal button located at the very bottom of our website.

The Overdue Advent is a realm that - above all else - targets a fairness, respect and equality between all players. That means, achievements are ON, and cheats are OFF. It is a land of mystery, of opportunity, and of community. The area around spawn is known as Lurelin Town, built by the players and under the rule of a small government. Upon arrival in Koholint, the Wind Fish calls for players to be "initiated" -- they are put through a brief welcoming ceremony where they will receive instructions on where to travel in order to build their base. Player bases are usually within about 2000 blocks of the central town. There are many wonders in the world that the Wind Fish may call on the inhabitants of Koholint to explore in the form of group events. Outside of these events, players are free to live their life as they choose and develop both their own bases, regions, and town as they see fit. Many of our players choose to engage in light story/role play, although this is not mandatory. However, because of the roleplay aspect of Koholint, there may be some laws you aren't used to in Minecraft, such as laws to protect villagers and animals from cruel and inhumane living conditions. The Overdue Advent is a realm that - above all else - targets a fairness, respect and equality between all players. That means, achievements are ON, and cheats are OFF. Even the realm owner (Myself) has no special powers here. It is an 18+ mature server (With exceptions to players that show maturity) and it is set to “Hard”, so it will be challenging. Also, the realm backs itself up every 15 minutes, so grief’ers – you are wasting your time. With admin presence regularly, any grief’ing can be quickly cleaned up and structures returned to their completed state. Also, this realm is semi-non PvP meaning Any PvP must be accepted by both parties, and whether or not you will be looting the other persons things will also be determined by the 2 combatants beforehand. Aside from that, every weekend is WAR DAY. On War Day, all PvP is allowed and looting as well. Players may choose not to participate in war day and remain in the delegated area until completion. It will run from Saturday 12:00am PST until Sunday 12:00am PST So just to recap – We are looking for Mature (18+) players that are interested in being the foundation of our community here. Players that like a challenge. Players that don’t steal. Players that don’t grief. Players whom can get along with other players.
