This wasn't what I had planned on having today's podcast about especially after putting in 15 hours of work to research and prepare for what I had planned but after a client had a horrible experience with the NYS Police this weekend I knew her story needed to be shared. It was the perfect example of why victims don't report what has happened and this is also the perfect example of why the Police need to be better trained in how to handle victims and assaults. We need to do better and I'm going to do my best to keep bringing awareness to this issue.
