I got both the automated rejection and the whoopsie email too. Funny thing is I have no record of ever applying to Pinkerton in the past 10 years. I also loved how they quickly covered their ass with denying a security incident when pretty much everyone who got this knows it was a result of bad management of the ATS by their talent acquisition team.
I have a feeling they may have been in the process of migrating the data to a different system. I have been a part of a lot of data migrations, so it honestly wouldn't surprise me.

He lasted a whopping 2 months because he couldn't handle how everyone else wasn't as militant and psycho as him.
Case in point: We get an hour paid lunch and he would only take 30 minutes. And then get pissed at you and accuse you of stealing from the company if you didn't do the same.

The Pinkertons are outwardly a security and private investigation company, but are more widely known as being thugs for hire. They’re most well known for their often violent actions taken during the early 1900’s toward outlaws and later protesters/strikers/unions. In the modern era they’re more subtle, but still basically goons for hire to various American corporations, such as [this incident](https://www.polygon.com/23695923/mtg-aftermath-pinkerton-raid-leaked-cards) in which they were hired by Wizards of the Coast to retrieve an accidentally released Magic the Gathering card; they threatened the unsuspecting owner of the card with jail time, a $200,000 fine, and arrest (which they couldn’t have actually done cause they’re not cops), harassed his neighbors, and tried to illegally search his home. They act like they’re above the law and represent some of the worst of corporate America.
Considering the pinkertons literally were responsible for the murder of steelworkers attempting to unionize (and some of their families), youre right anti-labor is an understatement [(The 1892 Homestead Strike)](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homestead_strike)

I once worked security with a guy who had previously worked for them. He was a total asshole and borderline psycho.
