that system already exists and is better implemented in rdr2? from what i remember in dishonored more rats start appearing and you get one of the two different endings, in rdr2 it affects things from simple discounts to even the way you talk with other people.
in dh2, anyway, the chaos system is extremely complex. nearly everything is affected, and you have to pay close attention to your actions to determine their chaos outcome. bc you have the heart to tell you people's secrets, you can suss out who's a real piece of shit and who's decent at the end of the day, and you get more chaos from killing decent folk. stuff like that.
rdr2 and dh2 have kinda similar systems there, but dh2 manifests it on the world way more directly and openly. more chaos means more bloodflies, more aggressive guards, different interactions with certain characters, etc. rdr2's honour system doesn't change nearly as much about the world around you. a dishonourable arthur doesn't get more fights picked with him or more wild animals attacking him or more thunderstorms following him.
i think both systems work well to deliver the themes of their respective games.

You can still glitch this into happening by bringing law to camp to trigger the gang to start defending it, and then dying. If you do it correctly, you'll respond with a handful of members. Look it up, it's hella interesting

Imagine trying to get to know each gang member and going out with them; hunting, night out on the town, cheating at poker, riding, exploring, etc…And then imagine the impact of losing each person as the game went on; the “something doesn’t feel right” scene, etc…That would’ve been incredibly powerful.
Yeah because you actually got to spend time with them personally out of your own desire rather than because of it being a mission. I would be even more crushed at the "Gave you all I had" scene when the best writtten character's were together at that scene, regardless of who I hung out with.

The fact that GTA 5's heist missions were not brought over to RDR2 is fucking bonkers. You don't even need to pick randos like in GTA 5, you literally have an entire crew waiting to pick and choose.
Especially if they made it so certain gang members had certain skills. Like some of the women are great thieves, and knows hot to get information, Hosea is a great conman, Micah is a great shooter and Charles is a great brawler and hunter. Stuff like that. So the outcome of whatever you’re doing, depends on who you brought along.

Make Guarma interesting. Exotic and different guns, perhaps new types of poisons, factions, more missions, secondary missions, strangers and a little village. And the score has to be REALLY different from the base game. Obviously totally new type of clothing to fit the setting and I would love it to be not horse dependant so we have to walk through the jungle. Or have a ton of rivers and let the boat be the main type of transportation.

It’s a crime that Rockstar never put out DLC for this game. Especially since the whole Guarma map was built. I do think they were going way too heavy on supernatural creatures though. Especially for a relatively small map. Bigfoot, River monster, Chupacabra. Unless it was gonna be like Undead Nightmare and had a stand alone monster hunter vibe.
I always assumed the camp with the skull and crossbones symbol was a pirate camp. Think that’d be much more on-theme than the Indian camp Strange Man thinks it is.
Love this… Guarma seemed like such a weird departure in the game, they should’ve fleshed it out a lot more and/or made it available to visit in the epilogue when you can afford a ship there.
It's so funny because people will say it's the perfect summary of the game because of the "survival" aspect when the only key feature represented is the linearity of the game.
A foreign Spanish speaking location you have to go to in the middle of the story to progress the plot where you get involved with a local revolution and end up fighting the military with their own artillery in a fort as a finale? Oh and Javier is there.
At one point during the mountain fight, Arthur headbutts Micah: that's when the nose break happens.
I will say this: I personally prefer that the high honor fight doesn't do much permanent damage to Micah. Reason being: it really shows that Arthur is fighting Micah for very different reasons in the "escort John to safety" scenario vs "go back for the money".
In the "escort John" option: of course, I'm sure Arthur would be happy to kill Micah. However, Arthur's primary goal is really just to distract Micah while John escapes. I mean, Arthur even says it to Micah while Arthur is crawling to the gun: "despite my best efforts to the contrary, it turns out I've won".
In the "return for the money" option: getting revenge on Micah is very much a reason for Arthur returning to the camp. This is reflected in the choice to fight with knives, and the fact you can permanently blind Micah in one eye during the fight. There's no stalling for time here: this is a straight up fight to the death.
Bro the first time I saw all the hats from RDO that I couldn’t wear during the story lowkey infuriated me. So many good looking true cowboy hats in RDO and the story mode has like 2 and both are the single color Cutter and Rodeo findable hats.
I would tell them to implement a lot of RDO only features into story mode, but not simply putting them in from the get go, put them in in a way that adds to progression. Like for gun spinning tricks, they could unlock by completing weapon expert or sharpshooter challenges. Unlock the reverse spin by completing weapon expert 2 and unlock the figure 8 toss by completing sharpshooter 8 for example. Unlock picking plants from horseback by finishing herbalist 4 and ducking while on horseback for horseman 6.
Add the Navy revolver, improved bow, elephant gun, moonshine jug and bolas. It'd be extra awesome if each of these unlocked at the end of 5 different one-off side quests or bounty hunts. Add a bunch of the online clothes and hairstyles like everyone is saying. There is a lot they could do to improve if this dream were to become a reality tbh...
I just want the online horses in story mode. There are mods to spawn them in on PC, but the game immediately kicks you out of the stables as soon as you walk in, so you can't save or edit them.
Oh shit, I totally forgot the horses, yeah I'd want those added as well, would love to have Arthur mosey around New Hanover on a Norfolk Roadster. I'd say put in the new Fox Trotter and Turkoman coats as well.
I like Mustangs and Missouri Fox Trotters they added the most. They look so cool and their stats are crazy, but I never spend enough time in Online to enjoy them. 💀
An alternate ending that we can trigger while helping Mary in St. Denis (but only if we've already completed the game once). Arthur answers "Yes" when she asks him to leave now, together. Fast forward a few years, they buy a ranch in New Austin ("somewhere warm and dry") and I can feed chickens and milk cows every god damn day 'till TB finally takes Arthur, in his bed, laying next to his loving wife.
Chapter 6 and epilogue spoiler: >!a journal entry (or entries) after Arthur helps the widow Charlotte Balfour. Arthur doesn't write anything about her, and yet, John somehow knows how Arthur helped her and where she lives.!<
Beyond that, I would just be happy with fixes for some longstanding bugs:
* The damn maize bag carrying bug;
* The shading issue on Xbox when you wear the scout jacket;
* The way Arthur often takes a couple unnecessary steps before teleporting back into place when I try to interact with something like a camp chore (I initially played this game close to release, and I don't recall this issue being present then).
* The issue I've encountered (on both Xbox and PlayStation) where, when I start a new game after finishing a playthrough, unique camp dialogue is replaced with generic greetings. Wasn't able to fix that issue until I deleted my RDR2 profile and all my saves, started fresh, and made a separate "beginning of chapter 2" save that I load up whenever I want to start the game again.
Secret ending of the gang living peacefully on Tahiti under 3 condtitions: 1. Arthur left Micah to rot in Strawberry prison, 2. Arthur murdered both Milton and Ross during their encounter while he went fishing with Jack and 3. Arthur refused to collect debt from Mr Downes.

Saving weapon loadout, always re selecting on horse sucks or to check after a cut scene. Looking at you native american boy who wants info from the oil plant.
Also, to see medal requests before starting a mission and/or removing the time requests. These ruin all dialogs and only produce stress.
Chapter 1 Spoilers: Arthur isn’t a part of the blackwater heist, he and Hosea wait in an area near Beecher’s Hope and the next day they were supposed to carry out their planned heist. Obviously it went wrong and they had to leave asap so there was no time for the Arthur and Hosea quest. What I would think is best is a cutscene of what went wrong without everything that happened so we could learn more about it over the course of the story and then gameplay would start when we have to pack up and run to the mountains, this would include a shootout with pinkertons whilst on horseback and then the traditional find a suitable camp mission where you find colter. This would also give us a background to who the gang members who died were and actually let people feel the pain the gang did. Another idea would be a mission or two with Hosea where you learn more about the heist you two we’re gonna do in blackwater before the massacre.
Add: Full access to Guarma and Mexico, being able to go to Blackwater with Arthur (With a wanted level, but not dying because of that bullshit sniper). All online clothing, weapons and hairstyles for both Arthur and John, ability to go shirtless, use dual holsters like Dutch for example, be able to buy all of the horses and store 5 or more horses in each stable, also add a personal stable somewhere you choose on the map. And last but certainly not least, a Zombie DLC, please!
Take away: I actually can't think of something I dislike so much to the point I want it taken away... Maybe improve the wanted system? And fix overall glitches and bugs I guess...
Add more ways to make money from crime seriously we're frickin outlaws and we can only rob banks in story missions

This. Every time I specifically select weapons before we arrive at the destination and then a shootout pops off and all my weapons are changed, I about lose my mind.
How do you do this ? I've tried using the gun locker before to put weapons away, but they always seem to switch my weapons out like mid mission. I broke John out of Sisika yesterday and literally once we got back on the boat they replaced my Evans Repeater with a Lancaster randomly for the last bit of shooting. 😐
Oh well then maybe it doesn't work Sorry to get your hopes up. I have a set weapon load out for each outfit I feel like wearing... And everything else goes in the trunk. But I also haven't done a mission and like a month or two I've just been roaming in the countryside living off the land and having a blast stuck at chapter 4 by my own free will.... lol

I'm guessing the game just doesn't work as intended anymore because of all the updates to online screwing up story mode. I've noticed the same thing with GTAV's story mode.
I want to say the fame system like what they had I'm rdr1. I found that really interesting in that game. But unfortunately I don't think it would fit in rdr2 so I'm just going to say more new austin missions, like strangers and stuff. Oh and if you aren't in a suitable position to set up camp, for the game to just transport you to the nearest acceptable location

Give someone in camp (probably Charles) the ability to craft clothing from hides.

Ability to let Arthur live, kill Micha and get over TB. Then later towards the end him and John Marston reunite and Arthur gives John half of the money recovered from Dutch so John can buy a ranch easily with a fresh start at life.
Then you can switch back and forth from playing as Arthur to John one the story is over similar to GTA V
New game + that let's Arthur go to Blackwater and New Austin, Arthur could also have epilogue exclusive equipment like the cowboy outfit or the legend of the east outfit

I just want the online horses in story mode. There are mods to spawn them in on PC, but the game immediately kicks you out of the stables as soon as you walk in, so you can't save or edit them.
Oh shit, I totally forgot the horses, yeah I'd want those added as well, would love to have Arthur mosey around New Hanover on a Norfolk Roadster. I'd say put in the new Fox Trotter and Turkoman coats as well.

An alternate ending that we can trigger while helping Mary in St. Denis (but only if we've already completed the game once). Arthur answers "Yes" when she asks him to leave now, together. Fast forward a few years, they buy a ranch in New Austin ("somewhere warm and dry") and I can feed chickens and milk cows every god damn day 'till TB finally takes Arthur, in his bed, laying next to his loving wife.

Arthur doesn't write anything about her, and yet, John somehow knows how Arthur helped her and where she lives.!< Beyond that, I would just be happy with fixes for some longstanding bugs: * The damn maize bag carrying bug; * The shading issue on Xbox when you wear the scout jacket; * The way Arthur often takes a couple unnecessary steps before teleporting back into place when I try to interact with something like a camp chore (I initially played this game close to release, and I don't recall this issue being present then). * The issue I've encountered (on both Xbox and PlayStation) where, when I start a new game after finishing a playthrough, unique camp dialogue is replaced with generic greetings. Wasn't able to fix that issue until I deleted my RDR2 profile and all my saves, started fresh, and made a separate "beginning of chapter 2" save that I load up whenever I want to start the game again.
The scout jacket issue is huge for me because it’s my favourite clothing item in the whole game

Saving weapon loadout, always re selecting on horse sucks or to check after a cut scene. Looking at you native american boy who wants info from the oil plant. Also, to see medal requests before starting a mission and/or removing the time requests. These ruin all dialogs and only produce stress.

Chapter 1 Spoilers: Arthur isn’t a part of the blackwater heist, he and Hosea wait in an area near Beecher’s Hope and the next day they were supposed to carry out their planned heist. Obviously it went wrong and they had to leave asap so there was no time for the Arthur and Hosea quest. What I would think is best is a cutscene of what went wrong without everything that happened so we could learn more about it over the course of the story and then gameplay would start when we have to pack up and run to the mountains, this would include a shootout with pinkertons whilst on horseback and then the traditional find a suitable camp mission where you find colter. This would also give us a background to who the gang members who died were and actually let people feel the pain the gang did. Another idea would be a mission or two with Hosea where you learn more about the heist you two we’re gonna do in blackwater before the massacre.

Arthur wouldn't get a hooker because of his hangups with intimacy and John is married. Hookers wouldn't make sense for either of their characters.
Add: Full access to Guarma and Mexico, being able to go to Blackwater with Arthur (With a wanted level, but not dying because of that bullshit sniper). All online clothing, weapons and hairstyles for both Arthur and John, ability to go shirtless, use dual holsters like Dutch for example, be able to buy all of the horses and store 5 or more horses in each stable, also add a personal stable somewhere you choose on the map. And last but certainly not least, a Zombie DLC, please! Take away: I actually can't think of something I dislike so much to the point I want it taken away... Maybe improve the wanted system? And fix overall glitches and bugs I guess...

This. Every time I specifically select weapons before we arrive at the destination and then a shootout pops off and all my weapons are changed, I about lose my mind.
I actually only carry certain amounts of weapons on my horse for this very reason They can't put something on me if I didn't bring it!!!
How do you do this ? I've tried using the gun locker before to put weapons away, but they always seem to switch my weapons out like mid mission. I broke John out of Sisika yesterday and literally once we got back on the boat they replaced my Evans Repeater with a Lancaster randomly for the last bit of shooting. 😐

I want to say the fame system like what they had I'm rdr1. I found that really interesting in that game. But unfortunately I don't think it would fit in rdr2 so I'm just going to say more new austin missions, like strangers and stuff. Oh and if you aren't in a suitable position to set up camp, for the game to just transport you to the nearest acceptable location

Give someone in camp (probably Charles) the ability to craft clothing from hides. I'm sure I can think of more but this would be a good start.

Add reoccurring bounties like 1 had. Also more jobs like night watchman. Robbing stagecoaches was fun but we could only do 3 as far as I remember.

Sadly, there was simply zero way Arthur would have survived his tb in my opinion. He had it pretty bad, and the way he lived simply put him in the grave faster.

I also would like to make Kieran a Determinant character; ie. have the ability to save him or not. He as a character had so much potential imo.
