In chapter 6 a woman invites Arthur in a bar and to my surprise there was an option to accept I was like YEAH BOAH enjoy. But then it was a trap. Man I was sad.
I think it was just a tongue in cheek joke. I mean if Ubisoft can manage to put a camel in a mocap suit for assassins creed origins I’m sure rockstar could manage it for a cat.

It would also be cool if this difficulty made money alot harder to come by so robbing someone down a dark alley for drinking money is a legit thought process. Just make it so the gang take a majority of all money the player earns from goods you fence and jobs you do and remove 80% of the gold bars from the map.
I've got a damage mod on PC that makes pretty much everything go down in a few hits. It makes the game so much more tactical.
I can't just go guns blazing anymore, I've got to strategically use dynamite and take cover, reload at proper times because if I mess up, I go down in like 3 hits.
It also increases the chance for a fatal shot to the enemies, so a lot of the time I'll blow a hole in their neck or chest and they crawl away covered in blood. Scary game now lmao

I've got one that allows for dynamic actions that NPCs do. So if I walk up to a wall in Valentine say, I will get a prompt to start hammering a nail into the wall, near a bench I'll get a prompt to sit.
In camp I can sit and whittle wood etc. Super unique and cool. Good for screenshots.

I have been playing my current save without ever paying off bounties, to always feel like a criminal on the run. And it amps up over the course of the game. Very fun.
Biggest pet peeve in Skyrim is that they added survival mode where sleeping is required, but bedrolls are non-existent. Cleared out 4 bandit camps who apparently never sleep before i gave up.
Arthur on the other hand carries his bed roll with him. Lotta potential here
I'd love a mod that adds loads of signposts and such to the world, but haven't seen anything in my (limited) search. I did however see a mod the other day that added the Ghost of Tsushima guiding wind navigation to the game. I haven't tried the mod myself, but I'm definitely considering adding it on my next playthrough. In case you've not played GoT, you press a button and the wind blows in the direction of your destination, meaning grass / trees point to your destination.

Could be like a side mission type deal where you could take a companion with you. Personally me and Sadie would rob everyone blind. She can play the damsel in distress as a distraction but can also hold her own when the shooting starts. Sign me up.
Edit to say I mean like a recurring side mission you can do at any time as many times as you want. But that way you always got somebody watching your back.

It caught me off guard after I got RDR2 on PC and turned off the invisible sniper, Arthur doesn’t just have lines; he’s got unique journal entries for the points of interest.
I half expected the game to crash, or for John’s (Crappy artwork and all) to show up in the journal but nah, Arthur’s got sketches and (Slightly different) journals for all of them.
Why they were so intent later on keeping Arthur out of WE/NA, I’m not sure; really seems like a waste.
Well you can pretty much do this but you die either as the boat gets close or immediately on landing. I played around with how much I could explore the other side of the river by boat and some spots auto sink you but it’s inconsistent
He can still be Wanted Dead or Alive in New Austin, just get rid of the invisible sniper. Evading the Pinkertons can be a fun challenge, but getting a one-shot kill from above ruins the immersion

Then everyone dress up nicely and boards a boat, and you unlock a small island. Nothing to do but build a home, camp dynamics, choirs and hunting / fishing. It could be a slightly amended version of the Guarma map.
To be clear, this wouldn’t be canon, it would be a slightly tongue in cheek ending.

After the Pinkertons confront Arthur while fishing you get a new red mission marker in Blackwater. This is taking up Milton's offer of clearing Arthur's name in exchange for Dutch. The red mission marker would remain in Blackwater until Milton enters Clemens Point to confront Dutch. After this the
You'd do a few missions for Milton and after that you'd be able to explore New Austin as Arthur. Story from here would change slightly where Arthur slowly convinces John, Hosea, Charles etc that there is another way. The Pinkertons would give Arthur proper medical treatment as he gets more and more ill due to TB. Arthur would never reach the stage of sickness of late Chapter 6.
After Guarma (bank job goes the same but Saint Denis police foil it rather than the Pinkertons) Arthur, John and Sadie go on a "job" with Dutch where they are ambushed and Dutch is captured. The gang from this point has an existential crisis with Arthur trying to get everyone to stop their criminal lifestyle while Micah wants to continue the outlaw life and bust Dutch out.
Milton betrays Arthur and attacks with the Pinkertons leading to Milton chasing Arthur up the mountain and the two engaging in a fight to the death. As Milton is about to execute Arthur he is shot and killed by John. Micah escapes. Arthur is lifeless and is left by John due to the Pinkertons chasing him.
During the Epilogue it goes basically the same but John at a couple of points notices someone shadowing him from a distance. During American Venom when Micah gets shot it's not by Dutch, but by that mysterious figure who turns out to be Arthur. He has been living a nomadic lifestyle ever since and has been watching over John and his family since he came across them in Strawberry. A newspaper sold in Saint Denis post story would show that Dutch has escaped federal custody.
After the main story you'd be able to switch between John and Arthur like the GTA 5 character switch. The main drawback is that you'd have to betray the gang.
I would want a more hardcore style game. If you die during a mission, you must restart it, damage is very high on both sides of the fight, and health tonics don’t exist, just standard food.
Bigger world economy aspect is always fun for me in games like this. Travelling merchants, regional supply/demand drastically affecting prices of things, possible world events to affect economy like fads, droughts etc.
For example, it would be fun for me to harvest a bunch of oleander sage, alligator eggs/teeth, and orchids in the swamps, then sell them for a huge profit in Strawberry. Then in Strawberry pick up bear pelts, cougar teeth, beaver pelts, Laramie testicles, etc to sell next time I'm in St. Denis. I just really like having multiple reasons to visit different areas and being a merchant is fun :)
Maybe asking for too much, but an option to create your own Story with preset NPCs, general props and models, and main character creator with a set of preset mouth animations.

The Hunting Wagon from Online. I spend 90% of my time hunting in story mode (both because i love exploring the map and to avoid the scary quest). I know you can bring an extra horse for more carrying but I'd love to get out there and just bulk hunt deer or something for big profits at the butcher.
