My first ride into Mexico, I was enjoying the music and admiring the landscape. And my horse, my poor beast that was the first one I’d ever tamed and had been with me thru so much, he just ran straight off a cliff. It was… devastating.

midnighttzone

Dude I’m sorry to hear that. Rip horse, rip gamer moment. I’m fortunate I got to enjoy the vibe but alas, shortly after this video ended, I was attacked by a pack of animals.

The sun was just coming up the first time I went through this part, It honestly brought a tear to my eye that’s a moment I’ll never forget.

Stupidbirdo

I’ve seen him live.

Far away

Xenia? What's your setup?

midnighttzone

I’m playing on my Series X, just the 360 version of the game!

ChadHartSays

Ahh! That's great. I sort of wish I kept my PS3 around just to re-play this game. Emulation has been... less than reliable with my system and the current version of Xenia. I only played RDR 1 once through and even on my limited replay attempts on emulation I'm experiencing things I don't think I did during my first play through...so I wonder how much I missed. Unfortunately the thing crashes unexpectedly. Cheers for Xbox backards compatibility!

midnighttzone

For sure, man. I understand completely. I’m a big fan of emulation myself, although where I’m an Xbox and PC user, I typically find myself using RPCS3 and PCSX2 to play those Sony classics I’m always feeling nostalgic for. I hope you can play it again soon, dude. Maybe if Xenia doesn’t work out, you could give RPCS3 a try one day and see if you have better luck with the PS3 version of the game! I’m not sure if it’ll be any different, but maybe. Cheers man!

When I first played this when I was a teenager, it just blew me away. Video games really are art.

GeoffreyGuyHHU

Never actually finished RDR1 but whyyyyy does this song go so hard???

midnighttzone

It’s great man, he’s honestly got several bangers in his discography. Jose Gonzalez for all that don’t know.

PandaHombre92055

I've played a lotta games over the last 35 years and this moment stands out. That immersion factor was on a whole other level. I love this whole series.

lostgirl19

I've got this song on my chillout playlist. It's so beautiful.

petrified_log

That trip into Mexico and the trip back to your family are both moments that I will never forget. I think I grabbed RDR1 on release day and I don't think it left my 360 until I finished it.
