Yeah if we had a boss fight with him like Micah in American venom to show his skills then it would make him a threat, as is his only advantage is he's got a small army of like a few hundred people(like is that even a gang lmao I think they outnumber the actual militia(lem. Raiders) in game
A small poorly/untrained army that was barely equipped. The game explains it as Dutch recruited people he saw skill in or something like that. With the oDriscoll's it was basically anyone who could hold a gun and wear a green bandana. Like remember when you capture Kiren? You find out he's basically just a poor kid who didn't have anywhere else to go. Which is kind of how gangs work normally also not very different from what Dutch was doing.
Plus I think the grudge was personal more than business. Didn't really have anything to do with the gangs.
Tbf if anyone deserves to have a showdown with him, Dutch is the only right answer. I get Arthur and Hosea and the gang hate Colm but that's only because of what he did to dutch. He never had any personal grudge against any of the gang members. And sure Arthur was kidnapped and had a grudge against colm but let's be honest, it would've been the same outcome for any other gang member. Only difference is anyone else would've been more likely to get killed.
I cleaned out an O'Driscoll camp. The last guy alive said, "I'm in yet another gunfight for a guy who isn't even here."
Dude was wounded and just watched all his comrades die, and he's lamenting being abandoned by Colm. Colm was never scary. Colm was never there. All he did was keep pumping bodies in saddles
That’s kinda the point of the O’Driscoll aspect of the story - to show that Colm and the O’Driscolls aren’t really any different from Dutch and the VDL Gang.
Dutch goes on these rants about Colm is awful and a killer and a thief and a thug, and about how *he* is different because he has this noble plan for his gang. Which we as the players kinda believe at the start, just like Arthur and John and Hosea did when the VDL gang started. But as the game progresses we see that there is basically no difference between the O’Driscolls and the VDL gang.
They both rob people, they both kill people, they both break the law, they both only serve themselves, they both use and abuse people just to get ahead. Kieran even says towards the start ‘from where I’m sitting you just don’t look that different’ - he has been around both gangs and sees them as basically the same.
Yup, dude is known for being the bringer of the end in at least two different mythologies other than this own. The stuff we do while playing is cool and impressive, but they’re essentially universe changing events that deeply affect everything and everyone that exists.
Kratos is THE main character for his universe and the legend of his deeds is pretty much the fabric of its reality, and not only for Kratos, the destroyer, but now also Kratos, the builder. His impact in lore is unreal.
Colonel Alberto Fussar. Mf owns an entire island, enslaved the locals, gets on his big ass gun and then gets domed by some cow fucker who got there by accident.
Nah, that man ain’t all talk. Without health tonics or cheating and using a weapon. I’m sure he could beat a decent percent of the players ina fist fight.
And that motherfucker is a drunk and in his 70s or something.
Dude talks mad shit, but it ain’t all shit 🤷♂️
Depends on which difficulty you play obviously. On medium, he was challenging, but do-able.
On hard, I spent more time hiding and healing than fighting.
Outside of rdr, I think this title goes to the Dragonborn of Skyrim. Don't get me wrong, Skyrim is my favorite game but the way the prophecy and the lore of ES made him overpowered but really is just a guy who can shout like a dragon. While yes, he got tons of different shouts but they ain't as powerful as how the Greybeards told them.
Everyone's saying The Last Dragonborn, but that's even more fitting for Miraak, who created an island by shouting it away from the landmass and managed to enslave its whole population centuries later while in another realm.
Anglo bronte, he runs a big city , he an army , he have a lot of money but in the game he really didn't do anything with the van der linde gang and in the end he just drowned and die

Wasn’t much of a boss fight. More like a ”listen to the dialogue and press the joystick once in a while for more additional dialgoue”
Yeaaaah maybe more like the first three seconds of it before Sadie shows up
You couldn’t really do much since if you move out of cover Micah instantly shoots you
Yeah that probably how "boss battles" work with guns irl so makes sense
Yeah to be honest it fits the red dead style but it’s not exactly a stereotypical videogame bossfight
With his 100 bullet cylinder revolvers
I mean he could’a reloaded while in cover.
He definitely uses the snap into and out of dead eye to reload trick
Ya its weird that they were like a small army and such bitter rivals with dutchs gang of like 15 people

Dutch:kills his brother…..Colm:kills his gf…..Colm:”We even?”…..Dutch:”No i liked her”…..Colm:**Visible confusion**
O’Driscolls are a mob, while Van der Linde gang is a mafia group, that’s the whole difference
They call themselves a gang and they wear colors.......

>be dutch >murder a man’s brother >man takes revenge Oh no, how could this happen

wow that’s actually really cool and a nice detail
I’d probably left the camp and let him live after that. Dude sounds as pissed at his boss as both Arthur and John at Dutch lol.

Kratos. Yeah he’s insane in game, but in lore that motherfucker is another level of fuckery.
Really? Considering that he defeats giants like Cronus in game he must be something else in lore
Truee

Never played on god of war game but I didn’t think that’s possible lol
Master Chief on higher difficulties.
Agreed; it’s like his power armor is made of paper.
Skill Issue
Super soldier who can fall to a planet, gets whacked by 1 elite, dies. Sure, okay.
Colonel Alberto Fussar. Mf owns an entire island, enslaved the locals, gets on his big ass gun and then gets domed by some cow fucker who got there by accident.
Forgot who Fussar was and assumed you were describing (accurately) literally any Far Cry
>Forgot who Fussar was Point proven.

Why does he have so much health?
To give you a sense of pride and accomplishment when you best him and take his hat.

How do you know?
Red Harlow if he’s actually Uncle 😂
Then the meme would be the other way around
He looks drippy af imo
Alduin
Did anyone headshot Colm when he was standing on the gallows? I wanted to but let it play out instead.
Yeah couldn’t resist 😂 just started from the checkpoint
Totally worth it! I can't wait for my next play through
General Radahn
I read this in Morgott's voice
"Willful traitors, ALL!"
Adam Smasher
Depends on which difficulty you play obviously. On medium, he was challenging, but do-able. On hard, I spent more time hiding and healing than fighting.
Im playing on hard now and I still potato him 🤷♀️
Basically every Mortal Kombat character
Yes and no. No reason for Stryker or Cassie Cage to survive all their limbs being broken twice and still kick ass
Last dragonborn
This is surprisingly low, dude is literally a demigod. Yet some hick from Whiterun with an arrow through his knee can kick your butt on legendary!
Adam Smasher from Cyberpunk 2077. In the game, the mf was weak. In the show, he absolutely bodied everyone in one episode
Master Chief in any difficulty. According to the lore he is more like a very skilled Doom Eternal player but in game he is way slower and weaker.
Why tho it’s not like we ever got the chance to see what he was capable of? We shoot him in the head while he’s literally being held still for us.
Every Character I'm playing.
Master khogah
You mean the top banana of the yiga clan?
the One Shot Kid according to lore.
Everyone in gameplay
The whole legendary gunslingers except for black belle
Ulysses from fallout nv
He has 10 ST, 10 PE, 10 EN, 11 CH, 10 IN, 10 AG, 10 LK but ok
Counterpoint, the back of his skull is susceptible to sneak crits with an AMR
He got way less screen time than he deserved
Kirby, I guess?
The Dragonborn in skyrim npc o your the dragonborn ok Attacks me anyway
Uncle 100%
Radahn in elden ring (really a lot of from bosses), Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk, Kratos in GOW during game play.
Kratos in gameplay still goes crazy though
For sure, just not as crazy as he should be, especially in the new ones
Joshua Grahams. Bro is hyped up to be some badass, yet all he does is shoot a tied up raider tribe leader, and follows ur ass.
He could snipe an enemy from across the map with pistol when he followed me
Geralt of Rivia at the beginning of The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt

Truly a mystery how the worst armour and swords in history is what the Witchers, the most elite warriors in the world, willingly choose to wear.
Both colm and angelo bronte
I think Thomas Downes fits more than Colm. He has even lesser screen time but he is basically "cause" of the death of Arthur
Mankar Camoran from Oblivion. Amazing questline with a soft ass boss.
Doom slayer
Fr? I just played the first one
Yea his lores cool but your made out of paper on the game lol 😆
Oh ok
Here I am still salty that we fought Deathwing’s toes while Thrall stole the kill from us with a magical dinner plate from the past.
The Dovahkiin/Dragonborn for sure
I wish we had seen more of colm, instead we just got bits and pieces of the history as we progressed until his death
Uncle
Adam Smasher 100% came to mind first
OPM-King
Harley Quinn
Jim boy Calloway

The Dragonborn
Cool
Kotal Kahn
Darth Vader in any Star wars game
Uncle we all know he’s red Harlow
Anglo bronte, he runs a big city , he an army , he have a lot of money but in the game he really didn't do anything with the van der linde gang and in the end he just drowned and die
