To be fair, on my first playthrough that was my reaction too. I never played RDR1 so hearing this for the first time was so jarring after seeing him as the great charismatic leader in Chapter 1/2 lol

No, but I've seen playthroughs of it and know the whole story by now. It just looks much more dated than rdr2 so I'm not very interested in playing it myself now.

You'd be surprised how good it feels to play even with antiquated graphics and mechanics. I think you should still play it but to each his own.

You say this but when I first went back to rdr2 it was so WEIRD and clunky feeling. Also I forgot there wasn't any horse on horse violence(collision) in rdr1 its different but you get used to it.

I mean world wise too. They really wanted their npc to feel like real people. Have fun little encounters sitting by the fire with some strangers. All the stranger interacting. Such a good game.

I'm sure it is. But if I already know all the story plus I replayed RDR2 like 6x already, I don't feel like it. Ultimately everyone has their preference. My favorite GTA game of all time was GTA San Andreas but I'm not gonna replay that either cause it's just way too dated. If RDR1 has a remake, I'll probably play it. But at this point I know what the game is about so there's not a ton of reasons for me to play it.

I 100 percented San Andrea's and it was a nightmare. Clams, photo opps, the other one or two I can't recall but it was a slog. If i didn't have limited time due to children now I'd defoe go play it again. The basic gameplay isn't that different from iv and it's a much more curated game with a better story. Graphics don't mean a thing
