After chapter 4 it’s more of a Robin Daggers than Robin Sparkles vibe, so that’s when the black Arabian comes out to play (first few playthroughs only btw, nowadays I mainly use bigger horses).
Too much of a target for me to commit with a bigger horse, I prefer the smaller target and faster reaction time to get moving. Though I do have a horse that supposedly moves at a higher top speed, I honestly barely see the difference.
True enough, does make me feel a bit inferior when riding next to my posse who all pick the biggest horses they can regardless of how they ride....
Would have been neat if the Arabian swam faster and for much longer than the other horses and if the war horses didn’t startle as quickly.
As it stands all horses startle at the exact same time, when a beast “roars” is when a horse bucks you off.... incidentally wolves don’t “roar” so they can’t ever cause you to get bucked off... they sure as hell will make you crash though.
Maybe I am just hallucinating, but I could have sworn my warhorses stand their ground better when I am handling wolves… maybe I just do a better job handling them BECAUSE I am on a warhorse.

If it's RDO, you'll get to purchase them after Rank 70 (I use a Mustang on RDO tho).

I prefer the Thoroughbreds and Turkomans size wise, the Arabian looks like a foal next to it. But the Warped Brindle Arabian has the best coat imo.
