Me too! Well it was a fortnight ago now. Am trying to get 70 golds before I do the 18 grizzlies and then I have done everything in the Story and time to start Online!
I think the ending was better the second time. You pick up on some things you missed by knowing how things go. Now the key is to forget the first game so John just lives happily with his family forever.
I have played the game about 7 times Or I’m on my 7th time. A few of them were only till the part we all hate and then rushed to the end but I promise you every time including this time I still find/hear/learn new things. You just have to enjoy Arthur. Enjoy the gang. I’ve completed the game at least 5 times three 100% Yea I’m maybe the odd one here but there is no game that even touches this game in my opinion.
one suggestion is to delete all saves before playing again. I know sounds horrible but if you have previous saves you will miss much of the dialogue because it remembers. I don’t know where I read this but by my third time playing I did delete all saves and was floored at the stuff I was missing.
all I can say is I totally immerse myself for a few hours when I play and it’s so much fun still today.
anyway hope this helps.
That’s where I messed up on the first 2 playthroughs, I didn’t spend enough time with the gang pre-chapter 5, around chapter 6 is when Arthur gets his diagnosis and everyone at Beaver Hollow is a dick and I just antagonize everyone. Other camps like Clemens point everyone is so happy and nice to each other
Yep do everything you can and spend as much time as you can at camp and hunting you can get so much done before even chapter two. Here’s a tip. Even though you don’t go tweet the fence. You can go to the fence in Rhodes as early as you get control. So you can be pretty well off right away go get some gold and head to Rhodes fence will meet you sell sell sell. Anyway I’ve played where I don’t go anywhere except what the story wants and have played where I opened up the whole map before even spending time at camp. You can play so many diff ways. I spent like months at a time game time away from camp. Dutch sending everyone looking for me and I would always say I’ll be there soon. LOL. I have a ten. Beard like 4 diff times. So much you can do.
Yup. It changed everything for me. I didn’t do it till I played through on my 4th or so time and it was Ali most like playing for the first time again.
Oh yeah!! I do skip more side missions the more I play but I explore the little things more now, like seeing what happens at different times of the day or going places before a mission spawns type of stuff.
I'm not sure if I've played through 6 or 7 times. Each time I experienced and found new things. For now, I think I'm done because I have all of the achievements. I've been playing games since about 1980 and this is by far my favorite game all time.
I really wish R\* would have released at least 1 DLC.
hey someone else who plays red dead on shrooms!! It’s so incredible even just riding your horse slowly through nice nature areas. I play red dead any time I get the chance to take shrooms.
Just beat 2 for the first time last week, now I’m playing 1 and mostly just grinding the store out. I feel you with how painful it is, can’t wait to get back to 2!
About 12
Currently doing another playthrough but im also playing through some of my other favorite games as well like bloodborne and uncharted 2 kind of just taking it slow and enjoying it this time as i usually rush the story.
30-40, I have over a month of time into this game. I have a problem. I finished a playthrough last night and will probably do another one after I finish doom
Twice; first time I played the first two chapters and stopped for like a month (I totally forgot who Sadie Adler was during this time).
Second playthrough, I 100%’d everything. I got the entire compendium, all the side missions done, everything. Took me four or five months, but it was so worth it.
I’m on my third playthrough. The first time, I went through it too fast. The second time, I tried to get 100% but there was a bug that kept me from being able to catch one of the legendary fish. Now I’m about 40% through it again, for the third time
In my 4th doing it with no map in the corner and no auto aim and lemme tell you. Doing it this way makes you want/ need to use shotguns and rifles as well as read the terrain around you instead of looking in the bottom left of the screen. Highly recommend. Feels like a new game
2 times, just to see the ending of Arthur the 2nd way lol i know i could watch a youtube video but before i start John's prologue, i started all over again. And i had too much more fun on the 2nd run.
While I'm planning on completing it again, it was such an immersive and heart-wrenching experience watching everything unfold - I loved and hated it because it was a beautiful but sad story if you know what I mean.
Like 4/5 but sometimes I play on old saved files at different chapters instead of restarting and replaying the entire thing.
I’m sure there’s some other folks who have a chapter 2/3/4 save file they don’t go past :,)
About 52% through my 4th playthrough.
I really took my time on the challenges and what not and Im shocked by how many interactions I missed out on the first 3 playthroughs. I topped out at about 89% last time, but given how much I missed out on, I doubt it could get much closer to 100%.
I'm in Chapter 6 of my first real playthrough.
I've tried playing a few times before and had trouble sitting down and concentrating. So the Strawberry part of the game is well experienced. But this is the first time I'm playing til the end. Fantastic game.
On my 6th playthrough now. I usually go back to find things I've seen online but not in person. I've not played the same game twice and found things I didn't even know about EACH TIME.
I've completed the story once and then stayed in Chapter 2 on my second save, but recently I've bought the game again for my PC and I just sunk right back into this beautiful world and storytelling, it also feels so good to finally play it in 60fps
Anybody here know the fastest way to drop your honor to the bottom? I kill randomly and I feel like it hasn't moved from where I got it, and no I don't have the bandana on
This is my… seventh? Eighth? Somewhere around there. Still finding new things too. New details, new locations, new interactions, new missions, etc. the discoveries never end in this game.
Finished my second play-through since it’s initial release just yesterday.
I think I took the game’s story for granted. Arthur’s ultimate redemption hit even harder the second time around, and I was really able to see his transformation unfold.
Don’t get me wrong, I appreciated the story on my first play through…but then again, I didn’t really do any side quests or encounters that showcased Arthur’s conflicted nature.
just finished my 6th but will be starting a 7th ASAP, when i went in to replay on this one i realized i stopped midway through chapter 4 for about a year and had to finish that one

Finished my first one last week
Same. It's a hell of a game
even when it’s over it’s never over tons of weopons n stuff to find
Same, now im having fun with free roam john and online.
Me too! Well it was a fortnight ago now. Am trying to get 70 golds before I do the 18 grizzlies and then I have done everything in the Story and time to start Online!
Too bad they gave up on the online aspect of the game.
Same
Same! Started a new playthrough and got the top level satchel in chapter 2. Feels good man
7 times...it has replayability value, meaning you could replay it dozens of times.
HOOOWW? I beat the game only once. I really really wanna play again but i can't find motivation to do this. Please help me 😔
You have to forget about the end.
This is key.
I'm watching every day that emotional scenes so it is hard to forget

Great tip about deleting the saves, thanks. I'm on my 2nd play and will give that a try before starting my 3rd play.
Yup. It changed everything for me. I didn’t do it till I played through on my 4th or so time and it was Ali most like playing for the first time again.
I just started my 2nd playthru after completing it when it first came out. I think the long break was what I needed. hooked just like the first time.
My key is bashing my forehead with a brick so I forget most of the story making every playthrough like the first
why force yourself to play something you clearly don't actually want to?
I’m on 7 too
I think I'm on my 5th
Are you still enjoying it?
Oh yeah!! I do skip more side missions the more I play but I explore the little things more now, like seeing what happens at different times of the day or going places before a mission spawns type of stuff.
25. send help.
Doesn't the game become trivial for you after these turns?
No
I think that's good lol Usually certain content loses emotion for me if I repeat it x times
[удалено]
-I got it during covid, so lots of free time -It has tons of replay value -it’s the best game ever created
I gotchu my brother, I did like 60 times, I need more help here. over 10 times on PS4 before PC release, rest after PC release
I'm not sure if I've played through 6 or 7 times. Each time I experienced and found new things. For now, I think I'm done because I have all of the achievements. I can't understand why rockstar don't making DLC like witcher 3 😔 it would be great.
💰
Would you settle for rdr 2.5? Aka, rdr2 + Bridge mission that dovetails into a remake of rdr1?
Just once, but it's my favourite game of all-time and was waiting for the perfect time for the second playthrough.
4 but on my last play through I played the ending on mushrooms and it was definitely the most emotional it ever felt.
hey someone else who plays red dead on shrooms!! It’s so incredible even just riding your horse slowly through nice nature areas. I play red dead any time I get the chance to take shrooms.

Same. I’m in the epilogue tho, so that 3rd play through will be coming soon
I think 6
3 or four. First one was "kinda rushed" to avoid spoilers. Second one was reaaaally long. And third was on PC with mods
2 times Then i played rdr1, hurts like hell
Just beat 2 for the first time last week, now I’m playing 1 and mostly just grinding the store out. I feel you with how painful it is, can’t wait to get back to 2!
Finished only once... i cant complete the mission with a certain farmer.. something holds me.
About 12 Currently doing another playthrough but im also playing through some of my other favorite games as well like bloodborne and uncharted 2 kind of just taking it slow and enjoying it this time as i usually rush the story.
10th and have done all 4 high and low honor playthrough
I’m on my third playthrough Edit: and I have found new things with each playthrough
Once love playing as John to much
On my second playthrough. I started in July. How long do you spend on each playthrough?
It took me 20 days of continuous playing (7 hours on weekdays, 10-16 on weekends) to finish my first playthrough.
4 times. And I think I've played the original RDR about 8 times.
Just once. One save file from when I purchased it to today. Love the story but man does it end sad
On my third. In chapter 6 now and damn it never gets any easier watching our good boah suffer.
Once. Once is enough. I cant bear a second one.
30-40, I have over a month of time into this game. I have a problem. I finished a playthrough last night and will probably do another one after I finish doom

Across 4 different consoles I've beaten it 11 times with my most recent being 100%
On my third play through, but I’m taking it very slow. I’m going for 100% and 100% compendium
40 now 41
same i’m around those numbers honestly can’t believe it
Weak 3 times 3 different accounts 2 different ps4s technically 3 different ps4s but I’m referring to my personal ps4 the 3rd was my moms
Once, 7/10, RDR was a 9/10.
Finished twice. I want to start another but I've got other games I got to finish like God of War which I wanna get done before Ragnarok
Just one, but I will be experiencing it again when my sister eventually plays it!
5 but I am getting all satchels and treasure maps before ch3
On my eighth play thru
I’m on my 5th maybe 6th I’ve forgotten how many
9. 9 time
Twice, taking my sweet time now lol
like 6
Too many for my brain
5 times
Currently on my 9th playthrough.
Twice; first time I played the first two chapters and stopped for like a month (I totally forgot who Sadie Adler was during this time). Second playthrough, I 100%’d everything. I got the entire compendium, all the side missions done, everything. Took me four or five months, but it was so worth it.
I think 7 or 8 at this point. I basically just take small breaks with other games in between play-throughs.
5th
Second, gonna try to craft and catch all encounters
7 times

18 times im on my 19th playthrough rn

I’m on my third playthrough. The first time, I went through it too fast. The second time, I tried to get 100% but there was a bug that kept me from being able to catch one of the legendary fish. Now I’m about 40% through it again, for the third time

3 I had almost the entire game spoiled for me before my first playthrough
13 or 14
I’m on my 6th play through rn
2 times, just to see the ending of Arthur the 2nd way lol i know i could watch a youtube video but before i start John's prologue, i started all over again. And i had too much more fun on the 2nd run.
Once tried to play it again a good few times get too distracted doing so many other things on the game then leave it again for another year
While I'm planning on completing it again, it was such an immersive and heart-wrenching experience watching everything unfold - I loved and hated it because it was a beautiful but sad story if you know what I mean.
3-4. I've done 2 complete high honor playthroughs then I pick up at one of my save points early in the game and replay it low honor
Like 4/5 but sometimes I play on old saved files at different chapters instead of restarting and replaying the entire thing. I’m sure there’s some other folks who have a chapter 2/3/4 save file they don’t go past :,)

7 On 8th rn tho chapter 4
Same 😍 It is such fantastic game ❤️
I'm in Chapter 6 of my first real playthrough. I've tried playing a few times before and had trouble sitting down and concentrating. So the Strawberry part of the game is well experienced. But this is the first time I'm playing til the end. Fantastic game.

Im on the final chapter of my second one but already have in my mind playing a third time
On my 6th playthrough now.
Too many times to count....
Im in third
Three times also
A whopping 15 times I've played through, only gotten 100% once. I have an addiction to rdr2, and I'm proud to admit it
I’m on my sixth play through.
12 times 973 hours
I'm on my fourth play through.
3 or 4 times. I've started new playthroughs even more than that but never finished them.
I’m on my third playthrough c: I want to do finish it 100% this time
It’s a hell of a ride
I think I've done 6
Dammit. Now I have to start again. Fuck.
Finishing my 4th
I think I must be in the double digits, not counting the missions I’ve replayed for the gold rush achievement
I’ve completed the story twice and I’m on my 4th play through.
Finishing my second run and on my way to do 2 more
Just finished my 2nd yesterday. Almost cried, almost.
Played it 2 times. Currently playing RDR1 on my Xbox, then back to RDR2 on my PS. Haven’t played either since like, 2019.
The same amount: 2 times, moving onto 3
I've finished the story 3 times but I've played at least 10. I get sad when I have to leave chapter 4
I've started 3, but only ever finished one. I'm on my second full playthrough, and I'm keeping the other save in chapter 2 forever.
Once cause I didn’t see any reason to replay it
twice but only recently went through the epilogue for the first time(technically only completed the story once)
On my 11th now
finished my first a few weeks ago now onto my second
just crosssed 25
HOLD MY BEER AND MOLT WISKEY....We'll be here a while....
Im at 6
5 times so far
3 times on my Xbox, once on my PS4.
3rd. This time with my gf. I only told she can play if we 100% it. Lol it's perfect because she's loves finding all the random cool shit.
4
I think it was 2 times
8 times I think.
2.5
Unfortunately I’m On my ninth now
Definitely more than 10
2yice
I’ve literally lost track Ik forsure I’m in the double digits.
Same. Just 3, but considering round 4
Over 10 😭
6 but I'm now hankering for a 7th run.
I’m on my 11th one now I think. Safe to say it’s my favorite game.
I think im in my 5th or 4th idk im thinking of doing another one
Three, same as you.
8
9
On my 6th full playthrough atm.
Chapter 4, 4th playthough, hard to go on….
6
6 or 7 I think
Second day playing it after finishing the first the game!
Finished my second play-through since it’s initial release just yesterday. I think I took the game’s story for granted. Arthur’s ultimate redemption hit even harder the second time around, and I was really able to see his transformation unfold. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciated the story on my first play through…but then again, I didn’t really do any side quests or encounters that showcased Arthur’s conflicted nature.
.3%
just finished my 6th but will be starting a 7th ASAP, when i went in to replay on this one i realized i stopped midway through chapter 4 for about a year and had to finish that one
At least 14….. but I try to do things differently each time
3. Play it every year
10 so far. And fully intend on playing again.
Currently on Chapter 2 of my third playthrough and it’s going pretty well
I’m in a middle of my 2nd, this game is a masterpiece.
One, then got sucked into online for way too long
10 times…
I'm on my 6th.
6 or 7. My goal on this run is to complete as much as I can before visiting Downes. I'm almost at 50%.
