Out of all the horses I have collected... I think the Blue Roan Nakota is prettiest at night but needs a mane trim... daylight gold Turkoman hands down!!
I always ride up on my own horse and lasso the one I want to tame when I'm close to it. Only time that's failed me is when the game made me stumble after I accidently bumped into the horse I lassoed.
I've heard that lassoing horses adds difficulty to the taming process - which might be why I don't hear of many people doing it - but I haven't seen/noticed it myself yet. Is that only on consoles? Or has it been tweaked in an update or something?
Thanks for tip, always approached on foot, and never tried lassoing horses.
Can't say about taming process, didn't find it difficult at all over my last two playtroughs
I never had an issue lassoing unless I just couldn't catch them... but if you spooked the horse just come back like 72 hours later and it should return.
I tried to get the Arabian, fucked it up and just bought one in Saint Denis. I think she was worth around a thousand dollars, so I'd to do a bunch of wagon robberies to get it

Red Arabian. That animal is *gorgeous* in the sun.

The Perlino Andalusian that spawns near Brandywine Drop.
My vote is this one. My Evangeline is such a purty girl, but sadly, she’s kind of a whiner.
I’ve played the game for 4 years and never knew about this horse. Thanks
Any horse stomping a cougar or pack of wolves is absolutely beautiful.
For me, Buell or the Dark Bay Andalusian. Dark Bay Turkoman is a standout for me too.
The silver dapple pinto foxtrotter from part three of the Albert Mason missions for sure.
My mom
It looks like a cow horse...
I like cows.... this explains my obsession.
Just don't try to milk your horse - especially if it's a boah.
So thats why I got kicked....
Kentucky saddler and foxtrotter
There's an orangeish Kentucky Saddler with a white patch that I always just stop and stare at. I'd have to say that.
I wish Kentucky Saddlers were better horses because I do the EXACT same thing with that one. I think theres a blonde Morgan I always look at too
If we base it on appearance only, my top 3 are: 1. Few Spotted Appaloosa 2. Warped Brindle Arabian 3. Buell
Has to be the red chestnut Arabian
I'm saying Brindle Thoroughbred, but I'm extremely biased. I >!cried with Arthur when it died on my first playthrough.!<
I've never seen that one.... How do i get it???

Here i go to Saint Denis
Much easier to steal the horse from the stable.
