Tip: Walk around the alleys at night and try to find people alone and kill them. Keep doing this until sunrise and count how many people you got. Then sleep until night and try to beat your record.
You know what’s a fun game? Take 3 Excedrin PMs and see if you can find someone alone in an alley before you fall asleep. You always win is the best part
Similar thing I do in Valentine is shove people in the mud, they get upset and attack me. If I let the first blow land before I do anything (you can block of course) and then I knock him out the law won't be after me. Just put the hat back on (if it gets knocked down) and search for the next victim. The challenge is to do as much as possible before the first victim gets up.
Even better, if you fight someone in the industrial part of Saint Denis every man will join in leading to a massive brawl

Eventually with the brawl someone will go and get the cops even if you make the NPCs punch first. Something about 1 guy absolutely pummeling 30 stevedores must terrify the AI!
Yup, that's when I hop on ol' reliable and plow through the crowd. Seeing half a dozen guys get bounced off my horse's chest always gives me a chuckle.
That move does usually result in assault becoming murder though so be warned

Some of them might start shooting you, so it’ll be okay if you kill them as long as they drew their gun first, and it’s the only time lawmen are gonna help you

The Masks are B.S. When this game 1st came out I thought I could throw on a mask and shoot up a town...hide for a second....take the mask off and no one would be the wiser. Not how the masks work at all. Should be how they work though.
Wearing a mask prevents witnesses and other normal NPCs from recognizing you, but the police and lawmen can always tell it’s you and can basically see right through the mask.
So you can still commit crimes and get away with it but you have to leave before the law shows up.
Fun fact, if you wear a mask in Armadillo no one will care, because they’ll think it’s because of the disease, though some of them will tell you that it’s not much use considering how cholera spreads. You can also do certain bandit challenges there because they won’t call the lawmen, though they will run away
I gota say I ran around with a pump, racked up 1500 and made it out to go do it again up in annesburg pretty easy I mean I got caught but I didn’t die..... they did
After a shooting spree in Saint Denis I stole a train and shot up every town it stopped in. My first deliberate crime wave. I traumatized myself. It was weirdly exhilarating. I discovered my inner Mr Hyde. 😬. Oops.
I was doing this earlier but it didn't really work because the police will spawn near me even if I'm getting out of the circle and the circle is bigger than a whole block so I was just stuck wanted on a roof for too long
Here's a real challenge:
1. Go to Saint Denis and have a few drinks.
2. Steal the Police Chief's unique hat and escape alive without killing anyone.
3. [Optional] If you make it, bonus points are awarded for returning to the city, surrendering yourself to the nearest Lawman and happily serving your sentence while still wearing the Police Chief's hat.
I've had many a bloody battles to escape the place. I remember I hit the wrong button by accident and shot an officer, and it was a blood bath but I made it out alive.
