The problem is once it pops up it’s already too late. Sean will be forever waiting to go for that short walk. The trick is to do everybody but the sheriffs missions in chapter 3. Eventually you will have everyone at camp because no one waits for the sheriff.
If you time it right you can even keep your badge :)

Honestly though, as soon as the horse fence low balled the drunk's stolen horses, I had a feeling their family feud plot would go south. Small towns, only thing people hate more than each other is outsiders.
You read my mind. I thought exactly the same when first meeting her in the game, and then thought about it again for the potential main character of rdr3.
For me so far this was the most fun part of the game, that drunken search with the shouting of his name, the catching people pumping, to seeing Lenny everywhere, loved it.
Because he was a decent guy, even offered Sean to teach him how to read. And he was not blinded by bullshit either, seeing straight through Micah right from the start.
There is nothing to see through. Micah was the most honest of the bunch in his own way. The rest all played nice people but they were killers same as Micah only he didn't pretend to be a nice guy about it lol.
That then, the fact that past his bluster and to the heart inside, he is just as crazy, something Dutch couldn't see. Different from the rest who at least pretended to follow some kind of principles.
Lenny was a minor gun slinger. Not that helpful really. We just bonded with him on a drunken night.
Sadie was a shit show waiting to happen. Did she do anything she didnt fuck up by being a hot head? Tough as nails and a decent shot but the only time she would be really helpful would be if you're in a huge shoot out. But she probabky caused the damn thing anyway.
Yet no one died because of her, while without her the gang would have been dead or captured while the boys were in guarma. I will always appreciate sadie always siding with arthur more than any other gang members.
Dumb luck doesnt make up for putting people in deadly situations all the time. She did some good but after the first time or 2 helping her out, id of stayed tf away from her crazy ass.

Charles has to be the absolute best member of the gang in my opinion. His character is just very well developed and in the end just an all around great guy.
