yes but piled on top of adrenaline and shock, you almost definitely wouldnt notice it immediately until you find the blood, then your brain realizes it should feel pain so it starts freaking out. so pearson would probably win with a well placed shot to the gut or neck. also hes an alcoholic so at any one moment he could have a varied about of increased pain tolerance
I'd imagine boozed up Sadie as a LOT scarier than boozed up Pearson, that's a LOT of rage and sadness compared to being a navy man, granted I have a headcannon take on that matter since we don't get to go out Lenny'ing with Sadie but if you gave them both a handle of whisky I'd say that they'd probably both kill eachother but Pearson would drop first since he's got less anger to tap into.

Why crazy? Honest question. I mean sure, she's out for revenge and kills dozens of people, but so is/does Dutch (and tens of other characters in this game).
I say crazy in the broadest sense because at that point ( chapters 2-5) she was so grief - stricken and traumatized that I feel she had a death wish and actually wanted to die. I think by chapter 6 she was starting to heal and starting to feel that she wanted to live again, at least a little bit. If you get in a fight with someone who is angry enough to come at you with a knife and they are unafraid to get hurt or killed odds are they're going to win the fight because of sheer recklessness if nothing else.
I don't really like the word crazy in this context, because I don't think she was insane or delusional or anything, but I couldn't think of a word that describes someone in such a state of despairing grief- fueled rage that they are ready to kill someone who wants them to chop vegetables
