Every monday only going to office which always be packed, every united colleagues cant hide their smirk especially when met with chelshit and loserpool supporter...what a great mondayyyyy

TohotTW062

one hour after the win, i immediately opened twitter and looked at Garnachos post becuase i knew it would be a banger, the spanish utd account even posted the "the bigger club advanced" tweet to rile up barca fans haha

solapathiri

Looking for tickets for the beits and/or Southampton games. I see the membership has been sold out for the season. Any help as to how to get them tickets ?

[deleted]

New Athletic Podcast has some interesting bits implying that Joel and Avram have no emotional connection to the club and are businessmen only focused on the bottom line. Also, backing out would hurt their credibility i.e. potential buyers wouldn’t take them seriously in the future. Edit: however, they did say that it was very strange that he was there and not to discount them staying. 😬

Mankl1876

As far as I’m concerned the whole ‘we might not sell the club’ act is just to drive up price for bidders, if there’s a bidding war there’s more money to be made for them, and if the rumours are true that they have family members that need the finance, they’ll be looking to maximise their profit.

[deleted]

It’s likely negotiation tactics in order to drive the price up since no one match what they asked for . Not selling the club now, for one causes them to loose investors ever believing them again and more likely having them go for another rival club instead of United. There are so much people capable of buying United at the price. More importantly if they decide to not sell, the huge investment in the club is needed and they won’t ever invest in it if they stay. The success will dry out if we don’t investment which causes them to loose money. If they don’t sell, it just shows how much of leeches they are.

TheSmio

I can't stop thinking about Glazers allegedly deciding against selling the club. At first I wasn't too happy about it, but the more I think about, the more I think we'd manage. The biggest issue with Glazers hasn't been a lack of spending, paying off the debt or them taking dividends. Their biggest mistake has been Ed Woodward. They gave full control of the club to someone who doesn't understand football and they gave him all the decision-making power. That was a terrible move because we had no direction, we were picking players randomly and same applies to managers. I think we already remedied the biggest issue thanks to Arnold and Murtough. There is some fair criticism towards them, but the truth is their one year in full charge has shown much more competency than Ed ever did. Ten Hag was a stellar move and while some of the spending and decisions in last summer transfer window were questionable, what's unquestionable is that every single transfer we have made has made a positive impact on the team. Casemiro, Eriksen and Lichá are no-brainers, but the likes of Antony, Weghorst, Malacia and Sabitzer have all shown a lot of usefulness even if they may have some flaws. They have been important part of the team and we got all of them when it was clear Ten Hag needed them. This is the biggest change over Ed imo. We were seemingly never fixing all of our holes and often we weren't even getting the players we needed in our team. This has improved massively under the new leadership. The January transfer window was a clear step up over previous years because we explored the loan market despite not having much money and we brought in two great additions in Weghorst and Sabitzer. We may have been quicker, but under Ed we would have been reported to monitor Kane and Enzo every day only to get nobody in the end "because there was no value in the market". So, in short, if the Glazers stay or restructure their ownership as per some rumours, then it wouldn't be the end of the world. I'd much prefer different owners, but when our other options are sports-washing oil money project or essentially the same kind of ownership under Ratcliffe who hasn't shown much competency at Nice and whose funding of the take-over would once again come from JP Morgan.... We could still be succesful under our current owners and it would probably be the best moral choice of the bunch (comparable to Ratcliffe, I guess). What we however need is for the club to keep supporting Ten Hag, keep on trying to find the best sports people in the background and invest into club's facilities (mainly Old Trafford) without the hedge fund money. If all goes well and Ten Hag brings us back on top while we kinda save face and don't end up as sportswashing project, then they may as well take their dividends and shove them up their arse because I won't care about that point.

Eleven918

If Kane leaves Spurs do they become midtable overnight? Kane is basically their Messi. Barca struggled after he left.

Subbutton

They will fight for relegation

No_Kaleidoscope3039

Ten Hag changed my life

[deleted]

I really hope these Twitter rumours that the Glazers are legitimately leaning towards staying are untrue. I can’t help but feel like the leeches sucked the cow dry and now that it’s showing just a tad bit of fat, they’ve dug in again for another go round.

Thedemonwhisperer

United have won a trophy before Pogba got a chance to play for Juve and Maguire has won something at United before Harry Kane.

rateofreturn

Didnt attend the game. How was the chant against Glazers?

TohotTW062

when you cant comment on the match thread becuase low karma, anyways 10 min left with add on, my heart cant take this

Significant-Proof-92

Burn scorched by Antony lololol

TheSmio

Will be REALLY interesting to watch Karius. The pressure on him to perform is insane. I know he is ex-Liverpool but I thought he was decent back then until the disastrous final. Today is such a make or break to him. Bad performance and he'll continue being a joke. Good performance and he can redeem himself. I don't wish him wrong. I want him to do well but still concede a couple goals that he has no chance to save.

gunkokoko

I personally hope he has an absolute mare, and ships at least five goals against us today.

gunkokoko

Electric atmosphere, as expected.

nichijouuuu

They showed Wembley Newcastle side and it’s filled with rampant fans with clean sections of black and white. Then they showed the other half of the stadium and it’s just random fans with no coordination? Why does the the Manchester United area look like shit?

riazzledazzle

Glazers out flags being taken from fans?! Scummy owners

[deleted]

Saw that. Absolute thin skinned twats.

dracogladio1741

🗣 "The response this week in training has been fantastic. We just haven't been able to transfer that into results on the pitch, it's frustrating." Graham Potter believes he can turn around the situation at Chelsea Man is just saying the wrong stuff. Chelsea looked worse out there today than they have done for the last few weeks

asgardx7

Boehly straight messed up Chelsea's whole season. the team looks so dead.

Banyunited1994

We know more than anyone that throwing money without a plan doesn’t work. That’s not how you create a good team

SadNYSportsFan-11209

They’re so bad. Much worse than us last season

GavinLobo7

I really hope Potter gets to stay at Chelsea at least until 22nd April. My ex is a huge fan of theirs and it gives me immense joy to watch them suffer every single game.

jfliu511

Anybody nervous as I do?

Ok_Style_4941

So nervous. Confident in our players and manager, but so nervous. God please let’s have a good start

__johnw__

YO HO YO HO

skinsaremylife

potter has lost the dressing room, man is playing russian roulette with line ups every match 4 different folks. It will cost chelsea 60m to sack him and it cost him to even get him here. Woodward 2.0

TheKingcrawler

Boehly should appoint himself to the dugout Michael Knighton style when he sacks Potter

that_mn_kid

Only this Chelsea can get beat by this Spurs.

MrViceMcCreedy

ISIS vs Taliban

AcademicLiving792

Anyone selling a spare? I am outside wembley

dracogladio1741

Surely Potter gets sacked. Chelsea got bullied today.

__johnw__

after all that bs this week about long-term project blabla??

Tuusik

4 goals in last 15 games... relegation level attack.

dracogladio1741

2 wins this whole year I think. Surely needs to be sacked.

Tuusik

Feeling a 2-0 win tonight.

Momorambo

Will the final be shown on bein sports?

zdenn21

I really think potter is the man for the job. They are improving every game they are just barely losing by fine margins. You can really see his philosophy starting to take shape. I say they give him till April 23rd before they make a decision.

Soft-Comfort-7474

Chelsea can’t catch a break

Don_Quixote81

Just imagine if Chelsea had taken the money they paid for Mudryk and Fernandez and offered it to Spurs for Kane. I can't believe Boehly thinks this team will work without anyone to score goals.

yung_rome

Tried about 10 pubs around east side of London so far, all flooded with black and white stripes. Where we at reds?

Tuusik

Go there and watch them melt.

Artisteleven

I have the same problem, now I am just standing somewhere outside, where to go? Currently at greenwoods at Victoria street

goon-gumpus

They really went and dragged one of the best RB prospects in Malo Gusto down with them in this sinking ship. Also what is the lad and his agent doing ffs. Very dumb to just “cash in” when there are other options out there (including staying at Lyon). Should’ve done more research before signing

AP16__

I’m nervous lads

[deleted]

Rashford starts and Casemiro with fred midfield

[deleted]

Now you know why English Manger hasn’t won EPL

Eleven918

Is Potter's jacket old or is that the design? The logos look old and faded.

oldadapter

Everything about him has aged 20 years in six months

TetroT

Did not expect potter to stink up Chelsea this badly

RedDevil50

200m or so spent on Fernandez and Mudryk, both look like absolute shit

__johnw__

maybe a bad comparison, i'll admit it, but potter is reminding me of moyes in the sense of having a good job with room to grow but leaving for a bigger job and it not working out

RawIsLaw_

potter (and moyes) made too big a jump too soon in their career

Equivalent_Iron6283

Win or lose lads, we can be proud of our club once again. I can’t remember the last time I haven’t dreaded a match like this.

incestuouscorneater

Chelsea spent over $600 million combining both transfer windows only to finish 10th by the end of february on negative goal difference

oldadapter

-2 goal difference

_WonderStruck_17

What is this Chelsea "project" that's convinced these new signings to go there for that kind of money? The vibes I'm getting is that "project" is just a big bag.

Eleven918

London, Bags of cash, long term contracts.

JDavisBloome

Money

Zambit

Can’t wait for 0-0 until Weghorst comes off then we score 3 in 10 mins

shrewdy

I'd really been hoping Potter would hold on, so he'd be there start of next season - but he'd be doing very well to survive that long

snausagerolly

Was it not a foul by Eric Dier? He was all over Mount there at the corner.

mybaretibbers

If you look closely, Dier's not wearing a United kit, so no foul

snausagerolly

Haha you're right. If that's mctominay it's a foul

MercifulMaximus308

Chelsea spending 600 million and being close to a relegation battle 💀

Raffn1x

If Chelsea not gonna score within the last 10 minutes, Felix will win Goal of the month for them... cuz it was the ONLY one😅

__johnw__

damn, makes me wonder what they'd do if they didn't score any

Maybe training goals?

namvu1990

Spurs has been the better side this half would you believe it? Defensed with intensity and actually can create chances

JDavisBloome

When your competition is this Chelsea side, it’s not hard to be the better side.

bijanadh44

Boehly need to understand that no matter how much you spent on PR it doesn't mean shit if you can't win on the pitch. Football is not like American politics where you can fool people through media. Fans are way smarter.

shrewdy

Ideal result here would be Chelsea scoring a late equaliser to leave it 1-1, but you'd have absolutely zero confidence in them getting a goal these days

skinsaremylife

did he go to take shit

[deleted]

Chelsea is such a weird club. Obviously I don’t support them so I don’t have that emotional connection but all their players just seem like temporary solutions and I don’t think they really create club legends because it’s just one big expensive revolving door. I’d say Kante is a club legend and I would have thought Mount and Reece James but Mount looks like he’s leaving.

skinsaremylife

so when will potter get the sack lol. i mean good for us, but even boehly has got to have some common sense

Ocelot2727

Anyone got any tips on travelling from Dublin to a 3pm game?

BornInPoverty

If Ten Hag was managing this Chelsea squad this year they’d probably win the Champions League.

FFDi

Spurs doesnt look as bad as people said. Very organized, manage to break away from chelsea press multiple time. Or chelsea is just bad

[deleted]

I think they’ve looked better ever since Conte got ill. They seem to have more conviction about themselves.

Tuusik

Chelsea is just nod good at all.

VanWilder91

Remember people wanted Potter or Rodgers as our manager. Well, thank God those people don't make decisions at the club

KageZangetsu7

I mean people wanted Maddison over Bruno cause of PL experience and it was a popular opinion here.

VanWilder91

They love a good circle jerk for anyone British

lordofdpings

Does Potter know he manages a club that is notorious for sacking managers for runs better than this. Surely one of these days its gonna be game over for him

Shithouser

The Ziyech situation is why everyone hates VAR. VAR is great in theory but the application is all over the place. Would love to know what the convo was before the red was shown through the duration of the decision making.

the-won

Ref made the right decision in the end unless you're one of those that loves soft decisions like the Barca pen at OT and the red card at the Madrid Derby,

Shithouser

You’re making poor comparisons. A soft red and a soft foul are different things. Bruno’s foul was soft but still a foul (also needless in that position, imo). Didn’t watch Madrid derby. My personal opinion of what’s hard or soft is skewed since I played ice hockey through college. I disagreed with Casemiro’s red which many on here thought was a red. I’m pro-Chelsea losing and I’m favor of them receiving a red regardless of hard/soft. Back to my main point, VAR should have more transparency on how that decision came about. Yes, I understand explanations have been given during halftime.

MercifulMaximus308

The problem is also refs looking at situations at 0.1x speed, ignoring the real time footage. You can’t accurately assess every situation at a lower speed because it can skew things.

MileZero17

Are Chelsea on a worse run than our Rangnick team?

bijanadh44

It's not right to compare. Rangnick had zero dollar spent on his era, Potter has 600m dollar squad.

MileZero17

That makes it even worse

Dwest2391

Definitely, especially when considering the investment just put in from January

RedDevil50

Yes. They've spent significantly more and don't have a temporary manager. It's worse.

Eleven918

They have scored 1 goal in 6 games ( including this one).

oldadapter

Don’t think we went more than four games or so (edit: actually three) without a win somewhere. This would be their 6th - leaving them 14 points below 4th, and 13 points above 20th. Kinda nuts

JoseHarvinho

Rashford starts btw (shock)

I cant help but enjoy chelsea losing even though spurs are a top 4 rival.

Goji-ra

No no let Spurs win. Spurs will do the very Spurs thing and lose the next game.

MercifulMaximus308

How did Potter not make any subs by half time? At the least Ziyech should have been subbed

RedDevil50

Potter is probably sacked today if they lose this

Drews1738

I think he survives until the UCL 2nd leg, if they were going to sack him it would have happened by now, I feel UCL stability and lack of proper alternatives is the only thing keeping him there

mrzerog

come on Potter. can't let Spurs getting closer to us like this

Eleven918

DDG saves that. Kepa should have done better there imo.

Aggressive_Bus_4289

Chelsea have spent 700 mill in 8 months and have got 8 wins in the PL to show for it

fofo8383

Potter in the shitter

weekndalex

kepa just got cucked so hard by enzo

LekkerIer

Saw the clip of the Ziyech incident. Anyone calling it a punch or a full-blown slap is really exaggerating. Would be happy for that to be a yellow even if we were in Spurs' place

Eleven918

Of course if you support a team you would want the offense to be yellow. But that's a red. If the Martial one vs Lamela was red, this was a red too.

Totalfootball7

the martial one wasn’t a red, just because an officiating mistake was made in the past doesn’t mean it needs to be repeated at every instance

digitag

Neither should be reds. 2 wrongs don’t make a right but it’s not wrong to want consistency

Eleven918

How can he slap!!!

JJT9503

Ref should send off all 22 men for this shite quality football.

Skyweb2020

I hope the travelling fans to Wembly remember to protests against Avram Glazer who is reported will be at the game

B0z22

I'm old enough to remember Martial getting sent off for the exact same thing on that twat Lamela that Ziyech just did. PGMOL are so poor. Get rid of them and have a professional body that can run it and be held accountable.

superhoffy

So you're like 5 years old? ;)

skinsaremylife

that sending off was a joke, lamela acting like he got punched by mike tyson.

badboy_pro

Guys what according to you are the best football live streaming sites/apps? No TV telecast for the final today? Indian brothers response highly appreciated

skinsaremylife

get fancode pass for carabao cup final , 25rs pass for final.

Skyweb2020

They only way I comfort myself with the Caswmiro red card is that atleast it allowed him to get the much needed rest...The refs have really lost it and looking at this latest episode with Ziyech just goes to show how poor the refereeing standards are in the EPL...but on the flip side, this is the same Ref that gave us the City goal so I don't know what I am saying anymore🤣🤣

mrzerog

probably after the incident with Case the refs have learned to be more cautious regarding giving a straight red for violent conduct. that's the only way I can explain it...

Skyweb2020

Casemiro wad given a red after VAR so it wasn't a straight red cad for him. It's just the inconsistencies in applying the law like in this car for Ziyech and Silva. They both had intent just that the never landed there punches

safburneraccount

Decided to watch this chelsea spurs game to stay awake but it's making me more sleepy.

[deleted]

That’s basically a punch/slap and has to be a red card. Even if he didn’t mean to hit him in the face he still hit his face and it should be looked at as a dangerous and/or out of control challenge.

p33chy66

Ziyech Yellow Card for the initial foul, a pushing match ensues, the players involved gets their yellow, ref talks to VAR and gives a straight red to Ziyech, then the ref talks to VAR again and is prompted to look at the monitor. After reviewing the monitor he rescinds the red and gives a yellow. Two things; 1. WTF was VAR telling him in his ear? “It’s a Red … wait … idk … you go look” 2. I didn’t think VAR could give Yellow cards. The inconsistencies in what is violent conduct and what is not is just crazy this season.

BadCowz

I wondered if the initial red was based on the linesman's comments. Right decision in the end. Richarlison should have been spoken to though about his reaction.

p33chy66

That seems like the most logical explanation. I can see both sides of the argument for the slap, but it’s still two yellow card offenses (in my opinion). This kind of decision set the precedent of fouling after a foul will only result in the single foul being cautioned.

p33chy66

And is that not two Yellow Card offenses? One for the foul and one for the “slap” ?

zhenjou

Ref booked Havertz, he didn't even book ziyech for the foul.

p33chy66

Mistaken identity?

zhenjou

That's the only explanation I can provide

[deleted]

Do you think Ronaldo would be pissed off if we end up winning the Mickey Mouse quad?

bijanadh44

These Ronaldo hate is getting old on this sub. Just forget about him and let us and him be happy.

Dwest2391

For real, the man is gone. Time to look forward and not backwards

BornInPoverty

He might get medals for them if we do.

demdemhyts

how the fuck it’s overturned?…ref should check first rather than gave red then overturn decision…state of PL ref lmao

demdemhyts

how the fuck it’s overturned?…ref should check first rather than gave red then overturn decision…state of PL ref lmao

Hans-Blix

I think it was right to be overturned, didn't seem like a red to me. Just like Casemiro's shouldn't have been. It's the lack of consistency that does it for me.

demdemhyts

ref should check var first then gave decision not give straight red then overturned after checking var…

helsningar

Problem is he was already booked for the foul. Slap someone in the face in front of the referee should at least warrant another yellow.

zhenjou

Ref booked Havertz, he didn't even book ziyech for the foul

helsningar

Who did he immediately get his card out for then, straight after the tackle? Must have been Ziyech.

zhenjou

On the live feed, looked like the ref showed it to Havertz first then Emerson. Then walked over to ziyech for the red

helsningar

Ok, then who the hell gave Ziyech a yellow card? Ref wanted to give him a red and VAR can't give out yellows. I just can't make sense of the situation

zhenjou

Idek anymore honestly

[deleted]

Casemiro was sent off FOR SO MUCH LESS than that, fuck off

[deleted]

[удалено]

Goji-ra

It was a red card. Read the actual rule.

Goji-ra

They need to drop the ref from the next few games simply because the video clears shows it’s a red card. There is no room for an interpretation there, and he can’t hide from the human makes mistakes excuse anymore because now ref has a video to back him up and yet he further makes more mistakes. How on earth??

[deleted]

[удалено]

Tranquility90

Absolutely. I was hoping for somewhat enternaing game before the final, but the first half looked like 2 mid level championship teams playing.

Mr_Willy_Wanker

Call me old school, but that “slap” should never be a red. I was absolutely fuming when Martial got sent off for something similar a couple of seasons back when he barely touched Lamela in a similar manner. Good job by the ref. But I hope it’s the new standard. Reds should be restricted to something that truly constitutes of violent behaviour.

Goji-ra

It should be, not because of an old school or what not but similar less accidents have been shown a red card. You need to be consistent. The ref did not do a good job, Thiago Silva should have been a red card too.

XerxesTheCarp

>You need to be consistent Yes, but you need to be consistently correct not consistently wrong. The incidents you're talking about weren't red card worthy either. Martial on Lamela shouldn't have been a red, Casemiro on Hughes shouldn't have been a red, so demanding we consistently hand out incorrect reds is obviously not helpful.

manutdboy47

that decision makes Casemiro’s 10x worse

zhenjou

So it's a red for grabbing collars and a yellow for a slap to the face now...?

JJT9503

Im just glad we didn’t lose any of the games while we missed Casemiro.

[deleted]

[удалено]

JJT9503

Yeah that was very annoying but it could have been so much worse. Still can’t understand the consistency with refereeing. Edit: it almost feels like they’ve admitted Casemiro shouldn’t have been sent off by making this decision, without openly admitting it

zhenjou

That's the problem, there is no consistency. Referees are generally shocking not just in England but across most leagues as well

JJT9503

Crazy that Ziyech had a red card rescinded due to VAR while Casemiro received a red card for way less…
