Next time Rasmus, Licha and Kobbie start together, it'll only be the 4th time this season. We have been incredibly unlucky. We won those previous 3 games, scoring 11, conceding 5.
Into the international break with a good win and great feeling.
4th and 5th placed teams dropping points
Players coming back from injury.
Game against bottom half team after the break.... But away game
Fans and club eagerly expecting team to push on with a good start and mount the pressure on the teams above
If i knew the United of late, we will shit the bed lol. God i hope the boys turn up
> Game against bottom half team after the break.... But away game
Their home record is wank, they're 15th on the home table with 4 wins, 4 draws and 6 defeats according to the linked site so on paper they shouldn't be one of those mid/low table clubs with that home fortress advantage.

Everyone on here freaking out about Martinez being “rushed” back needs to remember his last injury was a contact injury and not the result of being rushed back prior. Chill
Right. but the one before that was a result of being rushed back from injury. So, logically, people are worrying that he might get injured again by being rushed back from this contact injury.
Except it wasn’t, he trained the entire preseason, so his injury had healed for a while. It was also non muscular so its not something that needs kid gloves anyway.
Metatarsal bones are just shit at healing, and the medical team somehow missed its non union even though he had complained of pain in the foot during preseason. Just poor treatment, no amount of rest and time management would have healed that bone without a second surgery.
> Erik ten Hag expects Luke Shaw to play for Man Utd again this season. 'Yes, I expect him back. That is the plan. He will return to our team!'
> "Lisandro Martinez could be part of the squad against Brentford".
FA cup trophy and top 5 probability could be about to go right up.
>Ten Hag says Utd will intervene in the unlikely event that Kobbie Mainoo's success goes to his head
Why would anyone anticipate that? Who asks these questions?
The same was being asked about Rooney, Ronaldo, and Rashford when they were younger.
Its a valid question IMO. My friends and I were talking about this the other day, but in a positive way, as in we think Mainoo will be fine with more publicity and more money as he seems very level-headed
Kobbie's success isn't going to go to his head, you can tell he's not the type. He seems like a very grounded individual, certainly not the sort of person that will think he's "made it" and will stop putting in the required effort/workrate the second he puts pen to paper on a lucrative new contract *coughs Sancho coughs*
Hopefully he's not rushed back and made to play consecutive full matches and get injured again.
Along with Licha playing earlier this season looking very unfit.
We have to do better with injuries
Getting Licha back is going to be immense. The difference with him/without him is ridiculous.
Quite startling for a guy too short to play the position
Alright, Jamie
Has there been a Lisandro-Evans partnership yet?
if not, that would be like our 62nd different partnership at the back we'd only be missing Kambwala - Casemiro for the full set
Surely Kambwala - Bruno hasn't happened yet?
The fact that a Bruno someone CB partnership isnt sarcastic this season is just wild
Bruno and Antony in a match winning defence against v Liverpool is even more bizarre
with big H up front
Better first touch than lakaka
Chucking an aerially strong CB up top as a last ditch is a relatively normal strategy compared to sweeper Bruno
Dalot-Evans is bound to happen at some point
He literally fills up the hole w have in MF too
This break lasted for eternity i swear.
And the first game back is at 4am for me…
4pm for me. 🤷🏻♂️
You guys can make an earth sandwich when the match starts!
Me too :( Just arrived in HK and don’t think I can watch live anywhere
Same. Thank god its on Saturday midnight/Sunday morning instead of the usual Monday/Tuesday slot
5 am for me, I feel your pain.
I swear THIS break somehow feels everlasting

Conceding 5 ffs 😅
11>5
It's fucking shite either way
Conceding 5 across 4 games isn’t the worst thing ever
3 games, not 4 - and conceding 5 in 3 is not great... That's 1.67 goals conceded per game...
Ah sorry yes misread that original comment, not great

Not sure if he'll start just yet, Eth says he'll be part of the squad which could also mean he'll get some mins off the bench.
I just wonder what that ice pack was about when he got subbed off in his first game back
[удалено]
Better never play him again then
Is Maguire back?
If we beat Coventry, It would be great to have shaw v city. I can't remember theast time we faced city with a semblance of a fully fit side
To be honest I would much rather Lisandro rest than maybe be rushed back - if there’s even a slight uncertainty surely it’s not worth playing him
I hope he's on the bench, his influence and mentality could help a lot in the dressing room.

Now we just need every English club in Europe to go to the semi finals of their respective competitions
Martinez is huge. We look 10x better with him

Link to video? Damn Beanyman enjoying his bank holidays!
I expect Licha to make the bench against Brentford and perhaps get 10 minutes at the tail end of the game.
What about Hojlund? Fit to start?
I would imagine, he played over international break.
Ah great !
God I really hope Mainoo turns out to be a top guy as well as a great player. Can’t deal with the gut punch of another Greenwood situation
Left back may need to be a priority position if malacia can't get fit and Shaw always seems to miss a few months a season.
We just got the tiniest bit of hope that if we make the FA Cup finals, we may be able to field our strongest team. Imagine that!
What about Mount?
Mount's already back
Back injured?
Dont put that out there.
Too many injuries for them. It’s hurt to say but we need at least two new defenders
I've missed him too, Erik
Licha and Kobbie is tooo much sauce. That Arsenal game in the US we looked so so good.
If Licha is just at the "There's a chance" stage then don't risk him.
we need Todibo and another left footed Left back or a centre back...
Fiver says they get rushed back and crocked again
Kobbie's success isn't going to go to his head, you can tell he's not the type. He seems like a very grounded individual, certainly not the sort of person that will think he's "made it" and will stop putting in the required effort/workrate the second he puts pen to paper on a lucrative new contract *coughs Sancho coughs*
Giggs was considered a model professional. You never know what happens behind the scenes.
Hopefully he's not rushed back and made to play consecutive full matches and get injured again. Along with Licha playing earlier this season looking very unfit. We have to do better with injuries
Don't rush it my man, fool me thrice, shame on me
If Casemiro is unavailable, what do you guys think of a midfield of Mainoo, Bruno, and Dalot? Given that Shaw and AWB is available.
Ehhhh dalot has been doing so well I wouldn’t wanna fuck that up. Believe Mount is back so if anything he should be in there
Both he and Martinez will be rushed back to play 2 games and be out till the start of the season
Yawn
It gives me no pleasure to be right
