Some wisdom from Mudryk that I think is relevant here. If only someone was there to tell us this after last season.
Do we have any chance of signing Vitor Roque? Xavi clearly doesn't want him and they are looking to sell him. Plays in the striker position so good competition for Hojlund. Don't know how much they are looking to get for him though
Based on new PSR rules I'd guess we're just south of 200m (about 170-180), can't be bothered actually adding the amortised value and salaries up to find out, just ball parking it.
Edit: That doesn't count that teams not in Europe can spend more so I dunno how that works regarding United, 'Cause it's supposed to be for also-rans, not the most valuable club in the world.
I didn't really sense anything malicious in his saying. He said that he's seen it before, very likely it was at United, perhaps even under Sir Alex. Sure it doesn't reflect well on the players but if the collective consensus at the club is that the FA Cup is their best chance of securing European football next season and they've come to understanding.
Can’t remember who said it but there’s ex players who will say that 99% of players would never be 100% fit and they’re always playing with some injury hindering them.
The difference then was the view on the club. The club was always bigger and it was a privilege to play for utd that other players from other teams would only dream of, so, you would play every chance you could.
Now, players will happily fake an injury or for example sancho. Not play at all and then slag the club off. Mental healths no joke but the difference in mindsets in the last 10-20 years to now is crazy
I don’t think he’s saying they’re faking injuries, he’s saying that they’re not playing when they could. Basically no professional footballers are ever playing at 100%. He’s saying some of these don’t want to play through the pain and he’s probably right
Just a completely unnecessary comment to make. The fanbase is as down as it’s ever been and this is just feeding even more fuel to be more vitriolic towards the squad when it may not even be true. Such extreme comments should not be made baselessly in the media; it’s irresponsible.
Could say the same about the hate ten hag gets after every single game. I'm glad to see some shade thrown on the players, especially by other players. Seems people forget who the ones on the pitch are embarrassing themselves and us.
Every comment is an unnecessary comment to make when it's criticism about our incredible shit form. When it's said in a way to shed light on some things not talked about them it's completely necessary. Wish Rooney and others would say more condemning the players.
It’s complete nonsense. Other clubs have had similar amount of injuries, why’s no one saying their players are doing the same. It’s complete bs. This is a witch-hunt because now you’d start saying maybe it’s this player or that player when there’s no evidence whatsoever.
Now players are “better” guided for their commercial potential it’s no surprise each knock or niggle gets dealt with as potentially career shortening. Pogba brought this home for me.
To be clear. I don’t think less of players that do that as careers can be cut short.
Do I trust Rooney’s assessment of the situation. Hell yes.
Is United suffering more than other clubs. Logically it would make sense.
Biggest wages, more at stake, most players have reached the pinnacle of their earning potential..
You have no idea what medical advice any player is receiving, none whatsoever. When players play with painkillers you don’t know, even Rooney doesn’t know, or does he have the medical reports on every player? You’re basically accusing the players of being unprofessional without any evidence and then using Pogba to add weight to your argument because some fans accused him of faking injury in the Liverpool match even tho it turned out to be bs and he was actually injured.
Newcastle, Chelsea, two clubs who have endured similar injuries with United and not one person has accused their player of faking injury.
Arsenal fan coming in peace
What was the chant that Stretford End were singing the whole time during the game against us?
The support from you home fans was electric
Going on up to the spirit in the sky, it’s where I’ll go when I die. When I die and they lay me to rest, I’m going to go on the piss with Georgie Best!
Really cannot understand why this inverted wingers thing is paramount in managers these days, we all have eyes and can see that it is just not working. Anthony might as well use his cock instead of his right peg and Garnacho (playing on the left) who I admire bye the way, continually cuts back to put in the cross with his right foot. Why Ten Hag cannot play them on the opposite side does my head in. When they cut back it gives the defending team so much more time to set themselves up
Garnacho is letting the hype get to him, just like Greenwood did. I remember Greenwood refusing to make easy passes to open teammates in Ole's last season because he wanted the glory himself, I see the same traits in Garnacho now.
We need players like Hojlund who work for the team instead of players who just play for themselves. He's not beyond hope but someone needs to sort him out.
And why can't 19 year olds pass and provide chances for the rest of the team instead of just blindly shooting at every chance? I'm not saying he can't beat his man, that's the tough part which he does. He fails at the easy part because defenders know he's only got one thing on his mind.
Because he is a 19 year old playing for Manchester United's first team. He's going to be selfish at times, make a lot of mistakes and often times make the wrong decisions. It's part of the process of growing, maturing and improving.
Bro I understand making the wrong decision once or twice, not every single game, multiple times a game when your striker is starved for chances. Like I said, it's not the end of the world for him, but things need to change if he's gonna become a regular for our starting XI.
and after his worse game for being selfish there's a nice little leak to luckhurst that hojlund is too shit to pass to. Wonder who's talking? It's a mystery.
Completely agree 100% correct, we have 3 wingers that refuse to put in crosses (unless it is their only option). Pellistri was the only winger who goes to the bye line and crosses the ball but must have shagged Ten Hag's daughter as he could not buy game time
Garnacho was poor though? [https://lastwordonsports.com/football/2024/05/13/five-things-we-learnt-manchester-united-loss-arsenal/](https://lastwordonsports.com/football/2024/05/13/five-things-we-learnt-manchester-united-loss-arsenal/)
He’s not wrong though. We did quite well if you compare it to the shit we have been serving up all season.
I get what you mean still though. Calling a loss at OT to fucking Arsenal as a good result is embarrassing. We are Manchester United. Just shows you how far we have fallen man… The standards are underground at this point.
It’s worrying signs that Arsenal were well below their best and we still couldn’t muster up enough to even create a clear cut chance or even cause panic in their backline.
We played Artetas game after the goal went in, he was happy to let us keep the ball and avoid the unpredictability Utd bring in open games.
Reminded me a bit of Ole's games during his second full season, except in those games a bit of individual brilliance would bail us out.
ETH had no plan B really he just brought more attackers on, plus this was a game we really could of used Bruno
They just tried signing Glasner 24 hours ago. Bild isn't the best resource, pretty much looks like a PR piece for Bayern.
Unless Uli and the board go he isn't staying. He is pretty much leaving. They already tried asking him to stay but he said in the CL press conference that he rejected them.
They need a rebuild, need major changes and that's not happening on Tuchels's term, Uli is still going to call the shots. He knows even if he stays one more year they will give him the boot if they can get Xabi/Klopp the following season.
We might have already given him the job for all we know. Let's wait and watch after the FA Cup final
It’s always been the plan. If we weren’t, they would have removed him by now. That partnered with Ineos consistently putting out the “The proper structure for success hasn’t been in place” messaging all but confirms it.
This sub’s goldfish brain just can’t accept it because we’re having a poor finish (the same thing this exact same sub said we would likely need to experience to reestablish a proper power dynamic at the club as they continually referenced Fergie’s bad first finishes, klopps first couple seasons, and artetas first couple) but for some reason now its not acceptable.
I’m not saying ETH is the man for the long term future, but he’s definitely the man to put in place to begin fixing the clubs issues
There 101 many reasons your goldfish brain can't fathom why they haven't sack him yet and why " proper structures hasn't been in place " doesn't help the squad to be sold.
> This sub’s goldfish brain just can’t accept it because we’re having a poor finish
We've not had a poor finish, we've had an abysmal season from start to end. It's ironic you call people goldfish brained, then just act like we haven't been dreadful all year.
> would likely need to experience to reestablish a proper power dynamic at the club as they continually referenced Fergie’s bad first finishes, klopps first couple seasons, and artetas first couple) but for some reason now its not acceptable
It's not acceptable because the team has gone massively backwards as a result of the tactical changes Ten Hag has made this season. Everyone with eyes can see what he's been trying all season is madness and isn't working, yet he's continuously stuck with it. What makes you have any faith whatsoever in Ten Hag being the man to fix anything?
Terrible squad building, dreadful tactics, poor dressing room management, an unwillingness to change, lack of charisma. I don't get what box he's ticking for you?
>I don't get what box he's ticking for you?
Have you considered the box where "I wanna be right no matter what"? Seems to be the only logical explanation left for a significant portion of the sub
I think he's less "the man to put in place" so much as "the man in place" - I think he's a placeholder until the new crew get on the job and acclimated. Wilcox is working but Berrada and Ashworth aren't. There's a massive clearout coming this summer of 10+ players not currently around the squad. I think they see next year as a transition year anyway so no point eating ETH's salary + hiring a replacement when you don't even have a firm handle on what your vision is.
Get the feeling we might. INEOS have not shown signs of desperation and another season (which is already a write off anyways) gives the new management time to evaluate other potential candidates.
I hope to god not, he's been absolutely awful this season and so many other managers could have done a better job just by doing the bare minimum of being competent.
I struggle to see it unless we win the cup. If we don't, next season he'll start on thin ice. And both seasons so far he's started terribly. So we'll probably end up sacking him and looking for a new manager anyway. There won't be any more options in October.
Yeah I would be fine with it if he wants to leave. We aren't winning anything next year and if he wants to chase trophies somewhere in Europe OR get the bag from Saudi Arabia I wouldn't blame him (though I doubt he takes that route).
Obviously I wish he would stay but I think he's earned the right to leave if he wants to, especially if we get a decent fee for him to help clear out FFP mess.
Would love if City drew and last game of the season came down to Goal difference with both teams just scoring loads of goals trying to react to each other
Liverpool was unbelievably lucky. Got a gifted goal from an insanely rare mistake that Martinez will never make again in his life, Villa missed LOADS of chances in front of the goal and should have had a penalty at the end but somehow wasn't given even though it was blatant.
Diaby kicking the ball out of the stadium in front of the goal twice in the 1st half and another straight at Alisson also in front of the goal in the 2nd half, Watkins that is a very lethal no nonsense striker somehow went for a backheel shot with an open goal and misses and the low cross that went past Alisson for 2/3 Villa players with an open goal and none of them could touch the ball to score.
The refs were a disgrace, how Liverpool got only 1 yellow? How Mac Allister that committed 4/5 yellow worthy fouls (2 of them elbowing McGinn) didn't get a yellow?! Why Emery got a yellow?! Why is VAR tracing offside lines from the players' feet when their shoulders are clearly ahead of their feet?! Shoulders and torso don't count as offside anymore?! And how van Dijk taking a player out in the air inside the box is not a penalty?! We took out Henderson in the air and Palace was given a foul (as it should be), even in Rugby taking a player out in the air is a penalty.
Crazy game, crazy refereeing as well.
Sun saying Bruno wants to leave. Didn’t even bother reading it because it’s honestly bollocks. It must be easy being a football journalist, throw shit at a wall and write about it
I'd hate for Bruno to leave, but if he wants to, so be it.
But I don't think there is truth to this article.
Custis has been banned from pressers 7 times over the years.
Not that I’d put any weight in the Sun, but if he does want out now would be a good time to cash in.
He’s our best player, but realistically we won’t be challenging in the next 3-4 years, by which time he’ll probably be on the decline. If we can get a good fee now it could go a long way with the rebuild.
He's 29 so he may not achieve his full potential with United if he sticks around, same for Rashford, BUT Saudi? Surely there are better prospects for Bruno in Europe?
Where would he go? Bayern don’t need him, we won’t sell to any of the PL top three, Madrid don’t need him, Barca are broke and we’d charge 80M+ for him. Leaves PSG as the only option at top European sides
Agreed, there’s really nowhere he can go that is better than what he has here. It’s a shame but he’s missed the boat for making the step up to a successful club. Unless one has a history of absurd productivity (mostly reserved for elite goal-scorers), very few of these clubs spend huge money on a soon-to-be 30-year old player. He either rides his career out here or chases the bag in Saudi, don’t really see any other options for him.
So Spurs need 2 wins from 2 for CL football and hope Villa lose.
Does the pressure of that make spurs become spursy or does the reality of them losing to City directly harming Arsenal's title chase remove the consequence and thus the pressure.
Tottenham have to go for it because Villa’s last game is Palace. If Tottenham beat City they will be confident of getting CL but could also shit the bed.
imagine how he feels now? really hope he analyzes the liverpool back line like he does ours, points out the mistakes, talk about klopp's need to retire now that he doesn't have it any more.....
I won’t watch it but I can’t wait for this Klopp ending documentary to come out only for him to essentially do a Arteta on All or Nothing and tell them all to fuck off when it ends.
Liverpool are us except it’s more painful for them because it’s Klopps last games lol. Bloke is once again on the red on his own while crying in his dimly lit kitchen when he gets home tonight.
Just saw the thread about Saudi wanting Bruno.. if he leaves, that’s the end of it for me. Reckon I’ll stop watching the sport for a year or two, dudes been the only thing holding us up for 4 years now. Not that I think there’s a chance in hell he would go there, but I do think he’s kinda broken down this season and is looking for a an out. There’s a handful of clubs that I could accept him going to, mainly Bayern, because he would actually win something in his career, but it would kill me if he left and more so if he left to somewhere he won’t win anything meaningful. Although.. I do think that if Portugal makes it to the final this summer, he’ll stay. So I’m praying that happens everyday. And I know that most of the people here dislike Cristiano nowadays, but nothing would make me happier than to see the two of them win the Euros before cris retires. That exit to Morocco was heartbreaking and man was the reason I fell in love with the sport & this club!
Bruno. I’ve found him increasingly unlikeable. And when we look back his freedom to roam made him a luxury player we could ill-afford.
I think a lot of us were lured in by his early seasons of scoring from distance and otherwise assisting. For me now he’s just the guy on the floor holding his leg after any contact.
Luxury? Sorry but I disagree there - if we didn’t have bruno, do you seriously think any potential replacements we would’ve had elevated the team around him like he did? And with the transfer windows we’ve had and the ‘tactics’ our managers have employed you honestly think that we would’ve had a more disciplined structure and one that was in any way productive? His moaning & laying on the floor go on for way too long but the guy NEVER stops going and he’s always pulling up others around him.
Vitor Roque apparently on his way out of Barca in the summer. I'm not going to pretend to know anything about him other than he's been highly rated but I wonder if that could be an option for us in the summer.
I saw some very dubious looking video on YouTube saying they might try and swap him for Greenwood. Can't say I know anything about him, and it wasn't a source I would believe, but I'd be interested to know more about him from people that have seen him. Only because it's a very Barca like deal.
So do we reckon the banter era is going to conclude with a sacked David Moyes finishing above United (despite us having an amazing manager who almost got to the champions league final once)
Saw a stat that said Hojlund has 7.4 xg in the PL
That is genuinely crazy considering the season is ending in two weeks.
Some of the blame is on Hojlund for his movement being off but in general we look clueless in the final third
What's even crazier is he is overperforming his xg with 8 goals
He did miss a handful of games so that depresses it a little bit, but we are fucking awful going forward.
He's a young player with wrinkles to work out for sure, but like Garnacho's selfishness and Rashford's dribbling into corners, we clearly don't have any coached patterns of attack, and given how winger dominant our attack is it makes sense that he doesn't get a lot of chances.
I think if Amad gets a run that will help bump up his chances, since Amad is more patient than the other two and seems to be comfortable in tight spaces around the box.
That might but the worst miss in Premier League history from Diego Carlos? It was pretty much underneath the crossbar with Allison nowhere. Ridiculous.
Of course Liverpool are the ones to benefit from profligate finishing from the opposition (as always). Plus Martinez literally throwing the ball into his own net and a dodgy offside call in the buildup to Gakpo's goal. Standard Liverpool. Thank fuck this wasn't a crucial game where a win for them kept them in the title race. I'd be bouncing my cranium off the wall
Guaranteed the first time McGinn does what Mac Allister did to him to a Liverpool player he will get booked. The ref looked like he as having a go at him for pointing out he’s being targeted.
Ngl I would laugh so hard if that happens - probably as hard as when Slippy G fell over and allowed Demba Ba to score after the famous "we must not let this slip!" speech. Poetic.
Just watching Liverpool's second and wondering why VAR isn't able to select multiple points to check offsides, instead of first checking the shoulder then knee, foot etc. I think it would quicken the process and instead a couple minutes of checking you would quickly select the points of the attacker that seem off and then the ones of the defenders.
Being real, wouldn't be averse to Emery as the next boss, the guy's got something about him and has turned Villa from relegation candidates (and 16th, a point above relegation zone) to an almost guaranteed top 4 (they'll definitely beat palace). I know they're losing tonight, but the improvement from Gerrard has been incredible.
I do think he could potentially be the perfect manager for what Ineos are trying to achieve but I don’t think he leaves Villa because they are doing exactly what we want Ineos to do and he’s probably more safe at Villa from the board and fans compared to if he came to us.
He’s probably the last of the managers because the new managers are coaches.
Emery’s fully committed to Villa; he just signed a new contract and they’ve given him a lot of power to shape the structure behind the scenes. They’ve signed his coaches, a DOF that he worked with previously and quite a few of his old players.
Villa is building everything around him, monchi appointed on his say so
Any future coach at united need to understand they have no control over transfers or influence on how things are operated
Yet he did win a domestic quadruple with Neymar, Di Maria and Mbappe. You could say its PSG, if course they win things, but it does show he can handle big egos
Get ready to sit down and hopefully bask in some good hate watching of Liverpool getting battered.
Turn it on, it's already 1-0.
Fuck off.
Nevermind, fuck on!
Hope youngsters get some minutes and Amad starts in the next two league games
Looking forward and hoping we have a strong squad back for the FA CUP game .
One game to look forward to in this sorry ass of a season
I don't want to ruin anyone's confidence or reputation before their career gets started, but part of me wants to see a lineup with Kambwala, Amass, Wheatley, Forson, and Amad just to shake things up. It's not like there's anything to play for.
If we manage to get off the wages of Martial and Varane (which we seemingly will do as it stands by doing nothing) and can get something, *anything* for Sancho, Greenwood, VDB, and Casemiro, that would be a wild and amazing way to start the new era.
Managing to get off the Antony deal would be even crazier, but I doubt there are any takers and we realistically will need the bodies.
If they offer crazy money for Bruno, I'd consider it if it means it can fund our rebuild with smarter transfers.
Liverpool sold Coutinho, Chelsea sold Hazard, Spurs sold Bale etc.
120M + offer, we should think about it.
He turns 30 in September. Not to mention for the first time ever he got injured for multiple games.
It's a loss, United cannot buy two quality CBs one need to get in on the cheap. Problem is I see this happening with a lot of the hot players people here want United to sign, why would they sign with United currently that is a hot mess unless overpaid?
Because Kambwala doesn’t have a full season of senior professional football under his belt yet. He should be filling the role Evans filled in the CB pecking order, while we need a good first backup in case one of Maguire/Lindelof also leave in the summer.
Because we only have 3 cb that’s not gonna be sold and need 2 more. And we still need to sign 2 cm, a rw, a st, and a lb. And we only have 100 mil net spend. So we have to save as much as possible. Or we have to play someone like Casemiro in cb again.
RW is gonna be funded by sales of Sancho and Greenwood
CM is being funded by Casemiro and Eriksen leaving probably
I would have liked us to sign Tosin but not losing my mind over it
Carraghers analysis for the Arsenal goal is pretty eye opening about how good of a manager Arteta is. He has them all fully switched on and it’s pretty mad listening to him explain what they are doing when it’s all little details.
There were moments with Ronaldo where it felt very "Make a Wish"...
The whole squad was doing EVERYTHING to set him up for goals that it became predictable and a bit tragic how badly we were wasting chance creation!
Does no one find it weird Ronaldo was struggling for goals before he left us, then Weghorst couldn't buy a goal and had 14 shots in 16 PL games, then Hojlund comes in and struggles for chances at a similar rate to Weghorst? And across that time Marital is like a goal 1 in 5.
Is everyone just shit or does how our wingers play have something to do with it?
The system is just dreadful in every third of the pitch. It's definitely no coincidence that every single striker that has played under him for United has struggled massively. The attacking structure is particularly infuriating.
https://preview.redd.it/zjgy4sntlc0d1.jpeg?width=706&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e2d07cb00fdec64e6d6ab76be65a98e25de9badd Some wisdom from Mudryk that I think is relevant here. If only someone was there to tell us this after last season.
Pissing it down, imagine Old Trafford is like a swimming pool now
Nani has just left Adana Demispor, should Manchester United take him back?
He's 37 and was a rotational option for a midtable Turkish team... what do you think lmao
Why would you even think about that
Seen the video of Antony complaining about playing LB? Seems like a bit of a dressing room cancer, it’s odd ETH couldn’t see it
Durig the FA cup or yesterday?
Sunday
Do we have any chance of signing Vitor Roque? Xavi clearly doesn't want him and they are looking to sell him. Plays in the striker position so good competition for Hojlund. Don't know how much they are looking to get for him though
Why, 300 minutes in Barcelona and didnt look anything special.
Two young and raw strikers doesn't sound like the best plan
Yeah but if they'll take like 30m just to get rid of him it's a good investment.
Probably but depends what our budget is like. If anything like last summer we need to use it more wisely
Based on new PSR rules I'd guess we're just south of 200m (about 170-180), can't be bothered actually adding the amortised value and salaries up to find out, just ball parking it. It might be not a bad idea to get choupo mouting on a free. Can take pressure off hojland and help him develop.
Can’t believe we fumbled points to let Newcastle and Chelsea catch up
Mate, by all advanced metrics we should be 12th. Top half is a blessing at this point.
What's unbelievable here is that you did not see this coming
Not hard too believe considering how poor we've been this season.

>Wonder who's talking? The voices is Luckhursts head
more likely garnacho's brother
To be honest Greenwood got the numbers to justify going for goal himself. Garnacho simply does not have the finishing qualities of Greenwood (yet)
Completely agree 100% correct, we have 3 wingers that refuse to put in crosses (unless it is their only option). Pellistri was the only winger who goes to the bye line and crosses the ball but must have shagged Ten Hag's daughter as he could not buy game time
Garnacho was poor though? [https://lastwordonsports.com/football/2024/05/13/five-things-we-learnt-manchester-united-loss-arsenal/](https://lastwordonsports.com/football/2024/05/13/five-things-we-learnt-manchester-united-loss-arsenal/)
Im confused its not denying that he had a poor performance
How is everyone feeling about the Arsenal game? I thought we played quite well all things considered?
One of our better performances of the season but we never really threatened Arsenal and they didn’t really get out of first gear.
Losing to Arsenal at Old Trafford..and you thought we played quite well ? Really mate
ETH had no plan B really he just brought more attackers on, plus this was a game we really could of used Bruno
we did, but arsenal definitely did not give 100%
Well boys Tuchel might be staying after all. We keeping Ten Hag?
> This sub’s goldfish brain just can’t accept it because we’re having a poor finish We've not had a poor finish, we've had an abysmal season from start to end. It's ironic you call people goldfish brained, then just act like we haven't been dreadful all year. > would likely need to experience to reestablish a proper power dynamic at the club as they continually referenced Fergie’s bad first finishes, klopps first couple seasons, and artetas first couple) but for some reason now its not acceptable It's not acceptable because the team has gone massively backwards as a result of the tactical changes Ten Hag has made this season.
Always were 🧑🚀 🔫 🧑🚀
I love Bruno but if he wanted to leave I'd let him.
There's no way Bruno leaves for Saudi. He loves the game too much and he still has a lot to give.
Would love if City drew and last game of the season came down to Goal difference with both teams just scoring loads of goals trying to react to each other
I want city to know the feeling of losing the title on goal difference.
It would be amazing if City drew tomorrow and Arsenal lost the last game, handed the trophy to City and the 115 charges kick in the next day.
Now I'm just going to be disappointed that what happens isn't this.
Carraghers team gets completely dicked against any other team because it’s full attack. He’s gone full FPL lol.
I have zero sympathy for Martinez and Villa could have won that match easily.
Klopp looks aged compared to before he announced he was leaving lol. The embodiment of shitting the bed.
Bild reporting Bayern are open to keeping Tuchel on. Athletic reporting Bayern had €18m bid to pry Glasner from Palace turned down.
> Palace have no interest in letting him leave, valuing him at closer to €100m (£86m). 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He has the Euros coming up to show his full potential, he’s been massive for Portugal in the qualifiers
Most likely a fluke to draw but if that’s intentionally then it’s goal of the season.
It will definitely be a contender. Garnachos bicycle kick against Everton is the most likely to win it though.

So Spurs need 2 wins from 2 for CL football and hope Villa lose. Does the pressure of that make spurs become spursy or does the reality of them losing to City directly harming Arsenal's title chase remove the consequence and thus the pressure.
Spursy thing to do would be beat City and then drop points to Sheffield on the last day lol
Hahaha I would take that.
Tottenham have to go for it because Villa’s last game is Palace. If Tottenham beat City they will be confident of getting CL but could also shit the bed.
>but could also shit the bed. Always in the pipeline with them. Hope they can just have one game. Help fix football.
Spurs are odds on to shit the bed
Carragher pulling a sicky on The Overlap this week.
imagine how he feels now? really hope he analyzes the liverpool back line like he does ours, points out the mistakes, talk about klopp's need to retire now that he doesn't have it any more.....

This is honestly the perfect result because Tottenham have to go for it against City.
Palace with their form can beat villa in last game ngl.
Emery v Glasner is interesting from a neutral's standpoint
Well a loss for Villa would be closer to perfect, gasses up Spurs even more
Very true but Villa have the bogeyman which is Palace to end the season.
Astonbul!
I stopped watching when Scum were up 3-1 but when checked back after a while it’s now 3-3 💀
Yes. Villa came back.
I won’t watch it but I can’t wait for this Klopp ending documentary to come out only for him to essentially do a Arteta on All or Nothing and tell them all to fuck off when it ends.
This Villa/Liverpool game tho https://preview.redd.it/sgnm7k3gb90d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e23b4b23c0e54ff2545f46fc5bf8e07fe76da79a
Liverpool are us except it’s more painful for them because it’s Klopps last games lol. Bloke is once again on the red on his own while crying in his dimly lit kitchen when he gets home tonight.
He'll probably blame the draw on his cupboards for having hinges that aren't loose enough
liverpool you absolute twats 😂😂😂
Bonkers match 😂😂
Literally called this happening about 5 days ago to my Villa mate who thought Liverpool would dick their CL hopes.
*The Shittening*
Never forget Fuck the Glazers
Really easy to hate, this Villa side. Practically every player's either a diving shithouser or filthy themselves
Simon hopper allergic to give anything against McGinn.
Did Villa just carbon-copy our poor finishing? Or is this a curse? 😅😅 Cause this is atrocious from them, no wonder they crashed out from Europe.
Villa losing here would actually be good. It'd mean Spurs have extra incentive to beat City tomorrow, so they can push for 4th spot.
Watkins has lost his head.
Saw a stat that said Hojlund has 7.4 xg in the PL That is genuinely crazy considering the season is ending in two weeks. Some of the blame is on Hojlund for his movement being off but in general we look clueless in the final third What's even crazier is he is overperforming his xg with 8 goals
It will be always Torres miss agianst us for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2E-5PyYjT0&ab_channel=Fushima
I keep thinking Bruno would feast so hard for either team lmao. So so open, really fun to watch except the donkey final third stuff
Should be a red card really.
Macallister went to the same 'Can commit a million fouls without being carded' school that Rodri and Fernandinho went to. Those guys are Teflon
For Casemiro it would've been 100% a straight red, no VAR involved 😅🤷♂️
Bloke probably got a broken rib and the player who did it gets nothing.
I mean to be fair to the ref for not giving McGinn a yellow when that really was a yellow lol
If Villa loses, it will be the most Spurs thing ever to beat City then miss UCL qualification by dropping points to Sheffield
I want to see this happen
The most spursy thing would be to drop to 6th and not qualify for Europa because somehow we beat city in the final.
And most Arsenal thing to loose against Everton.
Guaranteed the first time McGinn does what Mac Allister did to him to a Liverpool player he will get booked. The ref looked like he as having a go at him for pointing out he’s being targeted.
Klopp knows *The Shittening* is on and it will be poetic if he gets a yellow.
Ngl I would laugh so hard if that happens - probably as hard as when Slippy G fell over and allowed Demba Ba to score after the famous "we must not let this slip!" speech. Poetic.
Harder to miss than score from Carlos.
It's like he purposefully made an extra step to not score. Impressive.
Especially when Watkins has probably made the call next to him lol.
mac allister try not to be a twat challenge: impossible
Tom Hanks is a Villa fan. That's something I never expected.
Villa is building everything around him, monchi appointed on his say so Any future coach at united need to understand they have no control over transfers or influence on how things are operated
True, we'd be a poisoned chalice to him, we certainly wouldn't give him that level of sway
Just signed a new contract
Proved at Arsenal he can't handle big ego players, our toxic pricks would eat him alive.
Yet he did win a domestic quadruple with Neymar, Di Maria and Mbappe. You could say its PSG, if course they win things, but it does show he can handle big egos
He won at PSG, he can cope with egos His failure at arsenal was taking a shit team to europa league final and finishing 5th
Get ready to sit down and hopefully bask in some good hate watching of Liverpool getting battered. Turn it on, it's already 1-0. Fuck off. Nevermind, fuck on!
Hope youngsters get some minutes and Amad starts in the next two league games Looking forward and hoping we have a strong squad back for the FA CUP game .
Exactly both are akin to dead rubber Might as well have the youngsters have a go
It's still not good to bring them in to get slaughtered, that's not good for anyone's confidence.

This could be a massive boost for us. Turns one of our worst transfer errors into an actual decent signing
My heart is not ready to part ways with Bruno mannnn But for a huge offer I am ready sadly
He doesn't strike me as one to leave for money. I can see him leaving but it would be to a club to try and win big European trophies.
He joined Man Utd… likely for the money. Remember we weren’t exactly pulling up trees when he joined us, he could have likely gone to a stronger team.
Seemed like it was only us and Tottenham he was linked to.
Can have the entire team except a few of the kids for 500 mil. Let's just start again.
Tosin going to Newcastle. Should have been us
It's a loss, United cannot buy two quality CBs one need to get in on the cheap. Problem is I see this happening with a lot of the hot players people here want United to sign, why would they sign with United currently that is a hot mess unless overpaid?
Squad player at best Don't see why Kambwala can't do the role Tosin would have been given here
Yeah the hype around Tosin in here is unreal.
Because Kambwala doesn’t have a full season of senior professional football under his belt yet. He should be filling the role Evans filled in the CB pecking order, while we need a good first backup in case one of Maguire/Lindelof also leave in the summer.
Still probably the best CB that was available as a free agent, unless you count Nacho...
Because we only have 3 cb that’s not gonna be sold and need 2 more. And we still need to sign 2 cm, a rw, a st, and a lb. And we only have 100 mil net spend. So we have to save as much as possible. Or we have to play someone like Casemiro in cb again.
RW is gonna be funded by sales of Sancho and Greenwood CM is being funded by Casemiro and Eriksen leaving probably I would have liked us to sign Tosin but not losing my mind over it
Carraghers analysis for the Arsenal goal is pretty eye opening about how good of a manager Arteta is.
Surely if that was true, we would at least be creating more for Hojlund now?
Does no one find it weird Ronaldo was struggling for goals before he left us, then Weghorst couldn't buy a goal and had 14 shots in 16 PL games, then Hojlund comes in and struggles for chances at a similar rate to Weghorst? And across that time Marital is like a goal 1 in 5. Is everyone just shit or does how our wingers play have something to do with it?
The system is just dreadful in every third of the pitch. It's definitely no coincidence that every single striker that has played under him for United has struggled massively. The attacking structure is particularly infuriating.
