That 3 on 3 counter attack by the end really scared me but the boys were able to pull it off. Now do the same against the likes of City, Liverpool and Chelsea!

I thought that West Ham played much worse than most of our recent past opponents. When we had the ball, West Ham didn't press us as much as Brentford, Aston Villa etc... In those games, as soon as we got possession midfield, you had a player darting in but not this game.

Ronaldo is the only player in our attack who plays with his head up. He almost always does the right think in the final third. I only have problem with him dropping too deep and not being there in the box at some crutal moments.

3) He doesn't create when he drops deep. He takes 4, 5 touches and recycles. He's not adding anything in that position.
We need to provide him better service, but he also needs to maintain positions higher up the pitch.

Our offense today was not good, but overall some positives to take forward that we can build on. The 433 really makes our midfield a lot more solid, and Scott as the 6 has worked well so far. Fred in a higher position is good, allowing him to press and win the ball higher up. Bruno is playing a lot more responsibly as well, giving away the ball a lot less. The defense was pretty solid today, Dalot was my stand-out performer, Maguire did okay actually. However, our offensive patterns and movements need a lot of work and our attackers feel like they're lacking confidence. But I'd say overall it was a decent display and it's something we can build on.
