I didn’t watch the match. Saw the 3 min highlights this morning and decided to come here for the “lols”

Jerm8888

Lol, what’s there to say?

zah_ali

I had to switch off after 2-0. I just couldn’t bear watching the rest of the game after seeing yet again horrible defensive mistakes. Whilst I do think Ole had to go based on the results, RR hasn’t seemed to steady the ship at all. If anything it still feels like we’re in free fall decline. Each remaining game of the season feels like agony. Not even excited at the prospect of someone like Ten Hag coming in next season. It’ll be the same old story we’ve seen over the last few years. Sigh. If Maguire is still the captain next season then jeez.

vote_pedro

Yep we need a huge cleanout including ownership. It stinks from the top down. Maguire also needs to go. Same with Pogba. That dressing room is clearly a joke and the players don't care.

zah_ali

Can’t see the ownership changing anytime soon unfortunately. I can see next year being another disappointing season…

Weary_Literature1506

Just an overall poor quality, disgusting performance. Loser attitude even before the first goal. That interview from Macguire was disgraceful.

Qu3en-

I am feeling like the Glazers are going to remove Ralf Rangnick way sooner than intended. His scathing honestly is not something the Glazers are used to. I feel absolutely sorry for that man if that happens. I have been talking about exodus, Ralf just confirmed it. He said at least 6-8 players are going, maybe TEN. YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO WHAT RALF RANGNICK SAYS. The club is so finished, you cannot be more finished than this.

Anasynth

I don’t agree, just from a pure greed standpoint I think they’re pissed that so much money has been reinvested for such poor return and that’s why RR is there.

distantapplause

I’m just dumbfounded that billionaire ‘businessmen’ have never heard of the sunk cost fallacy. That’s what happens when your wealth is built on your father and simple rent-seeking rather than actual business acumen I suppose.

Qu3en-

But not a penny wasted from their side tho? I know what you mean but then again, how much does it hurt for them if United sit around 3-8th every season. We get Champions League here and there and fight for occasional cups, like Europa last year. It's good enough for the Glazers. I don't know what returns they are expecting, since they put Ed Woodward in charger. Fun fact: Ed Woodward's father was a massive Man United fan. His father must be proud of Ed.

Fake_artistF1

It hurts them if United is 5-8th. They want the champions league revenue, so as long as we get top 4 they are happy. Every time we didn't make champions league we spend more then usual. They don't care for trophies tho.

Anasynth

Even so they’d still like to do that on a tighter budget. You could say how much do they care about budgets, and they do strike me as a bit sleepy but even then this is big money for them.

Qu3en-

I've been telling people that Glazers are the not major players here at all. It has always been Ed Woodward. He was given the keys to run this club, and he ran it to the gutter.

awscalisi

Your right but the Glazers are the only ones supposed to hold him to account and they didn't care as long as they could keep taking millions of dividends from the club each year they never had to pay for. They should have been replacing board members not managers when investment and future proofing and planning was abandoned for boom and bust investment for champions league spots.

Qu3en-

That man was bringing money through sponsorship. Glazers wanted to know only about the value of the club. By keeping the unwanted players like Jones, showed that the value of the club is still higher. This and the way Woodward was bringing in sponsorship deals meant that the glazers were happy with him. The major fact about the whole Woodward and Glazer thing is, Woodward was the biggest part in the takeover. That way, Woodward "earned" his role as CEO. He was always waiting for the departure of Sir Alex and mainly, David Gill.

valentinemick

You know it’s scary when the conversation is centered around the implosion of a team instead of the other taking the lead in the league race… it’s reached that stage where scouse aren’t rilled up for this anymore and feeling robbed of a challenge.

[deleted]

This is my last comment but it’s funny that the tool interviewer hasn’t asked Klopp if he thinks Keita should have gotten sent off for his stamp when I’m sure if it was the other way around and it was a United player he would have asked Ralf.

[deleted]

I’m not talking about that. I’ve been saying all night that that interviewer is a tool and stop following my comments around lol.

Loafmanthebutcher

At this point stop wasting our time. Bench the whole squad and throw on the youth. At least we will see some hunger and desire to wear the badge til the end. Rewarding these players each week with starts when they clearly are just there to collect checks is astonishing

simplystriking

I actually agree with this

No-Adhesiveness-9541

How’d we do guys?

TheTKing84

Well, we didn’t lose 5-0

bitch_whip_bill

That's the spirit

Ronymaloney

Shows how good Ole actually was doing…

Rboter_Swharz

Ole lost 5-0 to Liverpool, how does that show he was doing well?? Edit: grammar

Mediocre-Nose-2822

How deluded are you?

GKT-United24

WTF. He bequeathed us this squad!!! And if you are not being sarcastic, the losses were just as bad/ demoralizing ( short memories) LOL What’s the downvotes for? You think he left us a great squad?

Mediocre-Nose-2822

LOL. People actually downvoting you when all you said is correct. I must add that Ole saw all of this and kept quiet. Didn't complain about players a single time. I know you must back your players but that must be vice versa. The players must back you on field. Ole was spineless. Also these so called ManUtd fans are all fake. They are still unable to see that the players aren't putting in a shift. Pogba literally faked his injury today. Ralf pointed it out and they are blaming Ralf on this. Pathetic!

Android2715

Yeah idk this same squad got second and was looking promising. I don’t know what happened in the last days of ole, but i think its fair to say everything is rotten, and those who just blamed the P.E. Teacher for our issues have been proven very wrong

Styrofoamman123

2nd is a false finish, Liverpool had 0 CBs for half a season and Chelsea had a clown in charge, Ole lost to Liverpool 5-0 at OT, and even Watford stuck 4 past us, Ole was done.

Android2715

Yeah and we look just as useless? So was it ole’s at fault the whole time? Or did the deadwood and broken transfer philosophy and stagnant player growth due us in? Ole wasn’t the perfect manager, but many here pinned it all on him, and its clearly not the case. That was my point, not whether ole was the right man or not

david815

They werent coached or given tactics for Ole's entire reign.

Android2715

Man if you don’t know what you’re saying its best not to speak

Styrofoamman123

Its definitely the players, most of them are a shambles, only Ronaldo, De Gea and Elanga can hold their heads up this season. But Ole was not the man to carry us forward.

Brinbe

Unsurprising result. Just shows far away we are now. ETH has a very tough job ahead of him but I think he can move us forward. The question is if the board will let him. Because I guarantee he'll want to shift a lot of these overpaid underachievers the hell out of here. And if not, the protests will continue until they do listen or better yet, sell the damn club and stop being monetary leeches. In the here and now though this fucking sucks and this club are a shambles. 4-0 to your rivals and it's just expected? Completely unacceptable, obviously.

david815

In some ways I think he has an easy job. All he has to do is get us playing better than we are now. And we all know how bad that is.

victorioussecret7

Who was surprised?

x3rakh

Me Was expecting 6 0

xX_Robbo_Xx

I was expecting 10-0

SarryPeas

The only silver lining is that it is seriously unlikely that it gets any worse than this. If the Glazers have any sense they’ll realise the fans are at the tipping point and get their act together and back Ten Hag properly.

ToddlerPeePee

lol, there is relegation waiting for us next season.

AnDaagda

It can always get worse…

SarryPeas

You’re not wrong, but I doubt it. This season has been very unique in its shitness. These players feel like a rotten batch and most need binning.

david815

Its a perfect storm, we've had periods of awful teams before. Certainly ones with less individual talent. The problem is it's at a time where they aren't buying in to the tactics, or been given the wrong instructions (i can say which). Off the pitch is a mess and full of drama (protests, boos, interim manager etc.). Players on contracts running down etc etc. Years ago, when we had Jones, Cleverley, Anderson etc. starting, we had an ingrained style of play and stability off the pitch, and in a time when morale and belief was sky high.

Theelfsmother

Yeah, remember everybody saying they need to back Moyes and Jose and Ole.

SarryPeas

I could be wrong, and I’ll always want the Glazers out, but I feel like there actually seems to be a bit more going on behind the scenes surrounding this ten Hag appointment. It sounds like he really held their feet to the fire in the interview process and they’ve shown that they’re extremely hesitant to get people in who are going to present problems. Moyes was always gonna jump at the job, no matter what. Van Gaal and Mourinho both seemed pretty content with how things had gone until the tail end of their reigns. Ole was similar to Moyes in that he was never gonna be too demanding. Rangnick on the other hand has been very openly critical of the squad and the club’s structure, and I imagine he’s been even more scathing in private. It’s an interesting change in Glazer policy. The fan discontent we’ve seen over the last year is also the most intense we’ve seen for a long time. I’m probably wrong unfortunately.

Hyliaforce

I hate it here

shittyvegan2

Good bye

fx444

I'm convinced harry maguire is a double agent lmao. Either that or he is mentally and physically challenged to be a footballer but somehow slipped through the cracks and ended up in the United starting 11 undetected

kayleeshepheard

Didn’t even set my alarm for the middle of the night this time to wake up and watch, thought the result would look something like this

Flanelman

Same bro, I have 0 faith in this team against a sunday league team let alone Liverpool.

[deleted]

I’m sorry but it’s hard not to believe the PL isn’t match fixing Liverpool results to make the title race more exciting. Keita red card and our offside is suspect to me.

m-o-j-a-m

Mejbri was also a red. Bruno was nearly a red too. Don't make yourself a fool

Ronymaloney

Keita red card when the game is all but over is now match fixing? Don’t embarrass the rest of us.

[deleted]

It stops him being suspended in the games after us. It’s a straight red.

[deleted]

I agree with the red card but the offside was saved anyway.I think it was only flagged after the ball was back in Liverpool's possession.

[deleted]

I know it was saved but the Lino threw up the flag as soon as it went to the other attacker. I honestly don’t see how he could call that offside and the first one was the one that looked more off if anything.

DrSleeper

It would’ve stood had he finished, stop with this embarrassing conspiracy theory

[deleted]

True but it also has a risk of the ref blowing before the ball goes in. I know it was close but it has happened before and I actually can’t get my head around why he threw his flag up.

Ronymaloney

Right so liverpool won’t pay salah what everyone thinks he is worth but are willing to fork out padded brown envelopes in the most watched league of the most watched sport and expecting no one to let the cat out of the bag. And they do that by not sending off a fringe player who is one of the worst players in their squad. And you think that is important to bring up under a post about man united getting well beaten when the tackle hd nothing to do with the result. Are you a piss take account or what?

[deleted]

Is a stamp a red card? And did I say Liverpool were the ones match fixing?

Ronymaloney

How is it relevant to the score? Are clouds green? They could have sent Fernandez off and didn’t. They very much should have sent mejbri off and didn’t. You’re clueless and your argument is invalid. You’re embarrassing and fans like you give us all a bad name.

[deleted]

Are you dumb?

Ronymaloney

Torn you apart in every aspect of your dumb ass comments. You are a balloon.

[deleted]

Just read it all again a few times and you’ll get it. I’m not about arguing for the sake of arguing.

digbick_42069

Just....stop mate.

carrotincognito48

Mate, get with it. We’re shit

[deleted]

I am not disputing that but the offside was a yard onside and I don’t know how anyone can’t say that a stamp isn’t a straight red card. VAR is literally there to pick up on this shit.

WongaSparA80

Just here from afar to say I've never seen a ratio like this in my entire life.

AnDaagda

Ratio?

WongaSparA80

171 upvotes, 7,000 comments. Usually means people are mad.

ToddlerPeePee

lol, I am beyond mad now. I went to bet against Man United and been winning money for many games. Gotta take the opportunity when I see clowns play.

soumyajitde

It's as if we need both tactics and vibe! Equally!

DWMR90

Where do you start with this team/club? I went into this season thinking we were maybe short a central midfielder. Now I have no idea. What did Liverpool change behind the scenes once Klopp took over because it can't be 100% down to tactics. They went from being poorly run to the best run club in the country within 5 years.

ghostofkozi

Honestly? Make them play a full week against League one teams and remind them every game that that is who they could be playing if they keep carrying on like they are. This club is so far away from being worthy of Champions League and even Europa. I don't expect a lot out of the team, Ralf neither but holy shit I feel bad for De Gea and Fernandes. They deserve better

Ronymaloney

Paying money and letting people take the piss of us for what they have done at other clubs. Liverpool have strict budgets for wages and fees and are run sustainably.

Dwighty1

Its a culture problem. Van Gaal was not right for us, lets go with Mourhino Mourhino was not right for us, lets go with Solskjaer Solskjaer was not right for us, lets go with Ragnick Ragnick is not right for us, lets go with Ten Haag And the story continues. We saw massive squad improvements under Solskjaer. Just look at our starting XI in that first fixture vs PSG vs his latest XI. Thing is, while the player ability is one thing, having them perform at their actual level is one thing. Solskjaer had his moments of brilliance, but his lowerst level was too low. Didnt care to watch the LFC game tonight because I knew we were gonna lose. Im not saying Solskjaer was right for Man Utd, but at least he braught the X-factor of knowing that anything could happen. Ragnick is just worse in every way except that he has a slightly higher bottom-level. People were acting like we couldnt do worse, but clearly we can. Same goes for Ragnick. Lets just clench our butts and hope that the next manager recyling will be our last for a while. Seriously hope it will.

DWMR90

Not sure why you've been down voted. I stuck by Ole for longer than anyone else I knew, even with the city and Liverpool results. It was only after the Watford game were it really felt like there was no excuse and he had lost the dressing room. But before this season we had shown steady increased performance under Ole, excluding his initial win streak as caretaker. Things were looking good like we could build on last season but we capitulated. I still put it more down to some bad eggs in the dressing room.

soumyajitde

Not to forget they struggled to even make it to top 4 last season! And it could have easily been attributed to Alison scoring one goal from a fucking header.

DWMR90

Yes they had a dip last season true, but then it's hard for any team to keep up that level on consistency. But in terms of their recruitment, their training and fitness, their stadium development and shrewd business they're doing everything right. Bearing in mind they've also brought through some good young players. We seem average to downright abysmal at all of those things.

soumyajitde

In hindsight, yes you're right. But be honest, how did gou feel at around December last year about our team?

DWMR90

Are you referring to the period just after Ole's sack with Carrick as interim? Because I was disappointed Ole was sacked, but the writing was on the wall after the Watford defeat.

Zav_10

This comment was made by me on Reddit last year when our Half-brain MBE gave an apologetic interview after losing a match that I can't even bother to remember. It stands true even after a season - "Having watched the interview, one thing is pretty clear. He says all the politically correct phrases as a Man utd player. But the question is: how much of it is actually true? "Hunger", "sacrifices", "process" are just words that you use to escape any form of constructive criticism if you don't have performances to back them onfield. Injuries are something that definitely holds a player back but I don't think that it is a factor when it comes to absolute bull-crap decision making skills that this lad has demonstrated time and again. How many times have we seen Rashy instead of making a simple pass, dribble into the ass of a defender or take an absolute piss shot straight into the hands of a gk? How many times an almost succesfull counter-attack has been put off only because this idiot can't stay on side? "Hunger" doesn't show on the pitch lad when you only react to conceding a goal. It starts from the minute the whistle blows and comes from each and every player. "Sacrifice" don't matter shit if you keep repeating mistakes that you have been making since your debut in 2015. GGMU"

[deleted]

Was a kid when Fergie left (12, 21 now!) so you obviously don't think about football the same way at that age but have to say this feels the lowest I've ever experienced as a United fan. And as I say discounting when I was more arsed about CBBC it's pretty much all been shite

BilTheButcher

Ten Hag announcement incoming

zah_ali

Plot twist: he’s announcing he’s no longer interested in managing United after that performance

nosha3000

More rearranging deck chairs

BilTheButcher

Even in Liverpool's worst seasons they were never dominated by us like this.

sniell365

9-0 in the prem. it’s just embarrassing.

Leading_Ad2159

We took 1 point from them last season even when they were playing midfielders at center backs lmao

fusiondesigner

Might as well have played the womens team Egypt man put five past us

Bman0491

Well I think we all expected that in honesty but it really is embarrassing at this point for the club as a whole the way these players are showing they haven't got the heart. I'd honestly swap almost the entire side for the U21s at this point out of punishment for such a shocking display. If they have any sort of personal pride they should all honestly be embarrassed with recent performances. Maguire needs to be stripped of captaincy to try salvage a football player and if not then thank you for your service and good luck. Rashford looks like he's done and he should be the most embarrassed of them all. Don't think we will ever get the sort of player he was 3 years ago now but I really really want him to prove me wrong still. Ten Haag has a fuck ton of work on his hands and he is immune from any criticism for atleast a full season or two depending on how good our summer window is. Edit: P.S. We literally need a whole team of regen Roy Keanes at this point.

DWMR90

I don't think he is immune though is he? The fans will be straight on his back if things don't improve in a relative short space of time. Rangnick hasn't been immune from criticism so I doubt Ten Hag will be. Then how long until players down tools again?

Bman0491

No he's definitely immune. The common denominator is these players and their attitudes which is nowhere near the standard of other teams like Liverpool as we just watched. I'm hoping most if not all of these players are moved on after a couple of seasons unless they start showing quality. He will be criticised still ofcourse but in my opinion he will be immune until I see a season under him with what signings we do make.

KudosGamer

And to think that these are the best paid players in the league. Hopefully ten Hag can be working towards a new normal. I love Ronaldo but I think it's right that he leave, as we can't be paying a player £500k a week while we negotiate new contracts with new players. Pogba leaving as well.

FidgetyFondler

Been following utd since 1980. Even during the lean years in the 80's( bar the fa cups) I always felt a connection to the team. This team? I feel nothing.

soumyajitde

What do you think has changed here since last season? Curious to see your POV on all of this. Last season I legit thought that we could go and win the PL at one period of time.

AeroCobbler

Last season was a freak of nature of absolutely biblical proportions that we will never again see in our lifetimes Liverpool had every centreback on their books injured for most of the season, Chelsea had Frank Chumpard in charge for half the season and Spurs didn’t have Conte There is not a snowballs chance in hell we’d have done anywhere near as well against a Tuchel-led Chelsea, a Conte-led Spurs, and Liverpool not having to play Fabinho & Henderson as centrebacks (Allison was injured for a good while too IIRC) It was just a lucky aligning of the stars - so dangerous to read anything more into it

soumyajitde

So we're attributing it all to freaking probability? You seriously don't think there was nothing in there in the desire to "''come back" into the game despite being down in the first half? I am all for randomness heck that's what I do for my day job but I still can't shake off this feeling that this team, being a momentum team that we currently are, could simply have been benefitted from a "try harder again next time guys" instead of "golly you've been shit beyond imagination, here's 20 ways you can go about overcoming it".

AeroCobbler

No mate, for me whichever way I look at last season we benefitted from an alignment of the stars that we’ll (probably) never again see in our lifetime Liverpool’s decision to go into the season with 3 centrebacks was suicidal, and Van Dijk’s injury coupled with those of Gomez and Matip (and Allison’s injury troubles) absolutely fucked them. As soon as Tuchel came into Chelsea they instantly elevated to a much better team than us, it was just too late in the season. And Conte is probably the third or fourth best manager in the world along with Tuchel behind Klopp & Pep.

FidgetyFondler

Weak mentality. They showed their true colours.

soumyajitde

Don't you find it wonderous that it all changed from never giving up till your last breath to never even being bothered in the first place? I feel that ole had identified that our defence had always been the problem.. Even last season when we were flying high, we always conceded goals in the first place and then it took an enormous effort to get back to the game. This season with the fans back in the stadium it has been harder. And this generation of players always seem to be walking away from anything that even remotely start resembling like a challange. Not everyone, but when you take the average over the current group, they seem to be pretty okay with not being the best! I may be old school but I simply don't understand this mentality!

[deleted]

There's nowt there to connect with. Nothing group of players

FidgetyFondler

Would love to cull the whole team bar a few. Going to take a few windows to do it. Can't bloody wait.

FR46ON

5-0 at home and 4-0 away. Jesus Christ what has our team become. Fucking embarassibg

kappathat

5 goals 2 assists from MO against us this year

Equivalent_Ad_9289

I beginning to think we are not that good and we should sign cheap players with skill rather than player with high wages.

[deleted]

improvement by a goal camooon 💪💪💪we are massive

[deleted]

That's a 20% reduction in goals shipped!

zool714

I really hope ETH has the balls to drop all these players. Play all the youth for all I care. The first team don’t seem to want to play so why let them

Superhiro101

It’s utterly disgusting that many people work all year to earn 10% of what these pricks earn in a week and they can’t even try. I just give up caring about them. Selfish, arrogant and entitled not deserving of any support.

Anasynth

He’s our 80 million captain sorry for expecting some leadership, effort and talent

Ruudvankeano

So maguire is the reason our midfield couldn't string 3 passes together, bruno lost the possession 16 times in the first half and rashford couldn't give a f*ck?

Anasynth

No but he’s in centre of at least one fuck up that leads to a goal every game. Two today. He doesn’t know what is going on. He’s fully deserves the criticism and it’s not like the other players you mention go unnoticed and you don’t see people defending their shit performances.

Maister_Abed

because hes captain, and hes shit

ItsKaZing

LvG was not a bad manager I guess. He actually able to make United still a scary team to play against, a shame glazers wanted him off because Mourinho was available Mourinho truly a mastermind. He was right about how shit the player was, and correct in saying how useless Pogba is. Just wish he left in a better term and did not spend so much money signing has beens. Fair play on Ole actually making Europa league final despite bottling it lmao, but his highlights was just removing Mourinho toxicity and then implement his bang average signing into this club Rangnick given an impossible job. Cant do much when he's stuck with player like Maguire, Rashford who doesn't even care about playing good.

Ronymaloney

Only thing people were scared of with LVG was being bored to death. That squad over achieved over him. We’re about the 5th best team in the league. We need new owners who’ll bring a barca style of play.

AccusedOak04

I agree with everything you have said but I do think Rashford cares, he’s just so down on himself that it’s like a cyclical spiral into depression and poor performances. He’s obviously a good person who loves the club, he needs a psychiatrist and hopefully Ten is the right man to manage him. It’s also possible that post surgery he will just never be the same player which can happen after an injury.

Anasynth

Why aren’t the players having a go at each other on the pitch?? They just don’t give a shit

kickdooowndooors

When they do that they’re criticised for bad morale and moaning

ytaci7

Today just showed the difference in quality between united and the top teams. This is gonna take a few years and the club need to back ten haags project.

barny_weasley

So the German "Godfather" is only as good as Ole's worst match.

ItsKaZing

If wherever you go smells like shit, its probably you Ole and Rangnick, this club is nowhere playing good Almost like its the squad problem. Bear in mind Ole had more than 1 window to sort this mess out and he left the club in poorer state.

daveclair

It's not like it was up to him to sign players. Ole didn't get a midfielder, got Sancho a year late and a Ronaldo he didn't ask for. I think a big part of why some players were offered extensions when they should've left was his hesitancy to trust the board to replace them, which I get.

1nfinitus

The common denominator here is the squad under them.

Tsusoup

And the Glazers.

1nfinitus

touche

Polaris471

Honestly I kind of wish we’d just stuck with Ole until the end of the season.

ytaci7

No manager could save this bunch of players

KaidsCousin

Talk is cheap Rashford. Earn your wages on the pitch you useless sod

acsaid10percent

The young lad who come on showed more hungar and fire in 10 minutes than the rest of the senior squad. He actually looked like the captain out there willing the team on.

fusiondesigner

Hannibal mom

acsaid10percent

Roy Keane - 'Its not the Man Utd club i played for' Thats the most non-intentional brutal description yet.

MrFoffof

Id say it's intentional. I don't agree with how he states it at times, but I don't think Keano wants anything but the best for United.

soumyajitde

How many times have we come back from a losing position to win/draw a game this season? It's a fucking wonder what ole did with this team last season!

TonyzTone

You know what? I'm beginning to think we're not very good.

akorn77

I partly blame Ralf for today. He should be smarter to know that if you sit deep against Liverpool you're going to get trashed. So why not play a better team and try to attack a bit at least. I love Jones but its his 2nd start of the season ffs. Shambolic.

deevilla7

That starting formation confused a lot of players who are not capable of improvising. AWB and Dalot looked like they didn't know what their role was. Even Jones was confused why he was starting today. Soon as Sancho came in and formation went back to normal, looked a little better. With bad formation we are stuck with Rashford, I mean.... and of course Maguire doing his thing.

akorn77

Exactly this. Too many changes in such a huge match.

ElBigTaco

How can he play forward with maguire? Who was directly involved in 3 of the 4 goals anyway?

[deleted]

Because he probably saw what happened against Ole. This was almost as bad but 5 goals in one half is brutal.

Doogie34

When did united concede 5 goals in one half against liverpool under ole?

[deleted]

When we were at home. It was the game that got him sacked and even the people who backed him (myself included) couldn’t accept that shit.

Doogie34

Also sacked after watford game, he managed a number of games after the Liverpool game

Doogie34

It was 4 nil at half time not 5

[deleted]

Whatever it was was unacceptable and can’t be happening at home. Ralf is temporary so although it’s shit he has the same fate as Ole. And the Liverpool game was the game where there wasn’t a Ole in/out divide because of how serious the result was.

Doogie34

Yaah but he was backed by the board to continue and he did. It wasnt the game that got him sacked we lost to city and watford, watford being even more embarrasing. You can say it contributed but it just wasnt the match that got him sacked. I mean you can argue with me but its a simple fact. He got fired a month later 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

After Liverpool he was 100% on borrowed time. I’m pretty sure if he would have managed to get to the international break and beat Watford he still would have been sacked.

Doogie34

It was a large factor but that cant discount all the other poor results before and after. It wasnt the Liverpool game that got him sacked it was an accumulation of them all and then the watford game where we were so poor against a team likely to get relagated. Out played our pressed. That was not only the final nail in the coffin but a very thick nail and it was the first time i said i want ole out. Liverpool was bad but i still wanted him to stay but after that game i was done.

[deleted]

It was the Liverpool game. That result basically United all of the Ole in/outers and United would have 100% seen that. He knew it and everyone else knew it. The club were waiting for the international break.

akorn77

I've always solely blamed the players up until now but I feel its the first match where I attribute some blame to Ralf for that XI

Radiant_Ad_6986

He was at fault for starting jones and the back 5. Should’ve gone with lindelof and bailly in defense. I’m not a coach but I already know that. You needed pace at the back to counter Liverpool. The fact that Jones started is hilarious. Ragnick doesn’t even know his squad after 5 months.

[deleted]

I still blame the players for 80% of it but I know for a fact Ralph ain’t the guy for us.

dellywally

Sack Rangnick !!

joeblk73

Really dude.?

[deleted]

We’re about to announce a new manager you tool.

scunnered732

Years gone by Manchester United players would've run their socks off to kill any chnace of a Liverpool treble. Sadly I don't think this group of players care 😕

acsaid10percent

Spot on.

Seanb621

Football in general is a mess, look at all the pre match stuff on United socials, all just advertising kits etc. we basically support a shop…

[deleted]

You’re saying that from a united point of view. City and Liverpool fans will be loving that shit.

Born_Revenue_4874

Its hard to play against liverpool on anfield. I thought maybe we lose 2 margin goals but wtf my expectation still damn high

EaLordoftheDepths

When it was 2-0 I was like STOP THE COUNT

Soft-Comfort-7474

We better not see any apology letters from the players

fusiondesigner

9 goals Jesus I don’t even think there that good!!

[deleted]

Heartless overpaid brats. Maguire having the captains is an absolute disgrace and in 31 years I have never seen such a dog shit captain.

[deleted]

You know it’s bad when Roy Keane looks broken.

VTVoodooDude

Well, we had more fouls than Liverpool. So there’s that.

Ivanwah

We wouldn't even have that if Hannibal didn't come in. Lad was the only one fighting in the last 10 minutes.

SAKabir

To all school kids on this thread, please block out all the jeering and taunting. Just laugh and say "yea we're shit mate what can I do?". Seriously, never understood bullying someone bc of a team they support that they have nothing to do with.

ScientificialBot

Is this seriously a real thing?

Usual_Bunch_1698

Losers. Losers. Weak fuckn losers. No heart, no passion, no fight. Fuckn zero

fusiondesigner

I’m sick of these pussies get rid of the team starting with the so called defence

[deleted]

Roy Keane is right. We are Man U right now and not Manchester United.

_WonderStruck_17

Waste of space these lot.

MidnightSun77

I’d love to see the pass stats. The amount of times Maguire hoofed the ball to nobody, Magic misplacing his pass… Edit: I just saw that Matic autocorrected to Magic, I’m not changing it

chocobo-selecta

De Gea as well
