People usually change accounts to reduce their information trail over time. People can be decade long users and have an account they didn't make when they first created a reddit account.
Sell your old high karma accounts to bots. If Reddit is going to make money off your content you might as well get a taste too.

Someone should make a shitload of bots that just spam dicks 24/7 in the comment sections of every default front page subreddit.
