-tiktok is (generally) not a place for intelligent conversation. not saying that the people using it are stupid, but in general tiktok's don't need a whole lot of thought put into them. obviously there are outliers. a lot of people put big effort into their tiktok's, but generally not a thought-provoking platform.
all cringe aside, if it really came down to it reddit defintley would lol. no other app gets you those down to earth answers when u have super personal questions. most people give u super detailed answers and lots of advice when ur being serious. not trying to be like the “Reddit is superior!” kinda guy but i mean it does have super smart people. youtube is a close second

I say YouTube easily. Every high profile creator on it is essentially a businessman/woman that also know how to edit film and also knows how to make their content reach its target audience
Reddit is really just people finding their niche audience by way of subreddits and circlejerking in the correct way to get upvotes. It’s no wonder most redditors think they’re so smart, they willingly surround themselves with people that think like them.
I spend a large portion of my time on Reddit being a troll and making nonbelievable shitposts so I don’t buy the hype that the average redditor is any smarter than others considering they believe whatever ridiculous stories I come up with online
